Seafood is very central to authentic Mexican cuisine and Chef Jaime in Melrose and Chef Yal in Salem are preparing some Cinco de Mayo specials. Both locations will also celebrate with beverages, decorations and festive attire!!

We were in town overnight and wanted seafood. We made the right choice in coming to Turner’s. The atmosphere was very nice and the food was delicious . Our server was very attentive. I had the fish special which was swordfish that night and it was delicious . My only regret was we were full from dinner and didn’t have dessert.
The linguine and clams in white sauce was amazing. Service was a bit slow but the space was really lovely.
Had lunch at the bar, the bartender was wonderful - excellent service
We had a delicious dinner. Ordered the lobster bisque, with extra meat and it was so good! Added a salad and it made a nice dinner. Drinks were good and so was service. We will definitely go back when our travels take us back to Salem.
Great seafood and nice place. The food was superb nicely presented but still comfort food. The wait staff was friendly and competent. One of the managers stopped by each table to talk.
I had the swordfish with onion jam, mashed cauliflower and sautéed spinach. The serving size of swordfish was generous. It was cooked perfectly and delicious. Husband ordered the scallop special with potatoes, spinach and sundried tomatoes. It was delicious with a generous number of scallops. Dessert was the apple crisp à la mode with a caramel sauce that hit the spot.
The waitstaff was very attentive and friendly. The building has so much rich history. Will definitely go again.
We have always enjoyed your restaurant. We had taken out our Grandson for the evening.
We have had many family outings there and have always been happy with the meals as well
As your wonderful staff.
Excellent food, our server was amazing and every detail was perfect. Will definitely return!
This has become our go-to restaurant after visiting the Peabody Essex Museum. The space is comfortable, the service is polished, and the food is delicious.
I found the restaurant in a Google search so took a chance. I had a fish/pasta dish that was outstanding, the best fish (pan fried haddock) entree that I can remember eating out. My sister ordered the shrimp scampi and she was also delighted.
The service was excellent. The food choices plentiful. One of the only places to find Finnan Haddie, which they do quite nicely. Great clam chowder. Prices are good for this quality for food. The only down side is that the noise level is overwhelmingly loud. Difficult to enjoy a nice conversation, which spoils the evening with friends.
Our server John was fantastic and the food was equally spectacular. We will definitely be back.
Our food was very tasty, service was right on and the ambiance was wonderful & warm. Would definitely go back again.
A delicious lunch respite following a busy morning at the Peabody Essex Museum. Best GF options I've seen in a long time.
Our food was so great we came back the next night for another dinner. Even better! Lots of great gluten free items. Love this spot!
Excellent location and if you are looking for fresh seafood with a great atmosphere, Turner's can't be beat.
Just moved up to Salem and were looking for a nice night out. There were 5 of us and we had a great table in the corner. Martinis were on point. Oysters were great. Service was awesome. Overall very pleased and will be back.
5 friends met on a Saturday afternoon, none of us having been before. Excellent and immediate service. We had a reservation but showed up a half hour early and were accommodated right away. Exceptionally friendly and efficient staff. FANTASTIC seafood. Fried oysters were the standout. Great bloody marks and good selection of wine reasonably priced. Also, historic. Old Lyceum building and, according to another table of diners, the Lyceum did not permit women, and there were the 5 of us sitting under the sign! Photos taken.
Visited on a Friday evening and we were offered a high top after a short wait. Our meals and the service were both excellent, would recommend and will return.
We were sealed immediately, our server was wonderful ad the food was incredible. An instant favorite !
Always outstanding, go-to restaurant that rivals the old Lyceum: cozy, warm, upscale enough, great service, scrumpteous sourdough rolls, delicious oysters , seafoods, salad, yankee cocktails. never had a bad meal.
Nice service, delicious food.
Great lunch. The fried oysters were amazing and sweet, the lobster bisque is quite possibly, the best I've had and the lobster roll was chock full of big pieces of lobster and little else.
award winning lobster bisque- great calamari, clams, and clam chowder. I would go back again!
Turner's is the place to go for a seafood meal in Salem. From appetizer to dessert, all the items on the menu show care, attention to detail and high quality in preparation. The wait staff is knowledgeable about the food and able to recommend delicious items that avoid food allergies. We've eaten at Turner's twice and can't wait to return the next time we're visiting the North Shore.
We were timely seated. Food, drinks, service and atmosphere all great. Would go back.
Perfect food, perfect atmosphere...They get the food service business better than most
We had excellent seafood meals. A very good restaurant.
First, I'll say that everyone else's meal seemed to be very good.
Atmosphere was nice, and the service was excellent.
In re my meal, I ordered a tuna steak very rare. It came rare, but the tuna did not taste fresh; it was a bit "stiff" and past its prime. And at $29 for lunch, I was a bit disappointed.
Turners is always good. It has a nice NE ambiance and the food is always yummy.
The food is always very good and we appreciate the special attention to preparing foods considering my husband's nut allergy.
First time at turners. We will be back. Very good. Even on irish music on st. Patricks day.
Absolutely, without a doubt the best seafood I have ever had. The aroma coming from the kitchen was divine. If you have the chance, GO HERE.
We sat at a table in the bar next to fireplace. Food was fantastic I had the swordfish which was some of the best I’ve ever had. Waitress was a little slow keeping up with the drink orders but really nice atmosphere and an overall good place.
Wonderful food and the staff could not have been better. The owner came to our table to see how we were and she was lovely. We will be back!
The wait staff was very friendly and handled my boyfriend’s allergies to fish (just white fish) with great care! He enjoyed the lobster pie and I ate the best scallops! Thank you so much! We will be coming back! Ps the owner was there and we felt very taken care of!
Excellent food with very friendly service. Worthy of a special occasion.
Food was wonderful, never disappoints. Menu is varied and always has some interesting specials. One person in our party had a number of questions re ingredients. Our waiter was very well informed and when we asked a question as to whether a specific item was dairy free, he said he wasn’t sure and went into the kitchen to ask.
salad overdressed; medium hamburger undercooked, fish kind of tasteless
