Our dinner was a 5 star experience in every way. The dining room is stunning, as is the view of Pleasant Bay. Service was warm, welcoming, attentive & professional. Our courses were paced perfectly. Each course was plated beautifully, portions were satisfying, and the sauces were “lick the plate” delicious. We send special thanks to our server who was outstanding and made our anniversary evening so memorable and to Chef & the kitchen team who delivered a great meal.

Out waiter was very slow and for $1200+ dinner it was under whelming other than the view. Dinner took 3hours not because we were enjoying the pace but because service wasn’t great. Love the outer bar and grille and have visited many times but won’t visit 28 Atlantic likely again

Celebrated our Anniversary as we frequently do at 28 Atlantic!! Waitstaff was exceptional, especially Rennie. Very knowledgeable, professional yet personable! Food preparation was excellent and delicious (oysters, beef carpaccio, lobster carbonara, yellow tomato soup and cod dish were all superb—along with the chocolate dessert). Would Highly Recommend to anyone!!

Twenty-Eight Atlantic is an absolutely incredible dining experience! My husband and I dined with two other couples and we all agreed that each course was perfectly prepared with a unique combination of ingredients and spices. Our servers were very attentive and knowledgeable in answering all of our prix fixe menu questions. If you are looking for a restaurant for a special occasion, look no further. Bravo, Twenty-eight Atlantic!!

Very poor experience. We had told them it was our 10 year anniversary and then when they called to confirm, we spoke about it again. When we arrived they did nothing special for us, did not even say happy anniversary. They sat us way in the back despite other better tables being available, the food was very sub par for a tasting menu. They brought dessert and never asked about coffee and when we finally asked, it came as our dessert was basically done. Very poor experience for something so expensive

Service was unbelievably poor. The restaurant seeks to provide an elevated experience with lapel pinned sommeliers and chefs tasting menus. While the food is good and the panoramic Pleasant Bay view one of the best on the entire East Coast, the service is consistently awful. I have dined twice in the past year, both for special occasions and in both cases restaurant management was informed ahead of time. After ordering cocktails and appetizers and mains, I ordered a $300 bottle of French Burgandy (plus an automatic 20% service charge). The somm presented and poured two glasses and left with the bottle. At that point the waitress and somm disappeared. 45 mins later, well into the meal, I finally had to get out of my chair and walk the length of the dining room to the service table to grab the bottle of wine myself to pour the remainder for me and my guest. As the meal wound to a close, and after we had shared dessert, we were again dumbfounded with the lack of attention by the service staff. Our waitress was nowhere to be found and the remaining staff were ignoring our table and instead resetting tables presumably for the next day. It was about 9:15pm so it’s not like we were “shutting the restaurant down…” When our waitress finally surfaced she informed us of a mandatory 20% service charge, including on our $300 bottle of wine. We found the whole experience frustrating and disappointing. After a similar experience with poor service last summer (2024) we decided to give it another shot this summer but the service was even worse. I don’t mind paying up for an elevated experience but there is nothing worse than paying a premium for poor service, especially being abandoned at the end of meal when folks are ready to head out. If Wequassett wants to fix their dining service problem, I’d suggest removing the mandatory 20% gratuity so that your waitstaff actually has to earn it at the table. Sadly I can’t justify going to this restaurant any longer.

Food was incredible. However I felt like we may have been forgotten about on some of our dishes that we had on the prefixed menu. Could have been how it was staged as well other than that our server was polite and accommodating!
