Tucci's Ratings and Reviews
Had a really good experience. My cocktail was OK, I forget the name, allegedly with a little kick to it but not really. Hummus appetizer was excellent; plenty of pita and lots of veggies on top of it. (not for you if you want JUST hummus, but we loved it) I got the veal meatloaf and it was very good; best part was the shiitake gravy on the mashed potatoes. My wife enjoyed the chicken that has a bit of a Hawaiian vibe to it. We carried out the shrimp & sausage pasta for our adult son; he loved it. The sausage is spicy (I sampled) and good. Creme brulee trio was a dessert special; server said the coffee creme brulee might make the menu. I hope so; it is distinctive and special. Bread was not ready when we ordered but we got some with the carry out; very good. The space is a little tight, but not designed to be noisy as so many places are now -- we like it this way. The server was very good. Two thumbs up.
Tucci's is one of our favorite restaurants. We've eaten here many times and have always enjoyed every meal. Great wait staff and atmosphere. The food has always been delicious. If you have a large group (up to 12-14 max, I believe) they have a separate wine room where you can hold your meal, which is great for business dinners and special occasions if your group fits. If you're in Dublin and looking for a great restaurant, you found it here.
We went rather early it was 5 o’clock we had our appointment we went to the bar first; and they were great; friendly; good exchange of humor and the drinks were top notch. At our table we had a very friendly server who was also very patient with us.
She very early, and quickly explained the specials for the day and the rest of the menu. Throughout dinner she would drop by periodically to see if you were OK, remove dirty dishes, and bring new drinks.
It was a great time!
Two cheese is one of our favorite restaurants in Columbus; we will be back!
It was our first time at Tucci's. We were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. The ambiance was great. The food was amazing. Thank you so much for helping us celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary together. It was so good we are going back on Sunday for brunch.
My husband and I went here recently for date night. We highly recommend this restaurant for wine and seafood. They had a great wine menu. The house wines are all reasonably priced and they also offer a more extensive by-the-glass menu in 2oz, 4oz, and 6oz size options so you can do your own tasting or order by the glass. They also had a huge bottle list that ranged from $30 to $200. The calamari appetizer we got had unique dipping sauces that were both good. My husband ordered the surf n turf with a 6 oz filet and scallops. He said the scallops were great but that there was nothing memorable about the steak by itself. We did not try any of their steak sauces. Based on how good their other sauces were that was probably a mistake. He got the asparagus and the mashed potatoes for sides. The potatoes were good and had a unique flavor to them I had not had before. My dish was fantastic. I got the ahi tuna meal (they also offer a smaller sushi dish). I ordered my fish rare (cooked perfectly) and it came with spinach and sweet potatoes. It was a great American dish with a Japanese twist. The sauces were the most memorable part. One was a wasabi sauce and the other was soy sauce based. Overall we were very happy with our dinner and would go again.
This is our second visit and it was just as good as the first! Tenderloin cooked perfectly, as was the salmon. The beet salad was excellent and I’ll have it again. Great wine selection! Our server was excellent...attentive without being overbearing. We will be back
I am about to give up on Tucci. It used to be my favorite, but it is not the same lately. We came for 6.30 dinner, ordered drinks and started with the food selection. Our drinks, wine for dinner, and food came at the same time. The food was just bad. The special snapper for $36 was dry and plain. There is no way we got freshly made dinner in less than 10 min we were there. The only good was the wine list. With so many new restaurants in Dublin, I am really surprised they are treating customers that badly.
Love Tucci's. Service always friendly and top notch. Fish is wonderful. Meatloaf, pasta dishes, steaks. We have had them all and all delicious. Shrimp cocktail and a side salad is a wonderful dinner. Shrimp are HUGE and perfectly prepared. served with two sauces cocktail and remoulade. MMMMM
We visited Tucci's as part of Restaurant Week and to celebrate my birthday. We were seated as soon as we arrived which was nice since it was a busy Saturday night. This was our first visit to Tucci's. The server was very helpful answering our questions. We did look at both the regular menu and the Restaurant Week menu and decided on the Restaurant Week menu which had nice offerings. The food was served promptly and was very good. Our server was very personable (sorry, I can't remember his name). I would definitely recommend Tucci's.
Fabulous bread as appetizer. We sat near the door which ended up not being as cold as we expected. It was amazingly busy for a Wednesday evening, but that added to the ambiance. We were able to discuss a book and hear just fine in the dining room. The service was a little slow, but very friendly. It was an enjoyable 2 hour meal.
Had the scallop and squid ink pasta special. It was good however it came out luke warm. Waitress was pretty much nonexistent and not very friendly. She seemed pretty annoyed to be working. Disappointing considering usually having much better service when eating there.
