The concept is built on a made from scratch menu featuring a modern approach to classic and contemporary American favorites with a farm to table approach, utilizing fresh seasonal foods with sustainable resource"s protecting our guests and environment. The flavors will be clean and complimentary to all of our preparations sprinkling in organic foods and house-made spice blends. All desserts will be fresh and made in house.
We will offer classic and forward cocktails of today using fresh squeezed juices and house infused liquors with an extensive but complementary wine list.
The service will be professional, gracious with a memorable casual elegance.
We had a fabulous dinner for Mother’s Day! The menu was wonderful, appetizers over the top, and our steaks and salmon were just delicious. Our sweet server was so lovely, we will definitely be back!
Very good experience. My only critique was getting a prime rib which was cooked medium well instead of medium rare.

My second visit. I ordered the Price fixe ribeye with parsnip mashed potatoes. The steak came rare as ordered and needed no adjustment in salt or pepper, a rarity for me. The steak was tender and flavorful. I would rate it in the top ten. Julie had the shrimp risotto and did it was some of the best she'd had.
The bananas foster was great. Ice cream served over a cake with the usual whiskey sauce. A great cap to the dinner. They gave a fair selection of single males but I was disappointed they did not have a listing of liqueurs and had to rely on the owners memory.
Now, service could use some work. The staff are obviously earnest and hard working but lack training. A dinner house needs style that is led by staff attitude and experience. I think if the owner (who lends a hand everywhere) wants a first class dinner house be really needs to bring in someone to properly train his staff.
In the meantime, we will keep coming here for dinner because we like the place overall. It's one of the real gems here in Old Town.

The ambiance and service were top notch. The complementary rolls and the Parmesan fries appetizer were amazing. However, my husband, daughter and I all ordered the filet mignon and were very disappointed. My daughter’s filet was fine bit my husband”’s filet was over cooked. Plus his and my filets tasted like sirloin - flavorless and tough to cut. Very different from my daughter’s. We notified the manager who argued with us and insisted they buy quality meat (“a step below the best”) and didn’t discount the bill at all. We spent over $200 and my husband and I didn’t even eat.
Great service, friendly staff, really good food. Our table was ready upon arrival.

Food takes well over 45 minutes to get. Super slow. But staff was nice
Waiter was charming. We did a $5 split but the portions of the sides were quite small. 4 asparagus and about 1/3 cup or less of potatoes. It’s all we needed, really. Fish portion was huge and flavor was quite delicious.
We’ll be back, wish you and OPH had lattes. We had the bananas foster.
It was Valentine’s Day. The reservations were made thru open table. I was called by phone two times to confirm. We arrived exactly in time. We were seated at the WORST table in the place. The prices were very high. It felt like we were ordering high end food at IHOP. It was noisy and unpleasant. Geez make an effort people! You knew we were coming! We were seated by the kitchen and a door to the patio which waiters were going thru constantly and letting cold freezing air in. We asked to be moved. We were rudely denied. We ate our salads and left because we were miserable. We had sharp words with the manager who was rude and curt. We’ll never return. We see why they were the only restaurant with $30 entrees with availability on Valentine’s Day.
Prime rib was dry, tasteless and tough, to top if off it was an expensive entre.
Food was amazing and the bananas Foster is the best I've ever had.

Waiter forgot our order and forgot to come back and check. Manager came over to check but just blamed the waiter. Food didn’t come for 1 hour and 40minutes!! No compensation was offered! So sad because this was a favorite of ours😪
Want to thank the restaurant manger and wait staff as they did an outstanding job with both the service as well as the excellent food. We will be back in the near future for more!!

Service was excellent and the food was also very good. Everyone in the group(5 people) thought it was great and would return in the future.
Had a beautiful New Years Eve dinner with friends. The atmosphere was lovely, the service great and the meal was delicious. We will be back.
My husband and I ate here for NYE and I’m so glad we did! The staff was very friendly (I think it’s a family owned/run restaurant). We both ordered the filet and it was amazing! My mouth is watering just thinking of the herb seasoning again. We will definitely be going back!
I enjoyed our first visit to the Tustin Grille. I checked the menu online before we went and we decided dining here would be within our budget. Unfortunately, it was New Year's Eve and there was a limited holiday menu and the prices were significantly higher than those online. Our meal was good. It was not outstanding. It was not anything I would go back for but certainly there was nothing to complain about. Our bill was much higher than I anticipated but we enjoyed our evening and the service was very friendly and very attentive. I would certainly be open to returning.
Very noisy bar, untrained staff, blah facilities. Will not go back.
Idea for owner: the bar seems to have priority so turn the whole place into a “pub” serving quality small plates prepared by what seems to be a competent chef.
Food was delicious; however, service was slow and our dinners did arrive at the same time. We had to wait over 10 minutes for the last two entrees to arrive.

One of the best steaks I've ever had. And I love that they serve an alternative to mashed potatoes, parsnip potatoes.
First time visit overall very impressed. Enjoyed the outside seating for a quiet first date. French dip and salmon salads were both great, service outstanding, manager checked in 2-3 times insure all great. The only draw back is they allow smoking in the patio, but even that would not stop me from returning.
On a Thursday night, the bar was crowded with about a dozen loud middle aged guys who made so much noise, the almost empty main dining room was not pleasant. Food was good but slow for an empty restaurant, service was good, but the noise level is hard to take.
Tustin Grille got good reviews, so I decided to take my husband there for his birthday. The food was good, he had the salmon and I had the sea bass. The taste was good and the presentation was nice. The server and her helper were extraordinary. The restaurant could be a little more updated, but that was a minor.
The bad part was that the bar is there as you first walk in and the only thing separating you from the bar in the dining area is a partial wall and glass panel. The bar patrons were noisy and I do not understand why there has to be televisions tuned to sports in every daggum restaurant. In the bar fine, but then make the bar more closed off from the dining area.
Tustin grille was amazing as always, never disappoints. Great food, everything was fresh and delicious. Wonderful service and the wait staff and owner checked in on us appropriately, offered suggestions and were all around great. Truly somewhere everyone should try. Good wine list as well!
Food was okay nothing special at all. The chicken risotto was pretty bad unfortunately.
Fantastic food and great service! The New York Peppercorn Steak was amazing, one of the best I’ve tasted and I have been to plenty of pricey steak houses. We will be back sooner than later. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for great food.
Excellent pork chop! Friendly service! Owner spent extra time at our table discussing some of the special events the restaurant holds. We will definitely go back!

It was our first time going to Tustin Grille and everything we ordered was amazinggg! My husband had the salmon and I had the seabass. We also had bananas foster for desert. We will be back for sure!
Very nice neighborhood restaurant. Nice menu, food was very good but a bit pricey.
I just wanted a good meal. I saw the pricing before I left and I was expecting Something delicious . It’s a small place and there where three or four tables with people. We ordered dinner and it took 45 minuets to come out. The sea bass was over cooked and the filet that they blamed the wait on was under cooked. Terrible chief or probably cook. The quality is nowhere near the price.

This place is in a sleepy part of Tustin, but don't let that fool you! Some of the best food you can find, cooked to perfection, and prepared perfectly. They work from either a regular menu or the pre-fix menu, but all offer great choices and tasty food! Good wine selection as well, this place was a nice choice for a local special night out.
Food was very good, the only issue we had was the server forgot to order our appetizer and our food came out a little to quickly.. timing is important for a higher end dining experience. Server training needs work.
