We enjoyed our dinner at Tuscarora! We had our 2yo grandson with us and the service was excellent. They brought his order quickly, which was great; although we then waited almost 20 minutes for our food, which wasn't great since he was done and wanting to explore. We had the beef fondue appetizer, excellent; the pork dish, the crab cakes, the scallops and beef and the creme brulee, all excellent. We would love to go back without grandson for adult meal; the bar looked like a good time too!

Since it was a friend’s birthday, she got to choose the restaurant. She had raved about their Corn Chowder. It was tasty but on the thin side, broth wise. Overall, the selections were good. The service, however, was wonderful. The birthday lady was recognized in a fun, grown up manner, no group clapping or singing! Overall, a nice time was had in a warm, comfortable environment.

I went here for my wife’s birthday dinner. I made a reservation on opentable 2 hours prior to my dinner time. We got to the restaurant and found parking in front of building. We waited 15 minutes past our reservation time. Finally seated and the wait staff was very attentive to my wife and my 5 year old son. My family enjoyed the fresh bread! My wife and I shared dozen fresh oysters that they Individual plates. Delicious . My son got a fresh fruit cup which he loved along with the chicken tenders, fresh broccoli and French fries. My wife ordered and loved the shrimp and grits. Best we every had ! I ordered the grilled beef and scallops. Very good scallops and tender beef... vegetables were very fresh and tender . For dessert we split the berry cobbler . Everything was so excellent and would highly recommend this to anyone but be will to spend a little more if you buy alcohol . Best mojito I ever had and wide range of wines to choose from.

I've been a happy customer of Tuskie's for over 25 years. I have celebrated many, many things at this fine establishment and they never, ever let us down. I was lucky enough to celebrate my mothers 82nd birthday there on Sunday and it was to date, the most memorable date I've ever had there. They were overly accommodating to me and my mother, and made her feel so special. We got the table she loves, they fussed over her, she had everything she could have wanted and so much more. Marco made the perfect wine selection for us for dinner, and we laughed, shared memories and held hands. The staff at Tuskie's is amazing, the service is always perfection and Jair made the evening very special for us. The food as always, was very good, but I'll stop there. It was not great, it was very good. There were shells in our oysters (sloppy opening), and my monkfish was a little overcooked (not sure how you overcook monkfish....) Again, very good, but not great. I used to live in town and was there every week, but now that I don't live in town, Tuskie's is a special trip and treat for us. I'll continue to go back again and again for the staff, the service and yes, the food. Thank you for making my mom's birthday so special!

Tuskie's Did Not Disappoint!

I planned a surprise lunch at Tuscarora Mill on Feb. 18th for me and my husband to celebrate Valentine's Day. It did not disappoint in every category: food and service were great; ambience was great and it was just a fun lively place to be at! The cocktails were done superbly and our appetizer of fried oysters as well as our main dishes were also excellent. I ordered shrimp and grits and my husband ordered a beef and pork sandwich (forgot the name of it but it was served with fries and was delicious). Will definitely return here. Exploring the grounds of the mill and historic Leesburg after lunch was also a treat.

We were here to celebrate three birthdays. We come often and are never disappointed. Even when it’s very crowded as it was Sunday, the staff was dvery helpful and the food is very good. We will be back as our family enjoys Tuscarora.

The buffet was extensive with lots of tasty things, however, there is a major hygiene issue there.

I observed a customer use the tongs to grab the cold cuts place them back in the middle of the meat where their hand had been spreading germs throughout the meat. This was probably due to the set up which lack adequate room to hygienically select the food and put the tiles back someplace other than directly on top of the food.

In addition some of the food was cold including the Szechuan string beans and the mushrooms which looked very delicious but due to the fact that they were cold and the hygiene issue I couldn’t partake.

Finally, while the cook at the omelette table was very professional the food going into the omelettes was exposed to flu virus and germs as the ingredients are overly exposed to customers in close proximity to them.

This place has a great reputation but they need to address the hygiene concerns—namely set up a buffet that keeps the food hot and bacteria out.

I took my wife here for our 2018 Valentine's dinner, and we absolutely loved it. The music, the setting, the staff, the food.. everything was perfect. They really take quality serious here at Tuscarora Mill. I highly recommend this location to anyone visiting the area!

Great restaurant. The food was excellent with a nice menu. The service was superb. The bar scene look good but did not to there, so can't be certain. I'd recommend the restaurant to others.
