Tuscany - Oakbrook Ratings and Reviews
We were welcomed warmly and service was prompt and attentive without being obtrusive.
The ravioli dish with sage was fabulous and everyone enjoyed their meal.
This is the second time I have invited friends or family and everyone enjoyed the evening.
Food was excellent! They accommodated my request for a meal that wasn’t on menu. My family loved their food we all tasted each other’s and each meal I was so good. Kudos to the chef!!
We had a great waiter he was very sweet nice and just great !! Very attentive
Sorry didn’t get his name but was a tall dark haired male waiter
Brought me a birthday dessert which was very sweet!
Can’t say enough!!!
got there-no parking near restaurant, had to valet. First we were taken to a table next to the kitchen, asked to be moved. our waiter kept disappearing. Husband ordered a Glenlivet neat.
Was brought a drink with water and lime juice( in a scotch?) got another but he said it still tasted funny. Asked waiter for more garlic. Brought bread but no garlic. Meals arrived. Food good. Live music was so loud it was had for conversation(and we were seated the farthest from the bar. Check arrived, we were charged for 2 Glenlivets. Waiter did fix check. Not really a very pleasant evening. Should have gone to Tuscany in Wheeling. Maybe they should staff better during parties.
Not very pleased with the 2 people that were working the front desk. Very rude but were quick to seat a couple with no re$elevation before us due to being slipped some cash.
They also pretty much force you to pay for valet parking since they block off ALL of the parking spaces except for a remote parking lot.
Overall it wasn't worth the price.
It's been a while since I dined at Tuscany. I chose it because of its consistency and distance from my home. I was pleased with my experience overall. Their pasta fagiole is one of my favorite soups, and that night it met expectations. I only wished I had caved to my thought to order 2 bowls! My cocktail order was perfect and I'm a little fussy here. All in all, good meal.
Service was very very slow. Ask waitress to split check 3 ways, she came back with double and triple overcharging 2 of the 3 couples. The noise level was not conducive to any type of conversation. Food was average. This use to be a great restaurant. Don’t know what happened to their service and quality of food.
I am Celiac and chose Tuscany as my choice for our wedding anniversary dinner because they had a very good brand of gluten free pasta. When I discussed my order with the waiter and alerted him to my allergies he told me they couldn't guarantee that the pasta didn't have soy in it (my other allergy). I asked to see the packaging to read the ingredients. He stated they didn't have any packaging. Turns out they changed brands. Not sure how they are receiving it and how the pasta is being handled with no packaging and it's potential contamination to gluten, so I left the restaurant. Very disappointed with Tuscany.
We went to Tuscany for our 21st anniversary. The food was wonderful. they have a great wine list and our server, Jose was very attentive. The band at the bar was fun and we were comped a beautifully decorated tiramisu dessert as an anniversary gift. I LOVE this place!!!
Really enjoy the Italian Food here, they have dishes we have enjoyed in Tuscany, Italy. The bar is enjoyable with live entertainment, we enjoyed hearing "Pop Culture" who provided nice mood music but allowed us to talk at our table in the bar. They have valet parking with easy access to the entrance, and the location is easy to get to in Oak Brook. We have been to Tuscany many times and suggest it for groups of friends as everyone can find a tasty dish they like.
While it was a bit chilly in the restaurant when we first got there 615pm. by the end of dinner it was comfortable, every table was filled. music was playing in the bar area. great Friday night out for a get together with girlfriends. Food always delicious.
Very good food. The service on this even was very poor. A long time for the food and the waitress was uninterested in serving. The music was a bit loud but nice as it was live music. If you are a regular here it is clear you get a lot of attention. If you are not interest level seemed low and disappointing. With that said food was good.
Very nice restaurant, good entertainment, food very mediocre. The food wasn't what I was expected based on your ratings and menu. Pasts was okay, definitely not fresh. It fit more of a casual Italian restaurant vs a high end restaurant. The service and entertainment helps the experience and shadow the mediocrity of the food.
We were there on a Friday, early evening. There was a light crowd in the restaurant. It was nice and quiet. My husband and I could hear each other talk and think. The staff was nice. The menu was unique, there were different types of ingredients, you didn't get the same old type of "Italian" menu. They had things that you wouldn't order everyday or make for that matter. Overall we enjoyed ourselves. We even had room for dessert which was delicious as well.
