Tulio Ratings and Reviews
Went for pre-theater dinner on a Wednesday. Promptly seated at booth near kitchen, probably because we were dressed casual. A little noisy but bit bad. Server was great, attentive and helpful. Took our drink orders, suggesting a specific whiskey for my wife's sidecar. Appetizers of gnocchi and butternut squash soup were both great. Entree of agnolotti was good, one of risotto was too peppery. Dessert of pecan tart was super.
After enjoying dinner several times we made our first reservation for brunch, entertaining guests from the other Washington.
The service was good from our servers, keeping our coffee and water glasses full.
The food was quite tasty but things were forgotten. My husband’s omelette came with toast. The server asked him what kind & he requested sourdough yet no toast ever came and we couldn’t flag her down to get it.
We were impressed by the friendliness of the staff. Many upscale restaurants where we have dined emphasized that they catered only to a certain economic clientele - not the case here. The food was special and unique. We were there about 2 hours. We were never rushed to vacate a table. We have already recommended Tulio to several friends
Tulio continues to be a favorite, with excellent Italian standards and specialties, comfortable atmosphere, and friendly, efficient service. Perfect location for before or after a show. The only thing I'd recommend is this: Since the restaurant doesn't open till 5, it would be awfully nice to have the bar open at 4 or so, enabling people with 5pm reservations to arrive a little early and have a drink before dinner.
Very slow prosecco service...actually brought same time as dinner wine.
Tulio’s has gotten more expensive though same offerings......food prep was excellent.
Find it quite offensive to find an add on for staff services. We pay our employees the minimum wage and do not ask patrons to pay it for us and then attempt to disguise it as a surcharge.
The food was wonderful and creative, basically Italian themed. We started at 5:30 when conversation was audible, but the noise level was fairly high by 6:45. They had great house wines, service was attentive but not obtrusive, and they were attentive to our need to get to our event on time. We were very pleased and will definitely go there again.
We celebrated our anniversary at Tulio and had a wonderful experience overall. Our waitress, Revecca was outstanding with taking care of us and making recommendations. The woman who bused out table was also excellent in that she was very attentive and subtle. There wasn't any intrusive asking if we wanted more water, etc during the dinner. The food was also excellent with our favorites being the pear salad and the pork tenderloin for the main course. It was so tender--falling off the bone and seasoned perfectly. We shared this as it was more than enough for two people. We also enjoyed the light dessert that was recommended which was like a light ice sorbet-not too sweet with berries. All in all it was a "perfect" evening and we highly recommend this restaurant.
We are regulars at Tulios when we are in Seattle.
The pork shank and Gnocchi continue to be outstanding.
I enjoyed my Risotto; but would prefer not to have as much onion in it.
Also, we prefer the original Pistachio Semi-Freddo with chocolate and candied orange, rather then the new one with only fruit. Still good, though!
We have been visiting Tulio for many years and it is the destination restaurant for us when we are in Seattle. We are always treated with wonderful service and fantastic food. It is simply the best! Congrats on your milestone anniversary! Love, love, love!!!! Can't wait to return!
Took my girlfriend here as a 3rd stop of a progressive dinner for her birthday. Wait staff was very nice, food was great! Very nice a romantic itialian spot. Not the biggest portions but it was delicious regardless. I got the agnolotti, which is one of the few vegetarian options, and was very good. My girlfriend got the orichiette which she also really liked.
We LOVE Tulio! We travel to Seattle once a year for meetings and stay at the Kimpton Hotel Vintage where Tulio is located. The staff is fantastic, remember us from years past, and are courteous, informative as to the cuisine, and superbly attentive. We recommend Tulio to anyone spending time in Seattle.
We had planned for a pre-theater lunch at 11:45A, arrived at 11:20A and were quickly accommodated, not knowing Tulio’s served only brunch on weekends. Though we were
all anticipating some great Italian fare, we half heartedly settled for breakfast. The sweet potato gnocchi was very good, the ham side a bit dry, the rustic bread with eggs, ragu & hollandaise and regular breakfast fare were done well, we left feeling full but unfulfilled. I’ve had several really great dinners at Tulio’s and service is always on point. It gets pretty lively when the bar is full but there are times when an intimate meal can be had. Will return another time for dinner.
Visited for my wife’s birthday. Arrived before our reservation, and chose to wait at the bar for a cocktail. Seamless transition to our table when it was ready (early, btw!). She had duck, I had a classic pasta dish - both were wonderful! Great ambiance, great food.
the food was outstanding, but VERY LATE in arriving to our table. The waitress apologized and our entire meal was comped. Though upset about the mix up, we were satisfied that they were quick in stepping up to make amends. We will return. The food is worth a return visit.
