Wonderful restaurant for a family dinner - good ambience, excellent staff attitude, comfortable and very good food
The food at Tuscany was excellent. The caprese was outstanding. The only hiccup of the night was we were not seated for 30 minutes although we had a 7:30 reservation. This was a bit frustrating but thankfully the food made up for it.
Good food, company and drinks.
Best Italian food hands down.
This is authentic Italian fare
Extremely pleasant, great food with
very attentive service, enjoyed our
time with good friends
Everything was outstanding hear from food to service. The only thing missed was the fact that they no longer have entertainment in the bar area. Which added nice ambience.
I love the Little Italy location, but this location had such slow service! Additionally, the bartender could not figure out how to make a cocktail with only two ingredients so the waiter just brought us the ingredients to make the drinks ourselves. Very strange!
Always good food. Try the Nutella crepe. You have to ask for it!!
Good consistent restaurant in the north suburbs. Much better than average food, highly reliable and enjoyable for years. Big fan.....they never disappoint.
My wife and I invited a couple of good friends to join us for Easter brunch.
I knew that were in for a real treat. The wife and I had been to Tuscany a number of times and we always enjoyed the food. I was looking for smiles from my friends for an Easter delight. And I got one! All were impressed and talked about adding Tuscany to "their list to dine".
Our neighborhood go-to restaurant - we love eating in the bar, having a couple glasses of wine and enjoying a great relaxing dinner.
A great place to get together with friends. Quiet atmosphere, dependable food quality, great service.
My wife and son and his wife gathered at Tuscany in Wheeling to celebrate our daughter in law's birthday. First we toasted with nice wine . For our entrees we had risotto, rigatoni with meat sauce and macadamia nut crusted sea bass which were all prepared to taste and delicious. Upon request, our server Danny brought a slice of cake with a candle and we sang "happy birthday ". Tuscany is a restaurant gen in the suburbs!
Thanks for a great dinner experience. We’ve been there before for other occasions and will definitely return
The pricing was a little bit high for a little cup of soup in a huge bowl $7.50
Food was outstanding.
Friends birthday. Portions huge. I’m not a blg Italian foodie, so I usual order appetizers. Grilled octopus very good, nicely grilled and charred. Has the beet salad, which was tasty, but I do believe they used canned beets, not fresh. Quite a difference. The Wednesday night half-price is a good deal. Would I go for dinner without that option? No.
Tuscany... always a great meal in a lovely setting.
The tables were literally on top of each other, the waiter serving soup stepped on my toe. The restaurant was drafty and I had to put on my coat. My wife ordered an shrimp and pasta dish off the special menu, it contained 2 shrimp and 2 mussels. Not special at all!
Fabulous as usual !!!excellent specials , great atmosphere and friendly service . Outstanding food , and the desserts are out of this world!!!
We just didn't love the food. The waitress really pushed the black sea bass as this incredible meal. Two of us ordered it. It was edible, buy nothing special at all. My husband got a cesar salad and said it was fair, I tried the pureed butternut squash that one of my friends had under her fish and it was not good. No one was particularly happy with the food. A bummer. It was all of our first times there, it had received good online ratings, but none of us will go back. There are just better options to eat at in the area.
Very enjoyable evening with excellent service! Always a pleasure.
Always a delicious meal delivered with excellent service. A great place for before theater.
The prices are a little on the high side, but it is so worth it. The quality of service is outstanding and the food was wonderful.
All 4 of us had fish entrees which were generously portioned, delicious and very fresh.
I dine here often because the food is good, the service is wonderful and I love think the price is fair for the quality and creativeness of the food.
We had been talking about going to Tuscany for long time. It's not so close to home but an easy Uber away.
We decided to sit in the bar. The service was outstanding. Our server split all of our items on separate plates tableside. She made our dining experience great!
Great night . . . Great food . . . Great friends!!!!!
All three entrees were disappointing. Sea bass in particular was not a quality fish Server was pushy and inaccurate when asked about serving size of appetizer. Poured water in partially empty cocktail glass and shrugged it off when told immediately. He failed to listen to type of wine when brand was stated and had to repeat multiple times to insure he got it right
Our bill was too high for the quality of the food and service
Would not recommend
The lasagna that was on special was to die for. The cheesecake was divine. I thought the Moscow mule was a bit over priced @ 13 tho.
Food was outstanding. Prices went up however.
The short ribs were quite good. The service was good in that he checked on everything since I cannot eat garlic, and because we wanted to use the $25 bonus for buying $100 in gift cards during the holidays.
Excellent food, excellent service! Great place. My date and I had a wonderful waitress who tactfully allowed us to talk while we sipped at our wine until we were ready to order. All the while, the waitress would check in every so often. The food was sensational! My date and I stayed way past the closing time and no one kicked us out. Overall, this is a 10-star restaurant.
Eventhough they brought the wrong entrée, they fixed it real quick. they did forget I wanted the dish spicy but will go back. Make reservation but I had to be persistence to get my table.
A table of six in the side room, only one server for the entire room. Half hour before she even asked about drinks. I dunno if she chose to wait on the whole room by herself ; if she did, she could’ve at least smiled every once in a while. If she didn’t ask to serve the side room by herself, then management should’ve staffed appropriately, especially it being Valentine’s Day. I enjoyed the calamari fritti and the grilled octopus, and for the main course I had the branzino con macadamia with butternut squash and asparagus and a side of spaghetti. I enjoyed my dinner, but my husband ordered the same dish and thought it was over cooked and had the texture of perch. I guess I don’t know the difference because the texture was fine to me! I intend to try the Restaurant one more time, but hubby has already decided against coming back. I’m sure on a quieter day it would be lovely there!
We sat in the quiet room and enjoyed our Valentine Date
Small tables. Very expensive. Have had better fresh Italian. Left hungry.
We love 💕 an item that is not on the menu, but they will prepare it, Chicken Aroasta, is amazing. Loved our dinner and so did our friends.
