This was our yearly Thanksgiving dinner out. Two of us had turkey and two had the prime rib. For this occasion it was a pris fixe menu with limited choices. All were excellent. We all agreed this restaurant's Thanksgiving meal is one of the valley's best kept secrets. Not crowded. Very nice.

This restaurant has gone downhill pretty bad in the last couple years. Had the breakfast buffet. Barely anything was above motel/diner quality. Interior still may look nice but you're quickly turned off by the bland and dry food.

We come here a few times a year for breakfast, this time it was for Fathers Day and we had a great breakfast and with that, came the outstanding service. We will continue to eat here.
I highly recommend for breakfast, the buffet is hot and they keep it up so that your not waiting for food. Come check them out, you will enjoy.

I have had breakfast here hundreds of times. Always fruit and cereal. My food choices don't lend themselves to dazzling, five-star cuisine. (I'm strict vegetarian. Non-vegetarian foods look attractive and well-prepared.) Service these days is good, and, even as a solo diner, I feel welcome.

This is the restaurant in the Hyatt Regency. We had a delicious dinner and a glass of wine each before attending a book signing at the convention center. Restaurant is an ideal location for this. But more importantly, the food is good, with healthy choices, and good value for money. I'd definitely choose this restaurant over those at other convention center hotels, and I would dine here again. Good service, atmosphere and quiet enough for normal conversations.

The Breakfast Buffet is now $24 and ordering an omelette with the buffet is now $2 extra. They have switched chefs and menus recently, and there is perhaps a slight dropoff in food prep quality. Still, service is great and it is a convenient option.

We decided to return for thanksgiving dinner this year in spite of some recent poor reviews. It was a fixed price menu with good variety. Service was attentive. The noise level was not dead quiet, but we were able to converse comfortably without raising our voices or straining to hear. This was important to us because it is a very social occasion. We enjoyed this place very much.

Excellent variety of food along with incredible service. I would recommend this for just about any type of dining occasion. We were given a private room which was ideal for a business meeting. The restaurant paid attention to every detail. Well done.

We had a reservation for a week, but when we arrived, we were told the wait for food (even appetizers) would be one hour because "the kitchen is slammed" - which isn't how reservations work. However, there were only about 5 parties dining in the restaurant - it wasn't even 1/3 filled. We were trying to make it to an event after, so we were concerned, but stuck because we didn't have reservations elsewhere or a car (we Ubered there.) The food did come after one whole hour of waiting, and it was mediocre. Not many vegetarian gluten free options here either, so all I could eat was a salad after all. (One hour to make a salad?!) Our server was not very apologetic or friendly either. I would not return to this restaurant.

This was one of the worst dinner experiences I've had. Something is seriously wrong with this restaurant. We arrived for my daughters Birthday dinner paired with a concert after at Levi's Stadium. We were seated promptly. We ordered drinks, food and thats where it all went down hill. It became very apparent that people who had been there long before use, were waiting for their food. In fact, looking around, no one had food. 30 mins past, two table got up and left without being served. Wait staff didn't have anything to say other than sorry, and it would be about 10 more mins to wait or the could comp us at the Taco bar. 25 more mins goes by finally our food arrives along with a few others, it was just ok tasting nothing special. Many customers were getting very upset, I felt bad for the wait staff....it wasn't there fault. No explanation at all for the delays of 1+ hours for food. Not a great birthday meal for my daughter, at least they knocked 50% off the meal. Never again will I return to this restaurant. We ended up going to In and Out after our concert....it was a much better experience.

We had a reservation at 5:00pm on Saturday 9/17 planning more than enough time to eat and be ready to leave in time for our show. We arrived at 4:45pm and our table was ready. We were promptly seated and within just a few minutes we ordered wine and an appetizer. At 5:35pm we had still not received our appetizer and were regretting having just ordered our dinner entrees. We asked if our app would be up soon and ten minutes later the pretzel sticks arrive at the table. This was the LAST time we even saw our server for more than THIRTY minutes until we flagged him down at 6:15pm ... dirty dishes still sitting on our table and still NO dinner entrees yet. We had to leave for our event and unfortunately we could not wait any longer. Less than two minutes later {hmmm how did that happen?} the server again magically appears with two of the dinner entrees but the two pizza entrees were a no show. I asked how much longer for the pizza and he responded "there are 15 tickets from the bar in the lobby ahead of you - it'll be at least another half an hour" - two people at our table would have to sit and wait another 30 minutes while the other two of us ate - NO! We politely declined our dinner entrees and asked for our check. At this point we had been in that restaurant since 4:45pm - waited 35 minutes for an appetizer and another 30 minutes for dinner that never arrived only to be told it would be yet another 30 minutes. We learned from talking to three other tables around us, all with the exact same problem, that there was only ONE small kitchen serving the entire Hotel - a 500 room Hotel and that includes room service, the bar and the restaurant. So, for those of us who took the time to make a reservation our orders fell behind the patrons sitting in the bar ordering off of the exact same menu. Dining at TusCa was one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had. $70.00 for a bottle of wine and a pretzel appetizer was NOT worth the hassle or the wait!

TusCA is advertised as an Italian Restaurant. It is not. The menu had pizza and one or two Italian dishes, but the rest was casual fare, e.g. a hamburger. What made this especially frustrating for my wife and I was the menu had little resemblance to the menu on their website. Prime example of bait and switch.

I selected TusCA because of it's close proximity to Levi Stadium. It started off ok with a party of eight in a semi private dining area., but went downhill from there. The food was just okay, the fish had a very strong odor. Service was disappointing; served soup without providing a soup spoon, and to top it all off the credit cards were charged twice. For this restaurant to be inside of the Hyatt Hotel is shocking. First and last time for me at this restaurant.

Service was slow considering the restaurant was only half full and they only had a limited menu (because the hotel was full)? It didn't make sense to us. The server did go out of their way when we asked for a steak for my mother (who had seen it on the menu the day before). BUT we were charged $38 for it.

My salmon was very good and my guest's burger good as well. When we made reservations, we noted that it was a birthday meal for our guest. We ordered dessert after dinner and then after we finished that and asked for the bill, another piece of cake was brought out. At that point we were full and ready to leave.

Wow, the 2005 Chateau d'Yquem is offered by the glass. Using the Coravin system which extracts wine from the bottle without pulling the cork and then replacing the volume with argon gas, that and other fine wines are offered by the glass in a rather impressive wine list for a hotel restaurant, and befitting of a fine dining establishment. I had the NY Steak and shrimp scampi and both were cooked to perfection. Yum Yum Yum. We also had the fried calamari and the fresh Ahi in lettuce wraps for appetizers, and both were excellent. We also had an excellent breakfast buffet the next morning. Absolutely loved the slo-cooked smoked salmon, which is far better than the inconsistent raw product they used to serve. Great variety of fresh fruit and danishes, and hot offerings of scrambled eggs, potatoes, bacon (all you can eat), sausages, country biscuit in gravy (some days have eggs benedict) and pancakes or french toast. They also make excellent omelets. Service by the breakfast crew (A, M, and G) is always great and friendly.

we have been going to this restaurant for years and the ownership changed we recently went back to see if they are still the same and they are not. the only reason we tried it twice was because of their server Mo. if he did not work there we would not have gone back. our last experience was not good at all. the food has gone down hill. the new decor is dark and dingy and the addition of the buffet station has taken away any elegance this place had. very disappointed and would not go back. Also no one ever answers the phone when you call. a huge disappointment.

When staying at the Hyatt, this is a convenient place to eat breakfast or dinner. The food is usually pretty good, but nothing outstanding. Salmon is fresh and prepared nicely, if they have a steak on the menu, it's usually good, traditional breakfast is also available and a great option with kids.

Any spot with a big buffet island in the middle of the room for $19 per person does not qualify for the "restaurant" moniker IMO. This is for convention goers at the Hyatt to pig out on sub-standard food dubbed "California cuisine". Will go back with the staff/team but not with the wife.

I had a reservation for 10, the hostess was lovely, but our waiter was not. He was overwhelmed and grumpy. The restaurant was not busy at all, but it took FOREVER...over 2 hours. Some of us got our food and finished it before other got anything at all. The food was fine, but it took painfully long.

Our party of three had Thanksgiving dinner there. My husband had halibut with tomato risotto. He pronounced it execellent. My friend and I each had the turkey dinner. I was impressed with the bread/cranberry stuffing and the perfectly prepared tiny brussels sprouts. I am fussy about brussels sprouts. Usually I set them aside because so many restaurants do not know how to prepare them. The pumpkin bisque and the chicken orzo soup were excellent. The salad was arugula sprouts with a cheese topping and dressing. It has been a few days and so I do not remember what the dressing or cheese were. The dessert table was eye-popping. We will definitely go back.

TusCA restaurant is the main dining facility for the Hyatt Regency Hotel, Santa Clara, CA. We had been given a very generous gift certificate (appetizer, main course, dessert, and non-alcoholic drink for two) but made the mistake of reserving on a football game Sunday. ALL roads to the hotel are closed during exit time from Levi's Stadium. It took us over an hour to drive ten miles from our house; the return trip took 15 minutes. The meal was very tasty and the service was good. We'll never go there again, however, during football season nor when there is a concert or other event at the stadium.

We enjoyed our buffet so much on Saturday that we came back Monday. Service by Arlyn was, as usual, exceptional. Pancakes and omeletes by Chefs Martin, Eric and Alfredo were wonderful. Lots of fresh fruits, danishes and buffet options including smoked salmon, scrambled eggs or egg whites, chicken and pork sausages, LOTS of bacon, pototoes, so much you can't eat everything.

First we were told anything off the menu would take over an hour even though they were 1/2 full. Supposedly it was because they had a big crowd at the bar outside. The menu was very limited. Our other choice was a self serve buffet. That had salad, bread, BBQ chicken, mac and cheese and a fish dish. We chose that option because we had a show in 90 minutes. The food was bland and the service was very slow. Would not go back.

Not sure how you can mess up Marghertia pizza but they did. Crust was bland and extremely chewy. Just didn't have good flavor (read that as no flavor). One other person in our party had the tortellini which she said was pretty good. The menu was very limited. Service was good and loved the hotel the food not so much.

Enjoyed another excellent breakfast at Tusca. Had had very so-so but pricey sushi in downtown san jose the evening before and eating at Tusca Sunday morning was very, very satisfying in contrast. It made me appreciate the consistency and value provided at this hotel restaurant. Great breads, pancakes, eggs and omelets by Chef Eric and wonderful service by Arlyn.

For a hotel restaurant, Tusca is GREAT. Always reliable, always very good to excellent; and always great service (thank you again Arlyn). After the Dead concert Saturday nite, we had a most relaxing and enjoyable late nite repass at Tusca's. The crab cakes were great and the New York steak well seasoned and perfectly cooked. And the chibata bread with the pate was outstanding. Breakfast the next morning was equally satisfying, perfectly cooked omelets, with fresh fruits, smoked salmon, chicken sausages, french toast, and very nice pastries. Chef Martin does a great job in keeping the consistency and quality of the kitchen at a very high level.

We so much enjoyed our breakfast two days ago at Tusca that we decided to do it again. We were not disappointed. Isabel the hostess greeted us by name, remembering us from other visits. Service was again its usual excellence by Arlyn, and the floor manager Tia stopped by to make sure everything was OK.. It definitely was. We gorged on fluffy pancakes, english bread pudding, chicken sauages, smoked salmon, great omelets, eggs benedicts, delicious pastries, and fresh strawberries and blue berries. Very nice job, chefs Eric and Alfredo.

Totally excellent service by Arlyn, and great omelettes, pancakes, and breads from the kitchen from Eric and Ernestol Service here iis always friendly, starting from the hostess to the servers and the bussers. Food selection for the breakfast buffet varies each day, but always with good choices. Bravo Chef Martin.
