Tuscany - Oak Brook
Tuscany has great food, good vibes, live music, and friendly staff. It is always a great dining experience.
Valentine’s Day dinner was great.
My husband and I had a Valentine Day dinner there this year. We haven’t been to this restaurant in quite a while, but it was still an excellent place for good food. The service was very good even though it was very busy.
Most importantly the food was excellent. We had calamari appetizer and main courses of gnocchi and melanzane. Drinks were also well done.
Finished off the meal with an delicious raspberry desert.
Service is also exceptional.
Tuscany used to be one of our favorite restaurants, but it had been a while so we thought we’d spend Valentines Day there. Unfortunately, the night was not quite what the way we remembered.
Food was good, nice menu for V-day. Service was poor. Salads never came, server apologized. Mistakes happen, but he rarely stopped by. Had to ask the busser to bring us a dessert menu. Just disappointing.
First time having lunch there. Dinner has always been great and they have the best octopus salad. The service during dinner time five stars but this time during lunch 1 star is being generous. I love this place and I would like to go there again but definitely during dinner. I hope they fix their service during lunch time.
Had reservations for 8:30,
We absolutely love their food. We made a reservation for 7:30 and waited 1.5 hours for a table. They overbooked? to run up bar tabs? That is a shame for such a great place to eat. We heard they are closing that location at the end of March. We hope they re-open somewhere else.
We had a 7pm open table reservation and were seated at 8:30pm. The restaurant over booked.
Lovely restaurant, great food!
I had reservation for 7 pm and unfortunately was not seated till 7:20 normally i wouldn't mind but this weekend I had musical to go which was starting at 8:30 and had too rush didnt had chance to enjoy it.
I have never wait that long with reservations.
We always have a great meal and the service is five stars!
Our dinner at Tuscany was fantastic only to be topped by the incredible service. Amy was our server and she was outstanding, we left feeling like family. Mussel appetizer & Scallop entrees were delicious. Amy recommended a special Jalapeno tapenade that we added to everything! WOW is all I can say, can't wait to go back!
We met friends we hadn't seen for awhile to dine with us at Tuscany's Oakbrook. Our server was attentive without hovering. We ordered the veal chop, white fish and risotto and all of these entrees were favorful, balanced and nicely presented. We will visit Tuscany again.
Disappointed there was not Chilean Sea Bass on Menu? Salmon & Tuna not Good Substitute.
Sherri the Server was Excellent.
We’ll miss Tuscany 🙁
Been going to Tuscany Oak Brook for over 20 years and have been very happy with service and food! Disappointed to hear that they might be closing in couple of months. I hope a new lease can be worked out or Phil Stefani can find another location near Oak Brook. Hate to lose girlfriend hangout.
Been there on a few occasions where food was excellent along with the service. I ordered the white fish grilled and requested no garlic just olive oil and lemon. When food arrived my fish was pan seared and very oily. I asked the server to bring me the fish grilled. Brought back cooked the same way! I said I wanted grill. He proceeded to tell me there was no more white fish and asked if he could bring me Salmon so I agreed. The salmon came I took one bite and it smelled bad! The other 2 ladies who had ordered said theirs was tasty. However the next day both were sick from the fish.
Arrived on a Saturday evening and the place was packed. After 25 years Tuscany will be closing their doors and many in the crowd could be heard reminiscing about all the years they've been dining here and just had to get back before it was gone. First thing we noticed was how extremely loud it was. The music coming from the bar area only added to the cacophony. We were seated promptly and greeted cordially by our server. After bringing us our wine he walked us through the menu and made excellent suggestions including the short rib ravioli and seared filet w/mushrooms. Both were delicious and plentiful. Then, our server disappeared. We're pretty patient diners and like to take our time but once dinner was finished we sat for about 20 minutes without so much as a nod or wave to acknowledge we were still there. Would have been nice just to have had someone offer us a cup of coffee or an after dinner drink. As it was we passed on coffee and dessert and grabbed our tab while we had his attention. If you're looking for a delicious, authentic Italian meal, and don't mind having to raise your voice to be heard above the crowd, this is the place for you.
So sad to hear you will be closing.
Thank you for years of service and providing great dining!
Please don’t close!
Great as always...
So sad to hear it is closing!
Not as good as it used to be. ServerAntonio was meh
food as good as the Tuscany in Little Italy.. hidden gem. Way better value than many of the similar restaurants in The Oak Brook shopping center.
Excellent food. Very good service and friendly atmosphere.
I really enjoy Tuscany (but must admit I had not been for over a year).
The food was very good at a great price.
I really enjoy having live music to hear and see with dinner so that made it all the better.
The service was terrific (I wish I could remember the name of the lady who had our table but she was great).
Excellent experience and I look forward to heading back (MUCH sooner than a year that is for sure).
The server came back only once, and too late. Servers should not be noticeable to customers while they are working. Someone walked into my chair. Things were dropped loudly in the kitchen. The food is only fair. I could spend less money for a truly amazing meal somewhere else. This food made both of us feel sick. I will not bother returning to Tuscany.
Live music Friday night in bar! Gluten free pasta available. Cozy family environment
Very authentic Italian food. The staff is very nice but the bussers are a little anxious to clear plates. Great restaurant if you're looking for fun energy but not a quiet romantic scene.
Ashley was wonderful to work with, she changed our table after we were seated so that we were in a quiet corner. She could not have been nicer.
And our waiter Laurlo(sp) was wonderful and did a great job. I always look forward to this restaurant.
Great meal... did not appreciate the rush to clear the table and taking our water before we were ready to leave
Great evening with 6 friends. Drinks, food, wine, service – all excellent. We requested family style so we could share multiple dishes and our attentive server, Aurelio, was all over it with perfect recommendations. My fav was the octopus but everything was wonderful. So glad we rediscovered this gem of a restaurant earlier this year. Thanks Fred for a truly fantastic night!
Seated promptly considering it was a Friday night. Liked our round table in corner. Beet salad portion size enough for two. Server and staff timing very solid
This is one of my favorite restaurants in the Oakbrook area. Food is errific, well-prepared and generally all special requests are honored. Great minestrone soup and the bread at the table with roasted garlic, oil and cheese is a wonderful starter. Their Tiramisu is terrific.
Went for New Year's Eve. Food was good and service was great. Band in the bar was also very good.
Excellent menu selections! Our server was wonderful. Couldn't come up with a negative if I had to. We'll be back.
We had an early New Years Eve dinner reservation for 6 people ... we were seated promptly and were not rushed at all ... and they were very full! The food was very good and the service was prompt and helpful.
Phenomenal as always!!!
The food was excellent.
