Fabulous as ever
Tulio has a fairly limited menu but with nice variety. The pastas and salads are great. The service is always good and fast enough for a business meal.
This is our family’s “go to” restaurant for special occasions. There’s always something for everyone and high standards are consistent. A bit of a hassle for us to trek downtown but we make the exception for Tulio’s!
This restaurant is a traditionally good Italian "go to" for dinner prior to a show. The pasta is excellent. The menu had many interesting options (though the dessert menu did not make us want to have one of everything.) The (apparently) all male wait staff did their jobs but were not particularly personable. That's OK if the goal is to "serve a meal" but if one wants to have a "great experience" then more is necessary.
Great place for a great meal. Was very happy and full when leaving. Friendly staff.
Good Italian fare .. innovative .
Burrata is good and done with Carmelized pears.
Pekoe mussels are very tasty and are on of the best dishes. People who were there loved the sweet potatoe gnocchi.
I had breakfast there too and they have a great omelet of the day with coffee And homemade jam.
Date night with my wife. We had no deadline for departing so we made it a leisurely dinner with appetizers, 1/2 bottle of champagne, two courses and wine. A highlight was our server, Ricardo. He was very knowledgeable and attentive. We had a booth which is much preferred at Tulio as tables are close together.
Sweet potato gnocchi is an item of fame at Tulio. We tried and enjoyed but did not think extraordinary. The trout with greens was an excellent appetizer. When asked, Ricardo suggested we select from their fresh made pastas for our Primi course; we were more than pleased. For Secondi I chose the swordfish which was excellent and a healthy portion.
Tulio's wine list is, naturally, very heavy to Italian. Only disappointment of our experience was wine list showing a 2012 Italian red blend with which we were familiar...the bottle came to our table and it really was a 2014. We turned it down and ordered something else. I know it is tough to keep wine lists current.
We absolutely love Tulio. We have NEVER been disappointed.
Had a wonderful experience and had a top notch lamb and wife loved pork spaghetti!
The Italian inspired menu is very good - there are a variety of options on the short/medium menu. Lunch is busy and the restaurant is cozy. Bar seating is a little on the tight side but noise is not overwhelming. You don't have to enter the hotel to enter the restaurant; it's a good place to meet someone for a business lunch.
Great service staff with a teaming attitude and great recommends which we took and enjoyed
Made a recommendation to another conference attendee and he had a great experience also
The food was amazing. The gnocchi was delicious.
Absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Super accommodating and tons of vegetarian options. Be sure to ask for a vegetarian menu!
Great service, very attentive. Food was good, no complaints. Decor is a bit outdated.
Anniversary dinner greeting with beautiful roses
Thank you !!
Great food and great service.
Always my first evening meal when in Seattle! Butternut Squash Soup is off the charts! Pasta dishes all wonderful.
I was disappointed. My wife had spaghetti with pork belly. It doesn't come with a sauce so it was kindof dry. I had the rib eye steak. It was massive( no complaints), but a bit chewy. I'd prefer a smaller piece of meat that is more tender. Maybe that's just rib eye?
Dined family style, waited extremely long for our meat course and they forgot one of our dishes, and didn’t acknowledge the birthday at all. We left and had dessert else where
My husband and I checked out Tulio’s for a date night because I pass it every day on my way in to work and wanted to give it a try. I came in for the sweet potato Gnocchi, and although it was delicious, it wasn’t the highlight of our night. We were seated promptly, had a wonderful server and enjoyed an amazing meal. We will be back!
Dinner before Mamma Mia at the 5th... it was a great, great night!!
Very friendly service, several of the staff wished us a happy anniversary. Provided two roses for the occasion and offered us a complimentary glass of Prosecco. Food was great and our waiter was professional and responsive. Great place for a special occasion!
We loved the location. We stayed at the Kimpton. The breakfast was incredible! Would definitely visit again whenever we are in the Seattle area.
Linguine with Clams a little flat: though clams themselves were fresh, something was missing (maybe herbs, white wine, I don't know, I'm not a chef). Linguine cooked al dente, as they should be. Warm pecan tart with vanilla ice cream excellent, more than big enough to share. Server in upstairs room knowlegable, discreet, and attentive, without being intrusive. Dined there on a Friday night; my advance request for a quiet table was granted, which I greatly appreciated. (Was dining with a friend I hadn't seen in 40 years; my hearing isn't what it was in my 20s.) Altogether a very enjoyable evening; great place for an intimate conversation. I'd definitely return next time I'm in Seattle. Recommend making reservations early.
Meh. Mixed experience. $$ food with a confusing pallet of tastes in each dish.
Tulio is an outstanding restaurant with a great staff, delicious food, and an amazing wine list....Bravo!
My husband and I had one evening to spend in Seattle, and the suggestion we were given to eat at Tulio’s was excellent! We enjoyed the food and atmosphere very much and hope to return again someday.
Great food and great service before a show at the the 5th Avenue!
We have not been here for years. Most impressed! Food very good, service exemplary. A great meal in a cozy space. Cannot say enough good things re service. Congratulations Walter!
Will definitely return!
Tulio was superb! Fabulous service, wonderful ambience and superlative food and wine! We'll be back!
Tulio’s was a little disappointing for breakfast. Food was not hot when served and not deserving more than it was pretty good. Not great. Service was okay.
This restaurant places all open table reservations
In the noisy and cramped bar!
Service was terrible!!!
Food was only mediocre.
Our table was practically semi-private in balcony and service was wonderful. Delicious food, wine -- an absolute lovely evening!
Food was ok. Had to send 1 dish back, it was completely burnt. My dish was ok. Lacked any seasoning on the roasted red potatoes. It was difficult finding the ham in my omelet. Even though the wait staff was great the kitchen staff is in need of an upgrade.
We had high expectations based on TripAdvisor and Yelp. We were seated at the last table before the kitchen. My chair, with its' back to the waitstaff counter, was bumped multiple times by waitstaff passing by, with no apologies. The service, while courteous, was exceedingly slow. The bread was akin to cheap Wonder Bread, not delicious or Italian-tasting. The gnocchi starter was delicous; the pears in the burrata were out of a can and were not amazing. The entrees were tasty; the lamb & pork belly pasta were delicious. The chicken was very flavorful, although quick cool by the time it was served. The presentation of the Agnolotti, the only vegetarian entree offered by the waiter, was slop-like; a grey-colored goo covered the noodles, causing the dish to look very unappealing. We will not be returning and were disappointed in our experience.
Super as usual! Juan was our waiter and did a great job. He had good recommendations for us.
The food was terrific - pork and duck, some of our favorites presented in new ways. You won't be disappointed!
Fabulous food and service. The waiter was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and the wine list. Dinner was superb!
I am a classically trained chef and no that doesnt mean i can critique their food as i have a fraction of their experience but i know what im eating and that was some of the best food ive ever had and i would gladly eat there again
Portions were small and very bland tasting for the prices. Service marginal at best. Upon being seated, the bus person walked by us twice with a pitcher of water , once catching my eye, and kept on walking. As he walked by us a third time after stopping at tables on either side of us, I had to call out to him and ask if we could have some water . He either chose to ignore me or did not hear me, and kept walking. I ordered the risotto wich was served in an enormous bowl, but was the equivalent of a 1.5 measuring cup. It was under cooked and looked and tasted like oatmeal. This was a Valentine dinner and my lady was not impressed, especially after I had talked it up and told her about all the rave reviews?
Great food & service! Wish I had a scoop more of the orecchiette pasta but the homemade apricot lavender sorbet was phenomenal! Will definitely eat here again when I am in Seattle!
