   The service was outstanding. The food was delicious! My husband had halibut which was perfectly prepared. I had the pork Milanese which was huge and very tasty.

   We enjoyed a very nice dinner that began with Tulio’s version of an old fashioned/espresso and a rum aperol cocktail. We enjoyed the burrata beet appetizer and ended with the Halibut special and the pork milanaise Service was exceptional

   My husband and I dined here for dinner while in Seattle for a conference and we were staying at a nearby downtown hotel. We had the Cesar salad, leg of lamb and pasta with mussels along with the chocolate pot for dessert. Everything tasted amazing. We would definitely return to Tulio if we are visiting Seattle again!

    Caesar salad over dressed, bread looks crusty but soft and tasteless, halibut overdone and stiff, not flakey. Great service, orecchiette excellent!

    Desserts were a disappointment, nit up to the same standards or level as the rest of the menu. The Pot de creme, for example tasted more like a flourless chocolate cake than a pot chocolate de creme; the lemon-olive oil dessert was much better!

    Our party of four ordered the beet appetizer and bread selection, tagliatelle with mussels and sage raviolis, and ended with decaf americanos, the olive oil cake, pot au creme, and gelato. The food was fine, nothing extraordinary. The fact that you have to pay for bread (and not particularly great bread) makes this Italian cringe. Our waiter, though thorough and efficient, had a sour face the entire time and made us feel like we were intruding. Honestly, there is much much better Italian cuisine in other places (including my home) - Tulio is more a nostalgic journey to better dining years ago.

    Lovely meal on our last evening in Seattle. All of our starters & entrees met with approval: orecchiette with sausage pasta ; NY steak with cauliflower potato gratin; chicken with charred lemon risotto & special fish of the day, halibut with a basil pesto . Starters included steelhead cured with a fennel cream & burrata with beets & blood orange slices & a classic Caesar salad. We even had dessert: affogato ( gelato , expresso & crumbled brittle; and a creamy desert with a strawberry jam bottom which I don’t know name of & wasn’t on the menu. Our waitperson Andy was charming & helpful . I have a gluten allergy & always appreciate the kind attention I received.

    Chicken dish two of us ordered was SUPERB, and service was great! I live in Oregon; used to visit for 2-3 weeks a year--had not eaten there since 2017--and the wait staff remembered me.

    What a wonderful place to celebrate our 24th anniversary… the staff was outstanding, starting from the young lady at the hosting stand to the incredible bar tender..     Appetizers were good we got bread and the Cured Steelhead. Although they weren’t anything special. Ravioli was extremely disappointing, tasteless and heavy on greens and hazelnuts. A portion of the mussels were clearly under cooked. Our waitress was very nice however the older gentleman shadowing her stared over my husbands shoulder down his glasses most of the meal. Very uncomfortable, the only thing we could think of is that he didn’t approve of how my husband ate the muscles. Nearly impossible to hear each-other or the staff. We will not be returning.

    Excellent service. Highly recommend the Chicken with lemon risotto. Stay away from the sausage pasta dish. It was a plate of sausage grease which is the reason for the low food rating. Mentioned this to the waiter and he just wanted to move on to dessert. Did not want to make a big deal about it so as not to ruin the evening. Just didn’t eat it.
