Great food and ambiance!
We arrived a half hour early than our reservation to have a drink at the bar. The bar is large and only had 2 other customers. The bartender came over and handed us a drink menu and NEVER CAME BACK. The bar then got a little busy and she took care of all the other customers and left us standing there with cocktail napkins in front of us and no drinks. At one point I walked across the room and told her we were ready to order when she was but that made no difference. We remained drink-less until our reservation a half hour later. We sat and ordered. I ordered the ravioli with crab meat and shrimp. Although it was delicious, they only give you 4 raviolis and the “lump crab meat” was non existent. Our server was very apologetic and he bought us a round of drinks, which I must say ended up being the coldest, most refreshing Coors Lite we’ve ever had. We enjoyed them very much. He was amazing and very attentive. Yes I’d go back but I would make sure I eat an appetizer first because I did leave still a little hungry. And I will order my drinks at the table.
Restaurant is beautiful. Our server was not good. Had to ask for bread and just got the overall impression he would rather be somewhere else. Husband ordered the filet medium rare recieved a dry barely medium steak. For $40 should be perfect.
It was great! Appreciate the gluten free options
Steak was unbelievable tender
Food is good but pricy. Service is adequate but nothing special.
I didn’t get any points registered to my account
The half chicken entree was amazing!!
Food was good, service not so much. Most probably it was our waitress, she seemed very distracted. We ordered two dishes exactly the same, she thought it was going to be shared. Also, when we needed her, she was nowhere to be found, at the moment of getting the check, for absolutely no reason she did not passed it to me, instead, she put it o the other side of the table. It was a weird experience in terms of service.
Awesome atmosphere. Great food
Great vibe, amazing service (friendly, happy, kind, approachable, energetic). Live music (great songs), adult and child friendly. Fun, clean, good menu options.
Wonderful experience and gives us a great feeling for LBI
This was probably the worst service I have ever experienced. We made a reservation online and specified we wanted the restaurant area for seating. We get to the restaurant and they are swamped. No biggie, we made a reservation, so we aren't worried. We go up to the hostess counter and three employees are up there, all visibly flustered and confused. We then are asked to follow the hostess to our table. She tells us they seated someone else at our table. She suggests we sit at the bar. We explain we are under 21, but she says it doesn't matter, it's fine. Regardless, we didn't want to sit at the bar, and we insist we don't want to. She tells us to stand by the hostess/host stand until they figure something out. We wait about 3 minutes, then she takes us to another seating section of the restaurant. We think this will finally be solved. We are then seated at this high top up against a second bar where they are making drinks for seated customers. We are right next to traffic of people walking through, and we have employees cussing right behind my ear as this table we are at is practically in their work space. We are getting more and more disappointed. Then a man comes over who appears to be a manager, he didn't introduce himself. He asks how everything is. We said we aren't happy playing musical chairs. He says he is sorry and walks away. He does nothing else. We also happen to see empty tables still open and we are still confused as to why we are seated at probably the worst seat in this place. My partner decided to talk to the hostess again and point out these empty tables and if we could please move because we had a reservation. She finally moved us to a normal table. The possible manager then comes back over after we moved to a normal table and says "ah I see everything got worked out!" which was strange since no on seemed to care to do anything. No discount, no other apologizes. Basically, everyone seemed like they had no idea what they were doing.
We were disappointed not to have a view of the sunset and our entrees did not come out for 45 minutes after a soup appetizer was delivered to one of the people in our party. We had to inquire several times how much longer it would be.
Patrick went out of his way to accommodate the special dietary need of the table.... AK FOR PATRICK!!
Food was less than average. Burger was overdone after asking for rate. Service was slow and at some point non-existent. Our server got lost and had to get check from whomever was walking by. Very disappointing given we have been coming here for years.
Amazing service, great atmosphere and food was yummy!
We had a reservation- the check in process was extremely disorganized. We had to remind them 3 times who we were. We were finally seated and not approached by any staff for 15 minutes. We left and went somewhere else to eat .
My family and I went to Tuckers Tavern and were pleasantly surprised. Our waitress was very nice and recommended several dishes - including an entree special that was delicious. There was live music in the bar that night so we stayed until closing to enjoy the music. It was a great evening. We will definitely be back.
Food was delicious waiter was great. Love the decor very pretty atmosphere.
Our family all enjoyed our dinners and appetizers. All the food was deliciously prepared. The drinks were great as well. Our server was excellent and the entire team there was super friendly. Highly recommend.
Great service, food fresh and delicious. I had the flounder and it was one of my favorites!
More of a family place than a “quiet dinner” place. Food and service was very good. It was priced a bit high for the amount of food in each dinner.
Perfect spot to take my family and daughters friends. My scallop dish wth risotto was amazing. Very friendly staff and kid friendly.
Hair in food
Amazing service. Amazing food. Appetizers were unique and delicious. Chowders perfect.
The waiter was very accommodating and attentive. The halibut special was delicious.
Service was great, food was not good for the price. Was nothing special to make a mark.
Great service and perfect food and drink for pre-theatre
Hi, would return for drinks but the clam appetizer was not great. Kids pizza is like frozen pizza. The wings are awesome, would go back for that and drinks.
We were at the beach for a family vacation and decided to go to tuckers for dinner. We made a reservation had a great meal the service was excellent and the location is great! We will definitely go back again.
Had a wonderful dinner with family and friends. Atmosphere is great. Waiter was excellent.
Tucker’s is okay but too crowded
The tables are very close together and difficult to speak above the noise
Otherwise food was decent as well as service
It took forever to get served starting with water. The flounder tasted very fishy and definitely not fresh. Two out of three couldn’t eat it.
Excellent food, service. Rooftop bar before dinner a must !!! Beautiful views !
Love Tucker’s. Great as always.
We were a group of 10, including 2 children 5 and 2. Our server, Brendan, was incredible and helpful. He exceeded our expectations as he was so helpful, seeing the children happy which, in turn, kept the adults happy!
A reliable LBI dining option. No frills and a little pricey but consistent year after year, so we always return each season. Would like to see a broader menu.
Tierny was a fantastic waitress! Very attentive knew the menu well and made great suggestions
Food was cold and wait time was extended. Lobster Bisque and NE claw chowder were thick and relatively tasteless.
Very disappointing and very expensive. Would not go back
Very Average. Seems like meals are being value engineered while prices rose. Definitely better off season.
