My wife and I spent our first year anniversary at Tuskies and everything about this establishment was top notch. The atmosphere was great Dan (our server) was fantastic. The experience we had there had a direct affect on us remembering our first anniversary.
This was my first time here, and it was an amazing experience! The service was impeccable, the ambience was so beautiful and rustic, and the food was amazing! Thanks for such a great dining experience!
Unfortunately we had a large, loud party next to us. The food was ok. I had the Bison special. It was thin, but tasty. Served with just ok mashed potatoes and string beans.
Exceptional Lunch time experience. The food is consistently exceptional..the service is excellent.. and the ambiance is perfect. We and and recommend: Starters: Pork belly Tacos, corn chowder. For Entree's: Any and all sandwiches: my favorite The Barnyard.
Fantastic dinner and birthday celebration at Tuskies. Thank you for making us feel special!
They made our anniversary special with a special menu and wine glasses.
Great service and great food!
Amazing evening as always. Food was delicious. Mark, our server, was excellent!
Excellent service and food. One of the best seafood salads
Tuscarora Mill always (without fail) serves beautifully presented food that is a perfect 10!
My wife and I celebrated our 5 year anniversary and the experience was absolutely amazing. The Staff there are friendly and attentive. The food is always delicious. I look forward to having many more celebrations at Tuscarora Mill!
The Sunday Brunch is the best in Northern Virginia.
I love the atmosphere and the food at Tuskies. This resturant is always a pleasure to dine in. I would recommend Tuskies to anyone looking for America. Fare.
Tuskies was wonderful, as always. We met friends for dinner, whom we had not seen for more than a year. The server was exceptionally patient as we visited after dinner, continuing to fill our water glasses and check in with us just often enough. (Yes, I was watching to make sure there were plenty of empty tables while we lingered, so we didn't keep other patrons waiting or take a table that the server could have turned!) It was a lovely evening -- the only down side was that I had some trouble hearing the friend across the table due to the large group next to us.
Tuskies is a great place -- with good food. Very reliable. We had a lovely time - diminished only slightly by a rather indifferent server.
We had an excellent lunch at Tuskie's...good food and good service.
The food was amazing (soft shell crab), and the service was the best! Great date night restaurant.
Wonderful meal and excellent service...need I say more?
Tuskies is our go-to place whenever we want to celebrate a special occasion--and even when we don't!
Great Sunday brunch with family.
The food was excellent and many great choices. The ambiance is great but it is noisy. Our server was very kind but forgot or confused our drink order and other things a few times. It was no big deal but did cause some slow down of our order.
Great food great service
Went for lunch and enjoyed it very much. Would go back.
Fantastic experience! Can't wait to go back. They also did a wonderful job personalizing our special occasion. All four meals were top notch from appetizers through dessert.
The venison was superb!
My husband and I were away on a two day trip to wineries . We both had the flank steak and I had the pumpkin ravioli. The food was delicious! Our service was spectacular! Loved this place.
Arrived on time on Sunday, and our party of 5 was immediately seated in a rear sunroom that appers to be dedicated to groups of 4 or more. The waitress soon took our orders for drinks and gave us menus. A reasonable time later, she took and submitted our orders. The surroundings were pleasent; a basket of bread arrived during our family chat session. We all then ordered from the lunch menu, rather than go to the buffet. After that, we rarely saw our waitress. Helper-staff brought our food to the table, as another one periodically refilled our water glasses.
PRO: Overall, this is a great restaurant and relaxing place for a family or group get-together. There is no rush to finish up and leave. The food ordered arrives warm in a resonable amount of time. The lunch menu prices were VERY resonable. Our food, desserts and coffee only ran to $130 for 5 people.
CON: The food served to us was just OK or sub-par: nothing special about it. For example, the eggs benedict consisted of two small eggs placed on top of thin white toast covered with a ??-white sauce; also, the meat in the flank steak salad was undercooked (almost raw). Suspect the main chef was not around until dinnertime.
Soooo good. Went to brunch. Was seated immediately upon arrival even though it was 15 minutes before our reservation. So many choices. The fried chicken was seasoned so well and the shrimp and grits were savory and full of shrimp and sausage. I love this brunch.
Great night out at Tuscarora Mill. The food was delicious and the service was very attentive. Looking forward to going back.
As usual, excellent experience.
In town for horse show
Always good food and service.
Had extended family into town and wanted to show them our local favorite with locally sourced options. Delicious as always.
Excellent food, atmosphere and service. I have food allergies and they were very attentive.
Always a pleasure. Brunch, lunch or dinner. great food, presentation and a suits all menu.
Excellent. This place is a gem.
We really liked the ambiance, service, and attention to the little things like real flowers in water on the table. As someone else has probably remarked, the potato and leek soup was delicious. I'm really glad we tried it. My wife had the shrimp and grits (one of her favorite dishes) and thought it was very good - flavorful grits and tender shrimp. My son had the crab cakes and enjoyed them immensely. He thought the crab meat was "lumpier" than what he usually gets in a restaurant and he really appreciated that. I had the corned beef and cabbage special as it was St. Patrick's day. The first half was very tender, but the second piece of corned beef was a little on the tough side - but overall it was still good. I was a little disappointed by the chocolate cake as it was on the cold side, stiff and a little dry. Overall, we enjoyed our visit and would go back again.
Great atmosphere with a great wait staff. Buffet with omlete station was delicious.
Very nice lunch!
