   This was our second time dining at Turners and it did not disappoint! We were in Salem for the Salem So Sweet Events for my sisters birthday. I booked a reservation for 3 for lunch on Saturday at 1:00pm. We arrived 15 minutes early for our reservation and it was packed! The Hostess offered that we could wait the 15 minutes, or take a high boy table available immediately. We opted for the high boy table. Very nice to be accommodated and given options. The waitress (wish I could find the receipt with her name!) was amazing and an absolute doll!! She immediately brought over a carafe of water and poured waters for all of us. She also brought bread and butter. This was all done without having to be asked. Excellent service!! The food was delicious. I got the hot lobster roll with the melted warm butter served on the side w/jasmine rice (a great menu choice of like 8-10 different sides!) and Cole slaw. My sister got the cold lobster roll and said it was really good, but wished she had gotten the hot lobster with the melted butter in the side. :) My nephew got the Salmon Teriyaki and his girlfriend got the Char Grilled Burger and said they were great. The waitress was very attentive with checking-in on us, as was the Manager and/or owner who stopped by our table as well. I stepped away from the table to ask the hostess for a special dessert for my sister fur her birthday. She showed me the dessert menu, I selected the chocolate torte. She immediately informed the waitress, who then waited for the perfect moment to light a candle, bring the dessert and help us sing Happy Birthday!! When the check came the waitress said to make sure the charge for the dessert was removed, as dessert is “free” for birthdays. The dessert charge wasn’t removed. I paid cash. She then offered to correct the bill and print a new receipt However, she was so wonderful that I told her thank you, but unnecessary and to keep the tip on the full amount. Great food and service and food!!

   Turner's is one of our go-to places and it never disappoints. Carolina is one of the best waitresses on the North Shore: professional and knowledgeable, friendly and attentive without being a haunt. The food is always amazing. My only complaint is that the bay scallops appetizer for $22 is a little pricey, but I get it anyway because it's delicious and only available for a limited time.

   Turner's Seafood is our go-to in Salem, MA. The food is always fresh, the servers are friendly, and the atmosphere is relaxed. My personal favorite is the chef's daily preparation of mussels, or any of the other three preparations of mussels that are always available.

   Service was excellent; our waitress was solicitous without hovering. We each had two courses- my beet/arugula/ pear salad was fresh and my husband very much enjoyed the Portuguese stew. The mussels dijonaisse which iI had as my main course was delicious, as was the Mac and cheese with crabmeat which my husband chose.

   Wonderful lunch! Tuna burger was outstanding and Tyler (excuse me if I have your incorrect name) was bartender and is also one of the Asst. GMs was excellent...polite and efficient!

   Loved our most recent visit to Turners! The atmosphere is charming, the waitstaff are pleasant and attentive, but the star of the night is the food! The lobster bisque with added lobster is amazing! I also had the pesto swordfish which was outstanding! Really have never had a bad meal at Turners! Highly recommend!

   Great stuff. Got tuna for the entreé, and it was outstanding. Half dozen oysters to start. I was surprised that the wait staff couldn't tell us where they were from though (the oysters). Most seafood places pride themselves on that. Manager was great, when we mentioned an allergy. Waitress and server, both very pleasant.

    This was our third time visiting Turner’s, and it was by far the best. Certainly our early dinner reservation helped ensure that the noise level and atmosphere was comfortable, but as in all the times we’ve been there, the food and service were delicious and delightful!

    Greeted by a very friendly hostess and waiter. I was in town for business and wanted a great seafood dinner. I ordered the baked seafood medley with a side of cauliflower mashed and Brussel Sprouts. All of the food was amazing, the service was exceptional and I will definitely return.

    The restaurant was quite empty on Jan 1st for dinner reservation, but we were seated at the back of the restaurant near the entrance to the kitchen and restrooms. I should have called the hostess on this blatant disrespectful behavior right away. I believe our party was profiled. There was only one other table occupied in our section while there were plenty of open tables in the front of the restaurant. Another party was seated in our section sometime later and a member of that party’s presence was most likely the reason they were seated in this section. Our bill arrived with an additional item that we had not ordered. I mentioned it to the server, who apologized and removed it without any issue. Not impressed w/ Turner Seafood and will not be returning ever again and will ensure none of my network ever takes their business to this establishment.

    I have never had a bad meal at Turner's. This last time it was busy. Service was spotty. The oysters had shell in them -- all 12. The rest of the food was just OK and not warm enough. Yes, I would recommend Turner's based on many prior experiences. But another one like this makes it a bad value. This was not a $100 lunch experience (no alcohol either). btw - why is the women's restroom so cold?

    The food is always and for the most part excellent : but someone is putting garlic powder in the mussels so that’s all I could taste. 😓 it should be white wine and shallots , but they have great clam chowder !
