Cozy and delicious Italian dining. Felt like being at a small Manhattan Italian restaurant yet still in Seattle. Perfect!

Underwhelming overall. From the relatively small menu, we picked salads (kale, caesar), followed by albacore tuna and duck. The salads were good, particularly the kale, but my tuna dish lacked flavor and my wife's duck was a little too well done.

Sitting towards the back of the establishment near the kitchen front distorted some of the vibes as we were celebrating a special birthday. Nevertheless, the service was still great and the food even better.

We have always had a great meal there, it’s quiet in the afternoon, sound level just right for conversations—and this time it didn’t disappoint. We had brunch, and the chef’s omelette was delicious. I would, as always, recommend Tulio.

We were warmly welcomed and well attended to by staff. I took my husband here for his birthday. The ambiance was perfect. The food was delicious. I ordered the lamb, my husband ordered the clam linguini which had a large amount of well prepared clams.
We also ordered a few other starters that were mouth watering.

The wine list was not as impressive. Being from the NW I felt the winelist could have featured more Pinot Noir.

Overall I loved this place! Our waiter was amazing and even brought out a birthday dessert for my husband and I to share. It's I great place to spend money on the person you love and just enjoy each others company.

Great food and convenient for 5th Avenue and Paramount. Best for a date night or small group. Would be a perfect spot for an anniversary dinner, as it has a romantic vibe.

Stopped in on a Monday and they were fairly full. Seated quickly. Started with the Watercress and Beet Salad and the Burrata (pear) salad (two separate salads). The Burrata salad was amazing, beet salad was also very good, but overshadowed by the Burrata. Ordered the Sweet Potato Gnocchi and the Rabbit Risotto (special). Both were OK, but not really up to the Tulio standard. Gnocchi was very chewy and could not find much rabbit in the Risotto. The risotto also had an overpowering sweet/acid taste, way too much vinegar for me. Both were OK, but not really up to the usual Tulio standard. Service, as usual, was excellent and the wine list very complete. Atmosphere is A+. A very comfortable place to go.

Third time to eat at Tulio's in past year; one lunch and two dinners. Absolutely wonderful. On the last 2 visits had the wild mushroom pasta, split as an appetizer , and shared the pistachio for dessert. On the pre-theatre visit 01/9 I enjoyed the sirloin lamb with delicious accompaniments, and a kale salad with citrus dressing in addition to the pasta and dessert Usually I would not choose kale, but at Tulio's everything is so good that I am willing to experiment. My son had the sword fish special perfectly prepared and Mom had duck. 3 generations enjoying 4 courses. P.S. had a great breakfast at Tulio's the next morning.

Lovely as always. Service is always excellent but not stuffy and food is excellent. Dining room a bit crowded but in a neighborhood trattoria sort of way and less noisy or distracting as you might think. It's a treat.

The best thing Tulio has going for it is the location. A lovely place to dine if you are staying at the hotel and/or going to the 5th Avenue Theater. Prices in Seattle are very high, but the cost of this meal for the amount of food we ate was really shocking. We were two people. We had two cocktails a piece. For anitipasti we split the watercress and beet salad and the burrata. For secondi we split the chicken. And we were still hungry so we then ordered another anitipasto, the sweet potato gnocchi. Our check came to $195 and I was still hungry. So I would not choose Service and ambience were lovely but I would not visit Tulio again unless it was because of it's location.

We had an excellent dinner with friends. Our group of 7 was handled well. The restaurant is not large and the tables are all rather close together; the noise level was fairly high. Once the crowd thinned a bit it was easier to converse across the table. Service was attentive. Great experience!

Been here before and really enjoyed the food, service and atmosphere. This time was different, primarily because of the limited special menu available on New Year's eve and the less-than-laudable food. The service seemed rushed and blah too. The only good things were coffee and dessert ... great Tiramisu.

Beautiful place with great customer service. I've never been disappointed nor had a bad experience. New Year's Eve is always a perfect time to come out and enjoy the dining atmosphere. We (hubby and I) come every NYE (except for the two years I was out of the country) since we've been together. The swordfish was amazing and the risotto dish was splendid.

There are many good restaurants in Seattle, and Tulio is certainly one of them. Handmade pasta isn't as easy to come by elsewhere, and Tulio can take pride in serving the real thing. Tulio survived being the "in-spot" in a restaurant scene that is seriously competitive and where trendy choices come and go, and while some established places seem dated and worn, Tulio remains a good bet. Count on a cozy escape from the pouring rain, linen tablecloths, a menu that doesn't gouge and returns a fair value, a touch of refinement without being off-putting or elite. You'll feel welcomed, and you will leave satisfied by a meal and not just an opportunity to admire some superstar's perfection. Tulio isn't all about being the painting, but it gives you a special canvas where you can share a quiet meal and conversation or bring your young ones for a special, grown-up treat.

In my opinion, this is the best restaurant in Seattle. We had the opportunity to have a Saturday night dinner there as well as breakfast the following morning. The dinners (pork shank and lamb) were perfect. Antonio Flores, our waiter probably knew more about the offerings than most chefs. The cocktails were perfectly made and the wine list has some very good value wines on it as well as the usual overpriced ones.
Breakfast was also perfect. The manager was attentive to every patron's needs and the wait staff was as competent as the night before. The homemade chicken sausage can't be beat and the way the potatoes are cooked is also unique. I want to come back soon.

We brought my sister from WA DC to share in a special dinner (following Christmas) and she was blown away! We had such a fantastic meal, amazing service and great wine. While it is a small, cozy place not only was the atmosphere so delightful but the noise level was barely audible! We could not have found a better place to "treat" her and we will be back!

Been going to Tulio at least once a year for the last 10 years. The food and service has always been above average. However, the decor and lighting is well overdue for major work. We were there for lunch. Now I don't expect intimate lighting at noon, however it seemed it seems to be
entirely lit with 150w bulbs more akin to mall food court.

Very attentive staff who accommodated us despite our early arrival. Comfortable seating, lots of menu choices and nobody in a hurry to make us eat and run to squeeze in the next customer. Noisy at first, but quieted down after lunch crowd had to get back to work, around 1:15PM. Excellent butternut squash soup and Penn Cove mussels, very good pasta (agnoli) and generous pours on wine. (Glad we took the bus downtown!)
