Tuscan Grill - Fort Lauderdale Ratings and Reviews
Upon reservation we were not provided with the option to select the terrace. Upon arrival requested for terrace however was told we would have needed to request it at the time of reservation. Lower level terrace was completely empty yet hostess did not offer to sit us there. Overall left us with a negative experience and not inclined to return even if the food was good. It’s not the what but rather the how.
Don’t ever ever ever order Dover sole from this place they don’t have a clue as to how to prepare this dish but they do know how to charge $45 per plate I don’t care about price but when you present a plate like this with skin on not seasoned brought to a table beside you and then to watch it butchered and put on your plate is disgusting unprofessional And created the worst I need experience of my life I was sick for two days warning try this place at your own risk I will never return
The best carpaccio anywhere. Fantastic bucatini amatriciana. Varied menu...always outstanding. Other than the food, a big part of the experience is the best restaurant manager I’ve ever observed: Gabby. Be sure to say hello to him...you’ll be part of his “family” before the night is over.
Great experience. Really loved the patio. Service was a little slow but my wife and I were not in a hurry. Appetizers and meal was excellent. We had calamari, meatballs and shared a Rib Eye for dinner. The steak was prepared VERY well with minimal seasoning. We would go back.
Me, my husband and brother-in-law went on Christmas day since our families were scattered around the Country this year. It was our first trip and I found them by googling places open on Christmas. It was a wonderful surprise. Everything from food to ambiance. I have already recommended it to many people and will definitely go back. It is not a large place by any means but I think that's what made it even better. But they do offer both patio/sidewalk as well as waterfront seating. Plus you get to walk Las Olas after a nice dinner, if you so choose. It was all in all a very nice experience.
The food and service were excellent. Fresh, homemade pasta and excellent grilled entrees. The ricotta and pear ravioli was incredible and was recommend by our waiter. I do not typically like sweet dishes and feared that this dish would be a bad choice but boy was I wrong. And the veal chop was incredible. Nice evening with great service. Definitely returning.
Great meal. Our server Nazir was attentive and on top of things. The fried calamari had a light batter and the marinara with it a bit of a bite of spice. We both had the bucatini . Mine as the special with shrimp and my friend had his Amatriciana style. Dessert was the lightest ricotta cheese cake I've ever had. I've dined where Chef Luigi had cooked before but this is his best venture by far and manager Gabriel makes sure everyone feels welcome.
Met friends for dinner -we had a reservation. First table where we were seated was next to the Service Table. Moved to an outdoor table - much nicer for a warm evening. The service was good, but disappointed with the food. We have been there before, and liked it better. Nice location. Also, if you want Happy Hour prices for drinks, you need to go the bar - the server doesn't have Happy Hour prices - seems strange for a small place.
Service was excellent, as was the atmosphere...a bit of old school Italian mixed with a modern vibe. Bread was amazing, and salad special was excellent (bib lettuce with blueberries, strawberries, almonds, etc. Chilean sea bass special was very good, but the papparadelle was just ok--Found the ragu/sauce just ok. Very good wine list.
