Service was really slow. We've had this problem before here. It took almost an hour to get drinks and 2 before we had food. Other than that the food is fabulous and the service was good just not a great stop if you are on a time schedule.

We dined here before an event nearby. The service was excellent. The noise level is actually pretty quiet considering how close the tables were and I could talk very easily while in the booth.
The food was good but didn't sweep me off my feet. Overall, I would eat here again and recommend it.

Tulio was chosen based on their reviews, and the food, wine and service did not disappoint!

Excellent & authentic Italian with a great wine list and an unbelievable selection of grappa...

Tulio is our families favorite long time tradition. It is one of the last places in Seattle that is consistent - you know you will have a fabulous time when you go to Tulio, every.single.time! It is such a gem. We look forward to our next time at Tulio!

We were visiting Seattle and the staff at our hotel recommended this restaurant. They were spot on. Nice romantic place. Great food and fun beers. I’m a veg and there were some good choices. Really nice place!

Tulio was a nice end to a long day. The food was good (on the pricier side for rustic Italian), service was good and they had menus for gluten free and vegetarian diets. Good experience all around.

Absolutely amazing place. The food was completely unique in taste. I know I will be craving their food for a while. My only downside is that I won’t be able to go back for a while since I don’t live in Seattle.

Alas, Tulio's is not what it was. Executive Chef Walter Pisano has had a well-deserved reputation for elevating hotel food well above its usual ho-hum level. Along with Shuckers, Tulio's was one of the bright spots in Seattle business district dining, great for lunch, good for pre- or post-theatre dinner. So made plans to have lunch with a former partner, and was looking forward to Tulio's good pasta, especially the scrumptious sweet potato gnocchi.

Not so scrumptious gnocchi, not anymore. Glutinous on the inside, way too crispy on the outside, as if it has been made hours earlier and then put under a warming light. A big disappointment. And my wife had the same gnocchi experience several weeks ago, so this wasn't just a bad day in the kitchen. Nor was it because Chef Pisano was away on holiday, he walked through the dining room midway through lunch.

The Caesar salad was good, well-dressed, but quite small. My friend enjoyed his Tuscan kale salad well enough, but no raves, not even worth mentioning. The service was good, professional, welcoming and attentive without being intrusive.

But in my world restaurants don't get 3 strikes, only 2 when it comes to food, and Tulio's wiffed badly, so for the foreseeable future, it's off our list.

It was as wonderful as always. Don't miss the Kale salad (at lunch) or the Sweet Potato Gnocchi. And try to save space for superb Tiramisu and espresso.

The food and service were wonderful and first rate. The one disappointment I had was when I received the bill and there was an additional 5% added for "supporting wages." There was no mention of this in the menu or anywhere else that I saw. I must admit this arbitrary addition left a very bad taste in my mouth and influenced me to reduce my additional gratuity.

We went there for Easter Brunch. Our reservation was for 11am, we were seated promptly. The staff was very attentive and courteous. The restaurant was busy but not overbooked. A few custom order requests were handled easily. The food was very good. We were back in our car by 11:50am. Everything was perfectly timed ... we never felt rushed. We plan on going back there again ... soon!!!

Great food but they politicized the restaurant

Ambiance at the restaurant was damaged by a management policy. Sadly, the management has opted to use a recent city policy to add 5% surcharge to the dining bill. They print their political message on the menu. Instead they should simply raise their restaurant prices 5% to meet the costs of operating the restaurant, should increased revenue be needed. There current practice is offensive. They are politicizing my dining experience. Not so smart. I should mention that the food and service was quite good ...would have received a much better rating if they didn’t send the not so subtle message on their menus. I would love to see them remove this message from all their menus to improve my dining experience to excellent.

Disappointing experience , brought Ny guests for a business dinner . The venue has become very tired :(
Sweet potato Gnocchi was recommended but it was over cooked and very dry , the Pork shank is also a specialty but it was tough , chewy and dry .
It was a Monday night so maybe no one was checking the meal quality .....
I used to enjoy this restaurant for special occasions but it seems to have lost it’s luster .

We were dining with an 85 year old family member and a 7 year old granddaughter. Both needed help with the menu selections and the server was not helpful, and in fact, bordering on rude. The restaurant was nearly empty at 5:30 so he wasn't necessarily hurried - just abrupt. We should have checked menu before choosing Tulios - not many choices for a 7 year old.

The food was horrible. I’ve ordered linguine, my pasta came out bland, and my pasta was filled with liquid. The dish should change to pasta and soup not linguine. Our sever, did as little as possible! He brought us bread, nothing else to dip our bread in. In addition, when our entrees came out, the young lady drop our entrees down like she careless for us to be there. I’ve asked the server for crush pepper flake, and he never came back with what I’ve asked for, nor did he care to ask how our foods were tasted. How disappointing and I would never come back to this restaurant!

When we arrived, we were seated next to the kitchen window. When i asked to be moved, we were ignored. When the hostess said that the table we pointed to, near ours, was for a "special birthday" i said "We are here for a birthday , too!" She said nothing. I found this very rude. I was with my daughter, turning 19. She was kind about it. I was upset and almost spoke to the manager. We called a nearby restaurant and would have left if they had a table open. Next time, we will call them first. The wait staff was insensitive, the food was nothing special, there was an elist attitude, which, we couldn't understand reason for. We won't recommend it, and we won't reserve on open table again. It seemed to bias our table selection in a negative way.

This restaurant is a traditionally good Italian "go to" for dinner prior to a show. The pasta is excellent. The menu had many interesting options (though the dessert menu did not make us want to have one of everything.) The (apparently) all male wait staff did their jobs but were not particularly personable. That's OK if the goal is to "serve a meal" but if one wants to have a "great experience" then more is necessary.

Good Italian fare .. innovative .
Burrata is good and done with Carmelized pears.

Pekoe mussels are very tasty and are on of the best dishes. People who were there loved the sweet potatoe gnocchi.

I had breakfast there too and they have a great omelet of the day with coffee And homemade jam.

Date night with my wife. We had no deadline for departing so we made it a leisurely dinner with appetizers, 1/2 bottle of champagne, two courses and wine. A highlight was our server, Ricardo. He was very knowledgeable and attentive. We had a booth which is much preferred at Tulio as tables are close together.
Sweet potato gnocchi is an item of fame at Tulio. We tried and enjoyed but did not think extraordinary. The trout with greens was an excellent appetizer. When asked, Ricardo suggested we select from their fresh made pastas for our Primi course; we were more than pleased. For Secondi I chose the swordfish which was excellent and a healthy portion.
Tulio's wine list is, naturally, very heavy to Italian. Only disappointment of our experience was wine list showing a 2012 Italian red blend with which we were familiar...the bottle came to our table and it really was a 2014. We turned it down and ordered something else. I know it is tough to keep wine lists current.
