Pizza was soooooo good !
Nice but price was a little high. The atmosphere was very nice. Very pretty.
Wow, what a disappointment. I had gone to the original Tuscan Kitchen in Salem NH numerous times over the years so I assumed this would be the same. What a difference. This shows what rapid expansion can do to the detriment of a restaurant. The biggest disappointment was the short rib filled pasta. This used to be an amazing dish, pillows filled with shredded beef; I would not only order it but buy them from the market in Salem frequently, made the trip there just to get them. Well, now they are very very close to Chef Boy R Dee in a can. Seriously, same mushy textures, no discernible sign of shredded meat, super salty, pressed ravioli rather than those lovely pillow type envelopes they used to be. They were served cold, literally cold, so much so that the sauce had formed a gelatinous rim around the plate. The server did replace it but how do you not know a dish is completely cold, there seems to be no one watching what is leaving the kitchen and the staff clearly isn't trained enough to be aware. Just a bad dish in all ways. And there was something crunchy in them, maybe egg shell? The server brought my salad before the appetizer then when she brought it back it was clear it had been sitting rather than re-made, just a dish of very wilted kale. She forgot my companions Caesar completely, he never got it. His bolognese was OK, seemed to be missing the cream from the sauce and was more like tomato meat sauce but tasted ok and was hot so that was a bonus. The coconut ice cream was delicious but missing the macaroon that the menu said it came with. I suggest you pass right on by this place, it's not good and there is no pride with what is leaving the kitchen.
We made a reservation for 6:30 but wasn't seated until after 7. I reserved a high top table but did not get a high top table. My server was great and the food as awesome. This is a VERY expensive restaurant so be prepared to spend top dollar
We have been here many times and always enjoyed it. This past visit was disappointing. The waitress seemed very distracted, and the food was not hot, seemed like it had been sitting. We asked for extra bread but it never came. Our group had 4 cups of coffee and two cups of tea, and she brought one small container of cream for the coffee, but two containers of milk for the tea. Not a big deal, but just another example of lack luster service. A plain cannoli was served for desert, but we noticed another table had it with a strawberry and touch of whipped cream on the side, just a little extra touch makes a difference. Restaurant was comfortable and we did not feel rushed, but will not be returning. Lots of other choices in Burlington ,
Food wasn’t good and it came cold
Very expensive for what we have
Our Valentine's Dinner was excellent and our waiter was very attentive to put needs. We really enjoyed the experience .
We had a great dinner. Food was delicious. The salmon was moist (not dry or over cooked). The wine list was fairly extensive. Ask for the fireplace when you make your reservation its a nice ambiance in cold weather.
Only disappointment was I was really excited about trying the homemade tagliatelle with the truffles in the cheese wheel which is advertised in their commercial. Went on Valentines Day and was told they only do it as a special on Tuesday!??? Otherwise the food and service top notch.
Edson was an excellent attentive waiter!! He was there for us with our every need! He didn’t rush us and made sure everything was perfect! Thank you! Great job😊
We went for pizza on a Sunday evening and when we got there they told us they were ‘out of pizza’ ???
It was disappointing that this restaurant did not have the calamari appetizer AND did not have any chicken for any of the chicken entrees. How is this possible??? Who is responsible for the food inventory at this place. I don't understand it.......
Absolutely amazing! I took my wife there after we got married to celebrate, and again for her birthday this year. This place is the equivalent of Top of the Hub if not better!
Hostess was not welcoming, sat us in the bar area even with a reservation.. Food was served cold.
Great staff great experience!
Great service - went there for our wedding anniversary - though we were early - they honored our reservation. Great service - nice friendly staff.
Food was good. Server was awful. Won’t be back anytime soon.
Edson our waiter was very attentive. Wine was great. Food was excellent. Relaxing place. Will go again!
Food and service was outstanding. We enjoyed ourselves very much.
Good food as usual but I feel that when you book thru Open Table you don’t get the best seating locations. We felt like our table was in a walkway. It took a long time for dessert to come out as well. Great server. Ambiance is very nice.
Always enjoy Tuscan Kitchen. Love the open kitchen, the food is always good, fireplace in the winter is terrific.
While everything was great with the food and service every time I go there the bathrooms are absolutely disgusting.
My first visit may be my last one. Our waiter and observer were repeatedly asked for additional things but seldom received them. It was a Tuesday pm so not really busy.
I sent my steak back twice b/c they couldn’t produce a medium one. Both times it was presented blood red. Finally the server asked me to change to a different side. I chose the chicken with my salad and it was acceptable. Even though my meal was gratis I’m not sure it was worth the trip!
To console myself I had two VERY expensive drinks, and they were half the tab.
Great food as always. Service was quite slow as they had lots of large parties. Waitress was good nonetheless. It was very hot and stuffy in the area we were seated. Still a favorite local place.
Food was good, service was good, we had a few fruit flies flying around our table one landed in my wife's glass of wine. They replaced the glass of wine promptly but the flies were persistent. First time there it could be the last.
My Lunch was very good and our wait staff was excellent.
I made my reservation and wrote in the comments it will be for my son's birthday, we never get the dessert for it. I didnt care if they were going to charge for it, the only thing I was looking for was to make him feel we were celebrating his bday.
Also, he asked for a side of asparagus that he had to return because they were cold, they were supposed to be warm (I have to say they didnt charge for it), we paid for three people $276 + tip, so I think we would be treated better
Terrible service on what was not a busy night. The food was ok, server personable but slow. Would not recommend
Tuscan KItchen is a large space that has good service and food. There is convenient seating in booths for large family groups. The food was nicely prepared and served.
Great experience, great food, management takes food allergies seriously.
Top shelf service, great well prepared food, pleasant atmosphere, mature seasoned upper-tier wait staff.
We went for a happy occasion, and for the most part we enjoyed ourselves and the food. The staff was GREAT. Having said that, we went specifically for the "Pasta in the Parmesan wheel"... that was a huge disappointment. The show was entertaining, but the food was actually cold when we ate it. So that really was a let down.... and the dish cost $45 (basically alfredo sauce; the shaved black truffles could not save the dish.
The other dishes we order (beef carpaccio and spinach salad with sweet potatoes and brussel sprouts) were excellent. We all tasted the home baked biscotti's which were outstanding.
Always great food and great service!
Great atmosphere. Food is delicious. Wine and beverage list is impressive.
Good spot for date or group outing.
We had a wonderful dinner. Everything from appetizers to dessert was delicious. Services was great and the hostess was very nice!
I’ve been there for lunch before and it was excellent. But I was very disappointed with dinner last Friday night—it was bland. I was embarrassed because I brought two friends, telling them how wonderful my lunches had been. One of these friends also commented that his dinner was blah and unexceptional and that he wouldn’t be back.
We went with a group of friends. All the meals were outstanding. I had the Grilled Swordfish on Parmesan risotto. OMG. 10 oz piece of Swordfish, cooked to perfection. The meal looked like a cake but oh so good.
Service was pretty spotty. We asked for a ginger ale for my pregnant wife upon sitting down and 30 min later, it still hadnt been served. No one offered to take our coats before squeezing us into a four person booth with room enough for 2 large adults (which my friend and I are--our wives basically sat on our laps. The food was very good but the water refiller just stares at you and circles constabtly. The men's room was a disgrace.
Excellent food and service. Very relaxing and the noise level is probably one of the best managed ones I've encountered.
