We come every year when seeing The Nutcracker. The staff is great. The menu is fantastic and also specific to the ballet for the evening. It’s just lovely.

We chose our meal from the "The Nutcracker" menu. The salad and calamari appetizers were delicious as were the Cornish Hen and Salmon mains. The seafood dishes were cooked to perfection. The sauces were unusual and very flavourful. The disappointment was the dessert tray. The miniature desserts were very ordinary. This marred an otherwise excellent meal and left us feeling disatisfied. It would have preferable to have one high quality dessert to finish the meal on a high note. The service was very attentive.

Casual dinner for 5. First server had an excellent knowledge of wine menu. Unfortunately he only returned to serve drinks initially. Multiple servers attended our table, while each were polite, this made for a less welcoming experience than expected. Refills for drinks were slightly slow and had to be requested. All meals tasted good, but nothing stood out as excellent. Portions were smaller than expected. As an example, the butter chicken curry was suggested to be a filling main; yet, was less than so. Poutine was massive, and appreciated as the guests that were hungry after there mains helped themself to my plate. Excellent mushroom and braised beef option for the poutine. Very quiet and lacked a cosiness aspect.

We ate here prior to attendance at the ballet, as we usually do, but this time we had a very pleasant female waiter who took very good care of us. We have had efficient, but perfunctory service from some of the male wait staff in the past. This was pleasantly different. The food was delicious.

I went there for breakfast with a large number of kids. The price was reasonable for the Buffett but the selection was nothing to write home about. In fact I have stayed at this hotel and ate breakfast on the executive floor and the breakfast there is far more superior. I noticed many had complementary coupons for breakfast which may be the reason the selection and quality was less that fair.
The service however was delivered with a smile despite the waiter being very busy and having to service several tables.
Good option if like me, on an occasion like this have several kids and cannot (do not want to) venture too far on your own, and need to stay in the hotel, but if you can try to get in to the executive floor and have breakfast there instead.

We have enjoyed Tundra before - but we have also been frustrated by the same server before.
We were never asked if we wanted tea or coffee after the meal - this has happened with the same server before.
Once our lunch was delivered to the table, we were never approached by server again - no water refill, no coffee refill, no inquiry on anything else...
We practically had to send out a search party to get our bill - and 4 women were not asked if separate bills were desired.
While we would visit again, we would make a reservation specifying we wanted seating in another server's section.

We had the prix fixe menu before the opera , and the steak with scalloped potatoes and brussels sprouts was absolutely perfect- memorable. Service was great, and my only wish would be that it wasn’t connected to a lounge and was a proper restaurant, but the section we were in by the windows did at least create that illusion.

It's a typical big hotel lobby bistro and bar. Rather cold ambiance, true to its name. The food is quite ok, inventive, though the preparation needed more attention. Service was consistently inattentive, slow, and inappropriately formal given the venue.

This was a pleasant place for our anniversary dinner. The atmosphere was laid back, the service excellent and the value good. The size of the dishes was about right: not overwhelming but not necessitating snacking later.

Chatted with someone in elevator after dinner.

"How are you?"

" I am amazed. Wasn't that a wonderful meal? I never expected it from a hotel restaurant!"

"Same here. The seafood was just wonderful."

Can't praise chef enough. Service top rate. Ambiance, soft quiet music. Easy to converse. Great attention to dietary issues.

In short, you can't go wrong and you can go very right!

Very good breakfast buffet offerings, nice ambiance, and price point, but servers are not attentive. Wasn't offered a glass of water or asked how my day is, server never introduced himself (which is basics). Maybe he thought I am too young to care about :)) the hostess was very welcoming and warm though.

I booked this restaurant due to location (mid-point between my and my colleague's office) but I will return because of the phenomenal service and outstanding food. Our waiter (Neaz) is a consummate professional. He treated us like royalty while never losing his personal, friendly style. The food was outstanding: the bruschetta flat bread is worth a long drive. My friend and I both had the salmon and, when we asked Neaz if he could substitute the sides, he responded with a quick "of course, what would you like?". The restaurant makes its own bread and butter with cream from Quebec. Chef Aaron Chen came to our table and spoke to us about the food and the restaurant, which only added to the overall pleasure. My friend says, as a self-admitted picky eater, that it was among the best food she's had. I will return to this restaurant many times and will happily recommend it to others.

We ordered the spaghetti bolognese. It was bland, luke warm and there was hardly any chicken or Parmesan cheese for that matter. There was no bread served either before, or when our dish was brought to the table. The food was a waste of money.

went for lunch before the ballet - it was dead. were seated in the round couch area - service was really poor - just one guy for the whole area. he took our order and went back to work the bar. halfway through - more staff appeared - we ordered an orange juice from one of the new folks but he disappeared and the juice never appeared. we've been here before in the evening before a show and its busy and well staffed. guess not for lunch on a sunday!

We attended a pre-ballet meal. They had noted it was our anniversary, mentioned when we arrived, but otherwise ignored. Servers were too few for the number of patrons and not very professional. The only reason to go back is because it is convenient when attending The Four Seasons Centre.

The Restaurant Host staff were wonderful as we planned our dinner meeting. The waiter was respectful of conversations ongoing. The food was lovely and came out very quickly. We used a set menu which was really convenient. The atmosphere was very conducive to our discussions and the location of our table was private.

I would highly recommend this as a great place to host a dinner since the hotel is so often affiliated with conferences. The food was tasty, drink selection was lovely and service was polite and timely. A wonderful experience.

Pre theatre menu was the only choice. Quite limited and disappointing. Too much focus on 3 course with dessert. Not even a green salad starter option but fortunately when asked, the waiter was able to supply. Should be more light but tapas style perhaps.
