If you're looking for a great dinner spot to cap off a day of exploring in Salem, Turner's is a must. It has all the comfort and cuisine of an upscale dining experience without the unnecessary price tag. During our visit, our server gave us amazing recommendations and was incredibly knowledgeable of everything on the menu. The food itself is generously portioned and cooked to absolute perfection; the calamari is some of the best I've ever had, and I kept trying to steal bites of my date's swordfish. The cherry on top: their drinks pack a serious punch. Can't wait to go back!
Fabulous food in a wonderful historic setting. Everyone at the table was delighted with their selection.
Every thing was fantastic except the French fries. I expected a steak fry with a lot of potato flavor and instead, nustling up to my delicious haddock were thin, flavorless julienned strips.
We liked everything that we had, the service was great and friendly. I would certainly recommend this restaurant and go back again.
Although the food was tasty, it wasn’t served hot. Even after sending back to reheat. Otherwise, the service, ambience and food taste was great.
Resturant offers limited GF options would not recommend . They truly need to review allergy /medical procedures . Had to send food back for cross contamination also fiod being ice cold twice. Not recommend for celiacs .
Best Seafood in town I really recommended thank you
I had the best birthday dinner. Thank you. Superior food and service as always!
I have been here several times and the food has always been amazing. The service there has always been amazing. The dining room managers are very attentive and they make sure that everything is taken care of. The woman who seats you is a very moody person, and is in dyer need of emotional intelligence training. She ranges from very pleasant to totally obnoxious. Don’t let her stand in the way of a great meal however.
Everything was great. My only complaint was that they did no publish how much their speciality drinks were. If they had know the prices, I probably wouldn't have bought one and I ordered two at $14 each!
That is officially the most expensive drink I've ever ordered. Although the food prices were reasonable, they kill you on the alcohol. Buyer beware....ask the price before you order. Otherwise, the food, service and ambiance was great!
Delicious, as always!
A wonderful return visit to Turners. The service was spot on, attentive and gracious. The fish was extremely fresh, served beautifully with local ingredients and presented in a very appetizing manner.
Nice atmosphere, interesting seafood menu. Overall very good. Would recommend to my family and friends.
Great for an evening snack or light dinner; we sat at the bar and the service was great
The baked scallops were delicious! I was so pleased with the food, I will definitely be back. Just wish he tables weren't so close to each other
Excellent service..great food!
Will definitely go back!
As usual the food was excellent. Our server, DeeDee, was awesome. We will go again just to see her.
Another great time dining at the raw bar.
Turner’s is a 5 star restaurant. My only issue is that they had trouble keeping the the room warm
Food was great and excellent service, will definitely go back!
The best seafood on the Norht Shore. The seafood is always fresh and the service is always outstanding. A must visit if you are in the Salem/Peabody area. The only suggestion I have is to bring back the stuffed shrimp.
The food and drinks were excellent! Staff was very friendly and professional!
Great food, service, and company.
We always have a great meal at turners . From start to finish
food was delicious and the service excellent! I will be back!
They sat us next to the waitress station and the bathroom after giving a reservation a week ahead and the waitress never checked on us. Never refilled our water. And then instead of asking us if we wanted dessert she gave us the check and said we should go to a cookie place down the street. The food was delicious the service was awefull
Nice relaxed atmosphere. Ordered the finnan haddie. Very tasty, but the sides were mashed potatoes and squash, so not much eye appeal. Green veg or garnish would enhance it.
Interesting menu selections, great cocktails, very good service. One down side, they forgot one of our appetizers.
This was highly recommended and we were not disappointed. The Clam Chowder and Lobster Bisque were excellent, Crab Cake was flawless and the fried seafood platter allowed to try all of the fruits of the sea. The sides of brussel sprouts and potato wedges made it a complete meal - Thanks to the owner or GM who stopped by to visit - unexpected but appreciated. I will be back on next visit to the area.
Delicious local fish & shellfish
We had a reservation for a table vut were having so much fun at the bar, we decided to stay there. Great experience in every way.
I don't have a 50 charactar revfiew. I love your place and will be back with friends very soon!
We celebrated our 37th anniversary with a delightful meal at Turners. My daughter in Beverly highly recommended it. We were delighted to find a "Pinotage" on your wine list as it is only made in So. Africa and reminded us of our trip there a few years ago. Great meal and great service.
First the parking lot across the steeet was a nightmare . It wouldn’t take my credit card . I had to get change and go back to the car . Cold out and it was frustrating!
Then they wouldn’t seat us till everyone was there.
Then I got tuna and when it came it was like tuna fish with mayo . I wanted a piece of dish tuna . So not then best experience.
The food was excellent and so was the service. Pricey
Thought for the hype and the reviews, the food would be bomb. It was okay. Nothing great, nothing bad. Just mediocre.
Lovely place. Great fish. Not cheap, but worth it for a nice nite out.
Delicious lobster penne and chef's salmon on a cold snowy night sitting by the fireplace. Thank you for braving the elements and being open!
Sat 35 minutes later than reservation
Took about 15 minutes for a server to attend
Tuna was not cooked as asked even after server confirmed.
Food felt a bit “fast food”
Not a good value.
