An exceptional restaurant for Sunday brunch and special occasions!
Tuskies is the best restaurant in Loudoun County hands down. Johnny and Lynelle are amazing hosts, and Marco has a wealth of knowledge on wine and spirits. They are simply the best in the biz. The service staff is always outstanding. It is my husband's and my go-to place for fine dining and just having an all-around great dining experience.
Great food and service as usual.
We had a great meal. Both mashed potatoes and scalloped potatoes were bland, but chicken, scallops, and veggies were excellent. Our server lost the box of leftovers so they made a whole new meal for me to take home. It was just as good as the first one.
When we originally got married, we had our reception at the restaurant and they celebrated us by providing a personalized menu with our married name and gifted us with wine glasses for the occasion.
I recently booked my husband and I's anniversary lunch/brunch on St. Patrick's Day. It was a pleasant surprise to know that they still put in special touches like personalizing the menu. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable. The food was delicious and arrived to our table hot and at a reasonable time.
We would gladly visit Tuskies again, and not just for a special occasion.
We weren’t seated in the main mill area and we were a bit disappointed in that. Otherwise it was good.
What a beautiful lunch to celebrate a very special friend’s birthday. They treated her like a queen!
The only negative was the sea bass...very bland, a little chewy, and no flavor whatsoever.
Food and staff are both above average. The Mill never disappoints
He had a great time celebrating my husband's birthday, while tasting delicious dishes. I love your desserts, they are really well done, with the finest ingredients and care.
Tuskies was the perfect restaurant for a birthday celebration. The food was delicious, lovely atmosphere, and they went out of their way to make the meal, and experience special.
Thanking a neighbor
Family Brunch! Very nice!
Outstanding selection for brunch. A bit pricey but worth it for a special occasion.
Everything started great then it went a little downhill . Jalapeño cilantro margarita was amazing I ordered three appetizers to try the oil Easters mini tacos and fried green tomatoes were amazing. We arrive 20 minutes early for a reservation and got right in the ambience was wonderful the server was Cheerful and with the exception of having to check his notes a few times was very knowledgeable about the menu. So $200 into the meal we decided to get desserts and coffee, and well and that’s where it began to go down fast. The restaurant definitely picks up after 630, so servers were scarce at that point in attentiveness . Our espressos came out before our desserts and the coffee took 15 minutes to hit our table. It was hot and tasty but the whole point was to eat it without dessert. I finally had to flag down a manager to inquire about our dessert he then had to prop the runners to go get desserts but at that point the coffee is empty and started to take away from the whole experience at the beginning . So a few minutes later our three desserts finally arrives, only to have our server finally show up minute before and said he’ll go check where are desserts are ( now 20 min in) Of course no sooner than he walks away they finally bring them out, but no offer to refill our coffee or I should say replace because now what remains if not gone is cold and we can’t drink it with our dessert. Usually after dessert and coffee we have a few cordials and a nightcap, Instead of spending another hundred dollars on drinks with the possibility of having to wait entirely too long we opted to go ahead and punch out and leave him and spend our money a little closer to home . So despite the great ambience and what I would say is a Very good meal, It was all overshadowed by the event at the end of our meal . And our new gas that we brought for the first time enjoy their meal but on the ride home could only speak of The delays at the end. So a birthday fail, to bad!
Oysters on the half shell and mushroom soup to start. Very, very good. Shrimp & grits with a Virginia twist. My wife loved it. I had duck breast which was a special treat. Will go back in the future. Price range makes this a special occasion night out. Service was outstanding from our server (Trent) and his coworkers who all pitched in and were premium. You are hiring great people! Thanks
Great atmosphere and great food.
This is a beautiful restaurant with a unique interior. It gets pretty busy so it’s not a quiet place if that’s what you’re looking for. It does have excellent food options, and in our experience, great service. My husband and I went here for an impromptu date. We enjoyed our time there and it’s probably a new favorite spot for us for special occasions. We are giving this restaurant an overall score of 4 because we were seated right behind the host’s desk and were constantly interrupted by the noise they were making. It made the whole experience less than perfect - much like being seated next to the kitchen or the bathroom, high traffic and constant interruptions. It’s a very unlikely seat to get so we were just unlucky. Food and service are a 5.
Excellent...was a special occasion (birthday), and the waitress was fabulous.
The service was excellent and they allowed me in just before they opened to do some work before my lunch appointment arrived. Really nice people and the food was enjoyed by all three of us.
First time getting placed in a back alcove. Very bad acoustics that did not make for a good setting for a serious business discussion.
It is well worth the drive as we live about 45 minutes away. I have had business lunches here on various occasions and we often visit here for a special occasion. We have recommended to friends and everyone has always had a positive response. Service has always been very good and the food has never disappointed.
I took my two grown daughters here for a birthday lunch. It was a very pleasant experience. Never felt rushed.
Food was excellent and cooked to perfection. Service was exceptional. Highly recommend.
Loved the restaurant & would go again. On Open Table we stated it was a birthday occasion (party of 2). It was a non-busy time. The birthday was not acknowledged nor did we bring it up. Not sure if Open Table's fault or the restaurant's fault. Restaurant hard to find (it says "Market" or "Mill" or something on the big sign. Only next to the door is there a sign saying the restaurant name, but it's not prominent and the cars parked in front cover it up. When I walked in, there was no one to greet me after waiting a bit. It was a 2pm lunch on a Sunday and it was not busy at all. Finally I just walked around and found my sister already sitting down. I wasn't even 100% sure I was in the right restaurant. At the front desk there were business cards for the bar or something that had a completely different name.
Tuskies has been our go-to spot for years. If you want excellent food, ambiance, and to feel pampered, this is it.
Wonderful brunch for my son's birthday.. Tuskie's is a family favorite.
The restaurant itself was beautiful however we won’t be returning. Specialty cocktail, appetizer and main courses were awful. Dinner consisted of a $42 steak that looked and tasted like a TV dinner - from the steak to the mashed potatoes. Also never met a crab and artichoke dip I didn’t like....and it was terrible. Service was great - our waiter was kind and removed my drink off the tab when he noticed I didn’t drink it. Apple Crumble was the highlight of the meal. After driving 30 mins to get there and spending over $100, we won’t be back. Incredibly surprising given how many people I know have raved about this place.
I have never been disappointed with Tuskies. Their is always stellar and they have th best wait staff.
We haven't been to Tuskies in several years having been out of the area for a few years, we were disappointed that Chef Patrick was no longer there - as soon as we had some of the food, we knew that a change had occurred. Such a lovely venue but miss the Chef :(
This is the second time we have visited the Leesburg area and the second time for dinner at the Tuscarora Mill. On our first visit we thought the food was excellent and the service even more so. There was nothing to change our opinion on our second visit. This restaurant explains why it is that we go out for a meal.
We went here for a birthday lunch and it felt like a special occasion dinner. They treated me with so much respect from the moment I walked in! First they wished me happy birthday, then as we sat down there were custom menus printed with my name on them! At the end of the lunch, they gave me a wine glass filled with candy and the custom menu wrapped up. It absolutely made my day! The food was excellent as well. Highly recommend anytime but especially for a birthday!!
We sat at the bar. It was quiet and we had a lovely dinner! Can’t wait to return.
Pleasant evening with friends in the heart of Leesburg, this place is IT. Everything was perfect (especially on a rainy day): food, ambiance, wine selection. Especially enjoyed filet mignon with and butterscotch bread pudding, oyster appetizers were ok.
We drove an hour from PA to celebrate my husband's birthday. Our reservation was for 5:45 but we arrived early, and they gave us a table right away. Service was excellent, Drake our server, was courteous but not pushy. We would recommend it to friends.
My husband and I hadn't been to this restaurant in years. We decided to give it another try as years ago it was very dated the decor and the food wasn't very good. We were so surprised at how upscale it has become with the linen table cloths. The food and service was amazing. We will definately be back. We both ordered the trout and it wasn't dried out and very flavorful.
We enjoyed our dinner at Tuscarora! We had our 2yo grandson with us and the service was excellent. They brought his order quickly, which was great; although we then waited almost 20 minutes for our food, which wasn't great since he was done and wanting to explore. We had the beef fondue appetizer, excellent; the pork dish, the crab cakes, the scallops and beef and the creme brulee, all excellent. We would love to go back without grandson for adult meal; the bar looked like a good time too!
Service by friendly, energetic waitress. Chilled salad and hot delicious entrees served in timely manner. Table location in quiet corner--all very nice.
Since it was a friend’s birthday, she got to choose the restaurant. She had raved about their Corn Chowder. It was tasty but on the thin side, broth wise. Overall, the selections were good. The service, however, was wonderful. The birthday lady was recognized in a fun, grown up manner, no group clapping or singing! Overall, a nice time was had in a warm, comfortable environment.
Tuskies is outstanding in every way!
