My filet was delicious as was the extra sauce they gave me when asked. My caesar salad was also quite nice. I didn't have room for the broccoli which they provided since I couldn't eat or didn't like any of the other side items they offered. I would have ordered the onion rings but something was broken and they couldn't offer any fried items. I think they need to add a chocolate torte, mousse, or cake to their dessert menu. I do think paying $40 for a filet is on the high side. The service was excellent and the ambiance was lovely.
We come here often for brunch and are never disappointed. The food is really good and the service is as well.
Bad service, not good food, let them know we were celebrating a birthday through open table and did not acknowledge it at all. Overall rude and SUCH a waste of money. Really sad I listened to all the good reviews. And I’m not sure how they even have good reviews?
Consistently delicious, creative cuisine. I’m never disappointed with this restaurant, which is why I frequently eat here and it remains my favorite restaurant in northern va.
Menu was balanced and included something for everyone. Good wine and the food portions were adequate. Overall the service was good but I felt the prices were too high and the noise level was above expectation.
this restaurant has delicious food, great service, wonderful ambiance
My family has been coming to Tuskies since they opened in 1985 and we love it as much as ever! They do birthday celebrations like no one else with special menus tucked into take home wine glasses filled up with candy, and of course, great food. We've come to love it even more (if that's possible) since our favorite waiter, formerly at Eiffel Tower Cafe, has joined the staff! Never had a bad meal or experience. I'd give it ten stars if I could.
Awesome. It was our anniversary and we had menu's with happy anniversary printed on them, we were seated in a cozy quiet corner, the service was great and the food outstanding. As an added surprise, we got our menus rolled up in wine glasses filled with candy to take home. We try to eat here at lease 2 times a year for special occasions and meet friends here other times.
Food was very, very good and service was great.
The food was good and interesting. Many choices, nice dining area,we were in the old Mill part of the dining room. All four of us ordered different dinners and each was pleased with what they got.
The wine and cocktail menu had something for everyone's taste. We would all return for another meal.
The Caeser Salad was underdressed and tasteless. The reuben sandwich had a peculiar taste and sparse for $15. The sauce on the eggs benedict had too much pepper.
Waiter was amazing
Food was great!!
I am not sure what's happened to this once-fantastic restaurant. It's still a nice space to dine, and the service is very good. But aside from the amazing bread and the excellent oysters, the last two or three meals we've had there (yes, we keep coming back in the hopes that 'this time it will be different') have been just okay. This last time was especially disappointing. I got both the salad special and the entree special, and both were equally sub-par. The salad sounded amazing -- fresh goat cheese, strawberry vinaigrette -- but it was ice cold, had zero flavor except for the two or three bites that actually had the goat cheese and dressing. The entree special -- venison -- was WAY undercooked (I asked for medium, and the majority of the cuts were barely cooked. One was completely raw and ended up taking that one home to my dogs! Moreover, it was not seasoned at all that I could detect, and though many dishes at Tuskies are drowning in too much sauce, this dish had no sauce whatsoever. It was the most expensive, most bland chef's special that I can remember ever eating. Just really disappointing. I don't know if we'll ever come back.
LOVE this place! I cannot say enough good things about it! I've been there twice and am making plans again!
we were looking for a place to have lunch, and after reading reviews in the Loudoun Papers, decided to try it. Glad we did. Food was very good, and the service was outstanding. Drick was an outstanding server, very attentive and answered all our questions. His recommendations were spot on. We will be back.
We visited Tuscarora Mill for my Birthday dinner and Bad the most wonderful time.
The service was outstanding and we all, also the Kids, loved the food.
What can I say, everything was excellent. We were greeted with a warm reception, enjoyed tasty food and were waited on by an excellent staff. Looking forward to going back!
Food was excellent and service was great. Very pricey, meal for four over 190.00 dollars with nothing special and no alcohol.
We went for Easter and we were very happy with Tuscarora Mill
Spent a nice Easter Dinner at Tuscarora Mill and as usual was very pleased with the atmosphere, the food, the service etc. A good value too for what you get. I think our waitress was Angeline and she was excellent. She was there when we needed her and not, when we just wanted to enjoy our meal. Nothing is worse than a waiter/waitress constantly popping in. Angeline had a great sense of when to check. Very enjoyable meal.
There are no words to describe what a great restaurant it is. I always enjoy dining with you. Love the food and the service.
This is not the place to go on special occasions like Easter. They don’t have a handle on how to manage big crowds. So even though you (2 of you) have a reservation, they are so anxious to get big family groups seated they ignore you long after your assigned time is up (so why bother reserving). Too pricy for mediocre buffet food. They said you could order off the menu but when you get there it turns out you have to sit at the bar to do that.
Holidays can be hit or miss at restaurants. But, we had a very good experience on NYE so we came back for Easter brunch. We were not disappointed. Although, reserved seating was running a little behind, the friendly service and amazing food made us quickly forget the short wait. We will come back for future holidays!
Easter Brunch was excellent. Seated promptly even though restaurant was obviously very busy. Brunch buffet was very good and service was excellent. Great brunch for holidays and special occasions.
I've heard this is the best Easter Brunch in Northern Va and our experience certainly backed that up. Many different foods in the buffet...all of which are top notch. The beef was so tender they don't even give you a steak knife... it's just not necessary. Many desert selections as well. Even with everything, they still found a way to make it not that heavy. Wait staff is impeccably polite and attentive. Just a great experience.
We've been to Tuscarora Mill a few times over the last year. This visit was the occasion of my mom's 76th birthday. She hates to go out but really loved this place. They have great service and they really made her feel special. The food is so fresh and carefully prepared. We all had a great time.
We had great food and a great server! Visiting from Pittsburgh pa
Hadn't been to Tuskies in a while and definitely enjoyed our dinner! We had the delightful and efficient French waiter who I'm glad landed there after the local French restaurant closed. My husband enjoyed a lamb special and I had the ever yummy filet mignon and a nice flight of red wines. Was a lovely meal - delightful food, drink, service, and ambiance!
Had a Birthday Dinner and the restaurant treated this as a special occasion which was greatly appreciated. Our meal was very good but not exceptional and too salty. Excellent ambiance and service. Probably will not return
We hadn't been to Tuskies for a while. The menu seemed to have more variety than we remembered. The weather was cold and gloomy but it was so cozy to be inside the beautiful garden room. The food and service were absolutely top-notch!! We confidently recommend Tuskies to anyone looking for great food and ambiance.
we go to Tuskies frequently, always excellent innovative dishes and outstanding service.
Fairly quiet restaurant with nice lighting; Not too bright or dim. Noise level was good but we happened to sit next to a table with a quite obnoxious guy who really liked the F word. Just a bit of bad luck. The food and wine was pricey, but tasted excellent. Girlfriend got the smoked chicken penne pasta which was so unbelievably good. It's on my list when we go back. Nice place for a special occasion or just a nice meal. You'll spend a few extra bucks, but the food will be good.
Absolutely fabulous dinner. Great service. Have been twice and it gets better each time.
Food was excellent! Very nice restaurant. If you’re looking for a nice place for a special occasion this was perfect!
Delicious as always. Wonderful server! Tuskies continues to be the leader in fine dining in Leesburg.
Tuskie’s never disappoints. Quality of cuisine, professionalism of staff, ambiance—there is a reason it is the BEST restaurant in Leesburg!
Anniversary dinner. They were so nice and service was super. Ask for Dre! Henry was so kind and friendly. We got glasses full of candy to take home. Really nice treat. So glad we picked them for our special day. Thanks to all who made it great!
An exceptional restaurant for Sunday brunch and special occasions!
Tuskies is the best restaurant in Loudoun County hands down. Johnny and Lynelle are amazing hosts, and Marco has a wealth of knowledge on wine and spirits. They are simply the best in the biz. The service staff is always outstanding. It is my husband's and my go-to place for fine dining and just having an all-around great dining experience.
