Fabulous food and service. The waiter was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and the wine list. Dinner was superb!

Great food & service! Wish I had a scoop more of the orecchiette pasta but the homemade apricot lavender sorbet was phenomenal! Will definitely eat here again when I am in Seattle!

Portions were small and very bland tasting for the prices. Service marginal at best. Upon being seated, the bus person walked by us twice with a pitcher of water , once catching my eye, and kept on walking. As he walked by us a third time after stopping at tables on either side of us, I had to call out to him and ask if we could have some water . He either chose to ignore me or did not hear me, and kept walking. I ordered the risotto wich was served in an enormous bowl, but was the equivalent of a 1.5 measuring cup. It was under cooked and looked and tasted like oatmeal. This was a Valentine dinner and my lady was not impressed, especially after I had talked it up and told her about all the rave reviews?

Good place for lunch or dinner but difficult for larger groups due to very high noise level making conversation difficult.

The staff, knowing it was our anniversary, gave us two red roses and a free dessert. We truly appreciated that kind gesture. Everything went smoothly, our waitress was very attentive. It was nice to have valet parking. Thank you.

It was definitely okay. But for the price ($170 for one split appetizer, two entrees, and two drinks each) it wasn't worth it. I've had much better food. It was simply decent in my opinion. I won't be going back. I wasn't impressed. 3.5 stars.

The waiter and the food was great.

The source of our disappointment was the treatment we received on arrival. Although we made our reservation several weeks in advance, the hostess led us to the worst table in the room. When we asked for another of the many open tables, we were told they were reserved and were offered a slightly better location. Tiny table in high traffic area. Shortly after we were seated the hostess led another nicely dressed couple to the same lousy table we were first offered. Most of the better tables and booths remained vacant during our meal.

Despite the excellent food and attentive waiter, the mood on our special Valentine evening was spoiled.

Food was good, but Someone from New York or Chicago would never call this an Italian Restaurant. Ordered spaghetti and the noodles were little curly Asian style noodles in a clear broth, tasted ok, but not my idea of spaghetti
Long story short, if you screw up spaghetti in an Italian restaurant .....you are not Italian

Actual noise level on a Saturday nite with a theater crowd and several large parties diluted the previously experienced ambiance of the restaurant ... It was actually too busy; better when the theater crowd hit the road ... Not sure if there is room, but a soft string quartet playing during dinner time would sell out the tables most every nite ... Again, make certain not to focus on the side items rather than the quality of the food which was delightful ...

Terrific, as always. If you haven't had the chicken, please do. Find out what folks have been raving about for 25 years.
But with a half dozen new options on each menu that keep Tulio always current.

Old... makes you believe that it is a modern eatery when in fact it is old and crusty. The linguine vongole was the worst I ever had. Yuk.

We hadn't been to Tulio's in at least 25 years and yet we felt like we had just been there. Everything we tried was excellent. My wife had the Swordfish special while I went for the more traditional Orechetti with house made sausage. Nothing disappointed us from the warm and friendly service to the exciting entrees. It was without a doubt a very special evening

We were here before a show at the Paramount and server was great accommodating for our food intolerances she was also very patient and attentive. When I wasn’t sure which wine to try she immediately brought me samples of each. The food was also great. I started with Kale salad, then had bone-in ribeye, and finished with the tiramisu. What can I say, but I will definitely be back!

Not only was the main course incredible, the dessert course simply blew us away. The table enjoyed the cherry chocolate cake, pistachio semifreddo, and tiramisu, and each selection was expertly appointed. To top this all off, our waitress was incredibly patient and accommodating with members of our group that were inexperienced with ordering fine Italian, as well as those who were GF and vegetarian.

This was our first time at at Tulio, and we loved it. This is a great place to celebrate. They wished me a happy birthday from when we came in and gave me a glass of champagne and gave my daughter pomegranate juice. Our server was very friendly and attentive. Everything was delicious, and they made it a great evening!

It was my girlfriends birthday, and it was not acknowledged by the waitstaff. The food was good, but when you spend $150 for two, I expected better than just good.
I think in the future, more questions need to be asked. My girlfriend has spent many birthdays here, and would like that to continue. Food was good, but other things need to improve.

Disappointed that the menu at noon on Saturday is only brunch and very unusual brunch dishes at that. We were headed to 5th Ave Theater and wanted lunch food. Two of us ordered the grilled rustic bread with tomato ragu, eggs and hollandaise. Neither of us liked it at all. Too many flavors! The one hit was the waffle we ordered as an appetizer! Service was very good, other meals at Tulio have been good, just won’t ever go again for a weekend lunch date.

We visited Tulio's 25 years ago, and always wanted to return. It is even better than we remember. We LOVE the ambiance! The food was FANTASTIC too. Our server was great. She made sure we had everything we needed at all times. From the minute we walked in, we were enveloped in the cozy atmosphere and felt so comfortable. We were a group of seven, and all of us agreed it was a highly memorable meal. So glad we found Tulio's again!

We had a great dinner before a show at the 5th Ave. The menu is not extensive, but has at least one good entree in all protein categories (fish, poultry, meat) as well as vegetarian options. The ambiance is cozy and relaxed and service is excellent. I also think their prices are pretty reasonable for the quality of food, as I had a delicious grilled lamb sirloin for $29. The portion was generous and the accompanying fregola sarda pasta with olives, mint and yogurt was great. It is easy to see why Tulio has maintained its popularity for 25 years.

After nearly 20 years of working, living and playing in downtown and eating just about everywhere Tulio remains in my view the best restaurant in the central business district. Skip the big names and likes of Purple, Wild Ginger and the Met and come here instead. You won’t regret it. Thier pan seared Gnocchi as always remains distinct from what you usually see and one of my favorite dishes anywhere world wide. The Korbuta Pork Shank is one of my wife’s favorites.
