Since its inception, Tulio has been a regular on restaurant awards lists, thanks in no small part to Chef Walter Pisano, whose cooking is inspired as much by his travels through the Old World as his Italian roots. Tulio’s dishes are simple yet sophisticated, combining rustic Italian preparations with local ingredients to create bold flavors and an unforgettable dining experience. Recognizing that our guests have different tastes and dining preferences, we proudly offer several gluten-free, vegan and vegetarian dishes on each of our daily menus. Dinner for my birthday with 8 friends. Our service was excellent. Guillermo was wonderful!
As usual great food...great service..great ambiance.
My lunch and dessert yesterday were possibly the best I've had ! I had the lunch special pizza and it was over the top delicious. Dessert was something pistachio (?) that was perfection. I loved it all. Thanks Tulio !!!
Great food. They have a vegetarian menu so you do not have to keep asking if there is meat broth or chicken/fish stock in any other menu item. Would highly recommend.
We were celebrating the birthday of a family member in their absence. Tulio is also where we were married in 2006 - in the upstairs area. I can only describe our service as “hurried”. We were there for lunch with a 1:30pm reservation. Our server was in a rush and didn’t truly listen to our requests, instead dashing off to do something else. I don’t want to blame the server as it seemed they were supporting the whole dining room. We were left with the impression that the restaurant wanted us out quickly ... because we were at the tail end of lunch? Unsure. We had to have the young man clearing our appetizer plates find our server so we could order wine with our entrees. The entrees arrived and then our server to take our order. We have loved Tulio for years and this experience was a disappointment to us both. Not sure when we will be back.

I was treating a gluten-free friend for dinner. How terrific that Tulio provides a separate menu that shows the large selection of non-gluten dishes. Everything was perfect including the food, service, ambience.
Thank you for taking the opportunity to reach out and share with me your recent experience. We are so pleased our dedication to serving all guests with amazing vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free options was experienced by you and your party! Looking forward to your next visit! Server was very good. Food wasn’t great. Noisy

Sunday brunch before a theater matinee with girlfriends. Food was good, but would have liked more options on the menu. With a round table for six, we were set up in the middle of the restaurant and constantly feeling "in the way" of servers or other patrons trying to squeeze by us. It would have felt less in the way had we been at a rectangle/longer table versus the round. Service was infrequent - we never felt rushed, but we also were not offered a second round of beverages. She just brought our bill and then we asked if we could order another round. Everyone really enjoyed their food, the coffee was wonderful and the brunch cocktails were very good.
Thank you for taking the opportunity to reach out and share with me your recent experience. I deeply apologize the customer service you received at Tulio did not reflect our five diamond standards. We haven't been to Tulio's in a while, but it was as great as ever!
Overall wonderful experience extending our theater night experience.
Food and drinks where phenomenal and the restaurant had a great ambience and very friendly staff. Great for a pre-show dinner at the 5th ave or a general nice dinner out.
Another lunch at Tulio. Another fabulous experience! It's gratifying to be recognized as a returning customer and warmly greeted by your server; it sets a tone for a truly exceptional meal. And we were not disappointed. This was one of many, many visits my friend and I have made to Tulio for lunch. We were easy customers, both ordered the fabulous chicken and avocado salad, along with bubbly and a delightful rose. But what was best about this meal was the careful attention that Miriam paid to us--confirmed by the house manager making sure that we had been well taken care of. And we had! We'll be back. Mille grazie Miriam e Tulio!
Always too loud at Tulio's for us; but that is how restaurants have become.
As usual, our pork shoulder and risotto and gnocchi were splendid. We should not have ordered the salad; it was basically just a greens salad - nothing special and quite bland and dull.
We were pretty disappointed with our visit. For starters, the hostess tried to seat at us at a table that was right in a heavy traffic flow and seemed reluctant to move us upon request. Our server was late to the table and didn't even ask if we wanted drinks, just launched into the dinner menu and asked what we wanted. I ordered the $39 Rib Eye and while the flavor was excellent, the cut of meat was really poor, not even 1/2" thick. I would have expected more from Tulio.

As always- excellent!!! Great good, service and atmosphere. Has never disappointed 😁
Waiter was really funny and entertaining. Don’t eat at fancy places much, so I spent a bit extra money for a more fun experience. Got an awesome wine and had a fantastic steak.
We have gone here for Valentine’s Day dinner, most everything is really good. This has been the only time I’ve had issues.
The table we sat at was in an isle, and being kicked and hit by everyone walking by. It was incredibly hard to be relaxed and enjoy my meal.
I would definitely recommend and return here for dinner anytime, still the best dinner spot in the Pacific Northwest hands down.
They serve me spaghetti with butter
Thank you for taking the opportunity to reach out and share with me your recent experience. I deeply apologize you did not care for the food. Although we don't server spaghetti with butter, unless on request, I would love to hear more about the experience you had and share the feedback with our Executive Chef. Wonderful evening. Celebrated Valentines Day with my beautiful wife and her sister and husband from Eugene. Waitress Stephanie took great care of us and food was incredible. The Branzini didn’t get deboned very well, but it was still tasty.
Wonderful experience! Perfect for a special occasion.
Service and food was outstanding! Great romantic atmosphere.
Outstanding in every way!
This is a great place! We had a wonderful meal and good service on a very crowded night. Where we were sitting seemed a little crowded, perhaps because the ceilings are fairly low. My only complaint is the wine is over priced.
The food was so so. My lamb entree had several fatty/gristle pieces out of the handful I got and the romaine heart was tossed too heavily with dressing. My date said the veggie calzone was extremely bland and the size of potatoes were sold as "whipped" but super lumpy and she didn't want them. Service was incredibly slow - it took nearly 20 minutes to get a cocktail from the bar and we were done with entrees and getting to leave before it came out. The server stopped by several times to remind us they hadn't forgotten it.
The drinks were the only high point. The food was bland and forgettable but the cocktails were good (when they showed up). The Suntory Rains was essentially a highball but my date got the Peacock and the non alcoholic hibiscus drink with gin and thumbed up both. Next time we'll go just for the bar and skip the food. For the price the food just isn't worth it.
Thank you for taking the opportunity to reach out and share with me your recent experience. The food was good, not great. Portions were small. Service was prompt, maybe too prompt, it felt like the server was trying to turn her table. Bread was good and the pasta was handmade, both pluses for sure, but I wouldn’t return. There are too many very good restaurants to eat at for the same price point.

Wow Our server was over the top awesome! We we loved our food!
The food was outstanding, some of the best I've had in Seattle. The star of the show was the sweet potato gnocchi! OMG - delicious doesn't do them justice. Each of the 5 of us had a different main and all were outstanding (I know I'm repeating myself, but really it was all outstanding!). Can't wait to go back next time I'm in Seattle to try their menu again.
The food was okay, nothing spectacular at all. Went for the ambiance and it was nice!
Super nice people
If you are looking for a quiet meal, go for lunch, not dinner. The food and service are excellent.
Service was wonderful! Our server was friendly, efficient and knowledgeable about the menu. He was attentive without being obtrusive. It was a lovely overall dining experience and the food was incredible. The seafood was so fresh and abundant in our dishes.
Highly recommend it!
When we come to Seattle Tulio is our go to place. Food is always on point and the staff are wonderful.
Everything at this authentic Italian restaurant is wonderful. We had the gnocchi which I highly recommend. It’s the best gnocchi anywhere, crispy on the outside and fluffy. Next up was the squid ink pasta with pork belly. Incredible. Then the main course a juicy tender pork shank with perfect whipped potatoes and greens. All was absolutely delicious. My only disappointment was I didn’t have room for dessert... maybe next time.
Enjoyed our dinner very much. The specialty cocktails were delicious and interesting. Service was spot on.
I booked the place at least two weeks prior to the event (birthday) and I absolutely regretted it. Never recommend it to anyone and will never ever go back there even if they serve food for free

Came for lunch with colleagues. To our surprise the restaurant was very loud with other patrons, it was difficult for our group to speak to each other. Food was great and service was also good and it was very busy. Will definitely return.
Wonderful experience!
Nice Saturday night family dinner.
Definitely very noisy. It’s difficult to have a conversation without speaking loud enough so it’s heard by many. The table spacing is also a little tight.
Had guests in from out of town. Both commented that their dinners were the best they’ve ever had of their respective types of food. One had pasta the other a duck dish.
