Tuscany - Oak Brook Ratings and Reviews
First time visit and really happy with my overall experience. Food was great. Loved the garlic, olive oil and cheese mixture they provide you with bread. Waiter was very attentive but left us alone to stay a while and talk. We reserved a 5 pm dinner time on a Friday wasn't busy at all but by 6:30 started to fill up. It is a table only restaurant so can be noisy when it fills up but we didn't have any issues. Drank water and bus boy was refilling regularly. Will definitely visit again with family. Prices were what you would expect.
Tuscany is consistently great! We go for the veal and the service. We both love the mashed roast garlic with oil and Parmesan to spread on the Italian bread, which even with nothing on it it’s the best bread around. Always have live music on Saturday night in the bar. Good musicians and the people watching is interesting
We were sorely disappointed at Tuscany saturday night. Three of us ordered pasta and one person ordered fish. Everything was so bland, lacking any flavor. Also the description of my dish was wrong, they said it had pesto and garlic, it had none. It's extremely loud, the wait staff never refilled our water and was not attentive at all. At their prices, I expect more. We will never return, there are too many restaurants with delicious, flavorful food at much better prices along with better service.
The dining room was cold. Had to wear coat half the time we were there. It was New years Eve and ordered from special menu, only to find out later that we needed to choose other entrees because they ran out of the entrees on special menu. Bread was very hard.
Went to Tuscany for a family get together. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The restaurant was very full but not terribly loud like some places can be. The food was excellent and the menu had a wide variety selection of dishes. I chose the rib eye steak and it was done perfectly to my request. I would definitely come here again.
Excited to spend the evening at one of our favorite places. We were so disappointed in our server and his total lack of attention to service..we waited for everything from water to garlic and bread...and I mean waited! Food was okay.
Musicians were good but way too loud to enjoy our conversation and we were seated towards the back.
Have been going to Tuscany for years .. this was such a disappointment.
Tuscany has a great selection of entrees to choose from and they’re delicious! Their prices are reasonable. The staff is superb! I come here often. Sometimes with my husband other times with friends. The dining area is warm and inviting. The bar area has live entertainment and is a fun place to gather with friends.
The service was terrible which contributed negatively to our experience! I ordered Chilean sea bass which was good but by the time I received the broccoli I ordered instead of the potatoes, the fish was cold. We asked for a refill of bread and did not get it for 45 minutes. We asked for spoons and never received them so had to eat ice cream with a fork. I have eaten at Tuscany before and so was extremely disappointed this time around. The food was inconsistent and again, the service horrible! We spent a lot of money on dinner and expected it to be a much better experience!
Everything was as expected. The food was great, our server was very helpful and courteous. This Saturday evening just happened to be karaoke, and it did not disappoint. I don't know if they pulled some "ringers" out of voice lesson classes, but all of the karaoke was actually pretty well performed and not overly loud. Thank you to all at TUSCANY, I'll be back for sure.
The restaurant is so noisy you can not talk to a person sitting right next to you without raising your voice. The menu is nice and the food is good but the noise level is unacceptable.
I will not return and will not recommend. Too bad too because it is good Italian food without getting all tangled up in the traffic and horrible parking of the OakBrook shopping center
