   We had our second lovely dinner at Tucker‘s Tavern, which has a fun and welcoming ambience, great entertainment, creative cuisine, and a sunset view of Barnegat Bay.

   Very disappointed, my wife ordered Fish and Chip dinner. Being at the Jersey Shore, a block from the water, one would think it would be battered and cooked fresh ! NOT THE CASE ! … it was a frozen pre-made fillet! ….fries were limp not crispy and the coleslaw was pretty much a fork full , VERY small portion of coleslaw. Not what I was expecting for $ 35.00 ….. I have worked as a certified Executive Chef in restaurants and country clubs for 45 years, so I know my way around the industry! Don’t enjoy giving bad reviews 🤔 , but I also don’t like being taken advantage of!! 🙏

   We had a great time. The food was amazing, everyone loved their meal and our server was excellent. Highly recommend!

   Great spot. Great food. Service was very nice. Little wait on the food but was a busy weekend early in the season.

   have dined at Tuckers many times and always had a good experience. this Sat, April 19, was very different. very slow and poor service. waitress brought our drinks well after appetizers were served. blamed it on the bar staff yet we saw our drinks sitting for at least 10 minutes. two entrees were overcooked. a burger that was ordered medium rare, came out extra well done. even though the waitress acknowledged it was over cooked...and mentioned other customers had a similar experience...there was no offer to provide another properly cooked burger, remove it from our bill, provide desert or drinks, etc. restaurant was not very busy and nowhere close to "in season" busy. very disappointed.

   Great food and services as usual. The large seafood sampler app was fantastic, full of shrimp, pysters, clams, and tuna. A bargain at $45. Great place for kids.

   Though the casamigos drinks were a little pricey, the drinks were made rather well. Service was excellent. Very attentive. Food came out in a good amount of time allowing for socialization. The crispy half chicken dish and the flounder piccata dishes were excellent. Looking forward to our next time there!

    We all had basic bar food, calamari, flatbreads, and burgers. Everything was well prepared and we really enjoyed it. Our server was really great, and although she gave us her name, I regrettably don't recall it. But she was very patient, took great care of us and has a teriffic personality. We'll be back
