Tutti Mangia Ratings and Reviews
This is the absolute best itallian resteraunt in the I.E. hands down. Their food is awesone and its always quiet and sometimes they have romatic music on Friday or Saturday. The only minor issue is sometimes I get the wrong drink but its a minor issue. Absolutly fabulous! Great place for a romantic evening.
Great restaurant - nice relaxed upscale atmosphere. Wonderful menu with lots of different options. Inventive menu - wouldn't recommend it for the "picky eater" or someone who like very bland normal restaurant chain-like food. For the foodie... this is a go-to! Impeccable service and everything we had was outstanding!
I think Tutti Mangia is the best restaurant in Claremont!! Alex is such a professional and attentive waiter he is such an asset to the establishment. Jose the chef is wonderful he is an artist and really knows his food. It will remain my favorite restaurant.
This is the second review I've written about Tutti Mangia. Although the service remains friendly and very professional, the food continues to be limited and problematic, particularly for vegetarians and pescatarians. The wine list is strong, with some wines getting minimal mark-up, and the bar service is exceptional. The serious drawbacks are the mostly unfortunate pasta dishes and the limited options for non-meat eaters. That said, the meat options are likewise less than imaginative. Considering its locale, I also feel strongly that a more diverse staff is recommended. My suggestion would be to retool the menu to emphasize the grilling options, open the Italian dishes to more imaginative preparations, and generally speaking, go easy on the added oil, particularly in dishes that utilize multiple carbs. It seems to me the idea that this restaurant would be inviting to both students and their parents, as well as the locals, would be profitable and provide more warmth. It can certainly remain a special occasion dinner spot, but the stuffiness is a drag and gives the atmosphere a "exclusivity" vibe that feels like a throwback to less inclusive times.
My husband and I had a beautiful dinner for our anniversary. We absolutely loved the appetizers, as well as our delicious meal. Our server was Lisa S. She was very knowledgeable, professional, courteous, kind, and made us feel so at home. We will definitely return. Very lovely evening. Thank you so very much!
Where the food was excellent, I found the lighting not quite bright enough. I asked for the dim lighting to be brought up, but I am afraid it didn’t happen. Our waiter was a bit gushing and the service was a bit slow at times. But we did have a very enjoyable evening with an excellent bottle of wine.
Dinner at Tutti Magna was not Ias I was expecting .We were seated in the corner ,on my right side I was facing a ladies bathroom ,on my back was kitchen .A very busy area for table for four people .My housband talk to the manager to change our seat ,the replay was no .Food was disappointing too ,my pasta dish had a very heavy creamy sauce, with three shrimp and two brown looking scallops and it was cold .My sons Risotto was cold too and with very heavy cream sauce too.I will not go back or recommend any of my friends this restaurant.
We always enjoy dining at Tutti Mangia. The Chef is excellent, his soup creations are really great. It was a Pumpkin soup and it was excellent. The bread is always tasty and the specials are usually your best bet, fresh and original. Looking forward to our next visit with Kathleen, our favorite server. She really knows her wines!
Came here to celebrate my birthday with my siblings! All of our dishes were delicious and the wine choices were great! Have been to the happy hour here as well on a previous night ~ bartender, Phil, was very accommodating and does an excellent job serving cocktails and knows his wines...we will definitely return!!!
Had a great meal at Tutti Mangia. From the start the service was great. Front desk opened the door for us and sat us straight away even though we were 15 mins early. We were asked if it was a special occasion (which it was) but nothing came from this so I was a little confused why they asked. Our meal was delicious with generous portions I couldn't fault it and all through our meal the service was great. It's a little expensive but I wouldn't let it stop me returning for a special occasion :)
