Turquoise Grill & Bar
Our cuisine is made of a wide variety of heart-healthy fresh foods cooked daily.
The menu will satisfy all kind of taste with hot & cold appetizers, soups, salads, vegetarian meals. Top quality meat including our famous Lamb Chops and tasty desserts.
Toast a glass of fine wine or good beer with any delicious meal in a fine dining setting or enjoy a sweet evening with a couple of drinks on our beautiful patio.
Our selections from the HRW menu were wonderful, especially the Mixed Grill - a carnivors delight of tasty, moist, well spiced beef, chicken and lamb. My wife loved the vegetarian starter and lamb chops. Be sure to ask for Turkish Tea with your baklava. It's a perfect finish to a great meal.
We'll definitely be back for more!!
It was Restaurant Week in Houston so we had their lunch offering. Gyro and chicken with vegetables - very good. We enjoyed it.
It was wonderful. Great food. Great service. Excellent value. I will certainly be back.
Excellent food. Quantity is bit in the small side compare to others though.
I had the special and my husband had something off the menu. The food was wonderful. We did try to feta dip and probably wouldn't order that again because we were expecting a hot dip and it is served cold. Service was outstanding. We were going to a concert and we got served and out in plenty of time. We would definitely go back.
This restaurant is always empty and when dining there I understand why
Great value. Good place for lunch.
This is good restaurant but the Mother’s Day food felt a poor buffet quality, slow service, there was no silverware, no water, they ran out of bread and dessert, and added 18% tip for a group of four. I will not go there again
We dined here for Mother's Day. Being a last minute decision where to eat, they were one of the few restaurants taking reservations. The food was spectacular. Coming from Chicago and eating at lots of exceptional Middle Eastern Restaurants, this is by far the BEST I have ever had. Certainly they were busy, understaffed right after noon on a Sunday and on Mother's Day. The owner, his sister and brother were taking care of customers with smiles on their faces and were as attentive as they could be. Constantly bringing out more food as it ran out from the hungry cycle of guests. You could tell how hectic it was for them - and yet they were as pleasant as can be thru it all. Having been in the service industry in my past, I appreciate their grace, poise and ability to work thru such a busy time. Hands down, the food was incredible and we will be dining there again for sure.
Great atmosphere for Mother’s Day brunch. Wife and Mother-in-Law enjoyed it thoroughly. Hospitable staff, good service, great main course cuisines and salad/dessert buffet. Very relaxing atmosphere.
Food was excellent. Jim, owner, came by table several times to talk about the food and ensure everything was perfect.
The owner always stops by to chat which adds to the charm of this place. It's a favorite among colleagues and we enjoy conducting business dinners here. Food is fantastic.
We had a really enjoyable time. Service was very good, food was also very good. Certainly recommend to all!
Food was excellent. Would have a liked a bit better selection of wine/beer but the food was the star.
Great place with delicious food, it was my first time there and customer service was excellent. I will definitely go again to try other dishes.
We had trouble finding the restaurant. We called and Carlos our server came and found us and walked us back to the restaurant. I would call that excellent service!
Dinner and service was excellent and the live music was a nice surprise!
We really enjoyed dining here. The service and food was exceptional. We will be back. Highly recommend!
Incredible food, service and atmosphere! I certainly will return on my next visit to Chicago. Unique but also traditional Turkish cuisine. Great for small groups, dates and families. Do not miss this hidden gem.
Great lamb chops. Quiet, good service. Nice ambiance.
Outstanding food and service!! Authentic, high quality, all around amazing.
Food so so, bright lights, no ambiance, upset my stomach, won’t go back
Was greeted by one of the owners as we entered the restaurant. She was friendly, helpful and very nice. Food was well prepared, fantastic and plentiful. My mother was in town visiting from San Diego and had a delightful time. We will visit again and take our friends. We were there for the Sunday Brunch, which for the location was very reasonably priced.
lovely restaurant carefully managed by the owner. service was great, food was super tasty. the mixed grill was delicious and everyone enjoyed their meal.
special shout out to the baklava and turkish coffee that i could eat and drink for ever!
The staff here was so friendly-very hands-on! The chef even came out and made recommendations for our meals. We loved out experience and would definitely go back.
Service was amazing, friendly. Will definitely go back
Service was very slow. Our server was taking orders, serving, making cocktails, and busing all tables in her section. She was very pleasant and doing her best. The menus and chairs were sticky. The cocktails were weak. There are many fantastic dining options in Houston. We will not return to this restaurant.
Nice restaurant. The waitress is very friendly and helpful. We went there for Houston Restaurants Weeks. We had the $20 lunch menu, including appetizer, main dish and dessert. Welcoming atmosphere and good for family. We will come back.
Nice evening. We enjoyed the HRW menu selections. Wife had the lamb chops and I had the salmon - both were delicious (although the pasta served with my salmon was under seasoned).
Only one issue with our dinner experience - we were served our entrees before we were half finished with our appetizers. As a result, our entrees cooled down considerably before we could get to them.
We've dined here before and this is the only time we've had a hiccup in the service, so we do plan on returning.
BTW - the baklava and Turkish coffee are an excellent way to end a meal!!
Oh My!!!!! The lamb chops and filet!!!! Soooo good!!!! The rest of the food was delish as well!!!
The staff was very nice. The food was very tasty and location was great.
Very disappointing overall. Atmosphere was mediocre and food was really bad. I had a filet which was about 1/4” thick. Fatty, small an d unflavorful. The caprese salad was equally bad. Not going back
It was our first time going to this place. Nothing special, much more casual than fine dining. Came for Houston Restaurant Weeks. The meat pieces were either partially very well flavor or rather bland. Presentation average. Pretty attentive service.
We love Mediterranean food and we decided to give Turquoise Grill & Bar a try as the reviews were good. We were very disappointed as the food lacked taste and overall was very bland. For example the spicy chicken curry rolls were not spicy at all and there was no curry. The restaurant ran out of lemons at 5pm, which is not acceptable. This was very noticable in the Tabuleh.
Chris our server however did his best and was very helpful.
We have always enjoyed Turquoise Grill, whether for a dinner for two, a drive no with appetizers, or a group get together. Th food is always delicious and so interesting. The owners/chefs are always there to greet you and make you feel welcome.
It was really nice and welcoming atmosphere. We were introduced to delicious food and good customer service. Variety of food options makes this place perfect for groups. Everything we ate tasted great, starting with table bread! Desserts are tasty and colorful as well. I will definitely recommend to all my friends and will come back again!
Great food great service
Had a terrific waitress who was most helpful since none of us were familiar with Turkish cuisine. We enjoyed an after dinner visit from the owner and will definitely be back when in Sugarland.
We were also lucky enough to be there when Grammy nominee, Chris Mitchell was playing clarinet and saxophone at sidewalk cafe area. Excellent musician and you could still talk!
What a fantastic and authentic restaurant. The owner and host wants you to enjoy every bit of your meal that he himself has taken part in preparing. This place was a pleasant surprise. If you enjoy Turkish and Mediterranean food make sure you dine here. Don’t leave without some Turkish tea and baklava.
Service started slow but improved. Food was as expected. Nothing spectacular but decent value.
