Tucci's Cucina Italiana - Salt Lake City
Food was GROSS and tasted old. Nobody at our table ate more than 4 bites of our meals.
Overall very good !
Waitress was pretty rude. Food was just ok. Would not
Eat here again
There was a significant delay in delivery of our meal. We received our appetizers quickly and then waited for an hour for our meal. They apologized and stated there were several large parties in front of our order. We were disappointed in this excuse because other tables around us received their food promptly.
The taste was good but just ok. Beautiful presentation. Service very nice but gone a lot. Like, couldn’t even find her for a while sometimes.
Absolutely delicious, fresh food. Great service and fantastic ambiance.
Good food, great service and fun ambiance. Great for date night or special occasions.
Excellent! Definitely will return.
Was a pleasant experience. Very good service and food, although my chicken was a little dry. Good for family dining. They were also very accommodating with our reservation since we showed up 1.5 hours early. 😁
Delicious food in a great atmosphere. The service is outstanding!
We had such a great experience! I think they opened the restaurant for us for an early lunch (probably not, but we had the restaurant almost to ourselves). We had a group of 10 family members. The food was excellent - we loved every dish we had The service was tremendous. We even had a wonderful serenade. We love Tucci's and can't wait to go again!
Dined on a cold, snowy evening. Very calm and quiet, may not have been a normal night. Food and service were great. Will definitely return.
We were having a issue getting seating for 8. Everywhere was packed and we had a Halloween events in the evening, so time was a issue. Open table said Tucci’s had an opening so we jumped on it, and it worked out great. Service was excellent, food was well above average, priced well, and we enjoyed the meal. Oh, and the location was perfect, a little bit hidden, but perfect.
The food was as usual, amazing. The owner stopped by to check in and we discovered some wonderful facts. As a small locally run restaurant they have had the same kitchen staff for years! That means they value and respect their employees and take care of them. That means more to me than the great food does. We will be back!
The service was fast and friendly and the food was very good. The soup of the day was excellent (light creamy cauliflower & turnip) and the special ravioli with mushroom sauce was delicious! All of their sauces address gluten free so it was very diet friendly for my daughter with celiac. We will be back and have already recommended Tuccis to others.
We were in town for a family event. There were 11 of us. The meal was amazing.
The place was amazing and the setting and lighting was perfect. It was a lil warm where we sat at . The food was delicious.
Food really wasn’t very good. Place was empty while other Italian restaurants on Open table didn’t really gave availability.
First off this place is way overpriced for the food!
The food was not good or special in any sort of way. Believe me, that you will get a far better experience from olive garden and cheaper. The service was not any good either. We had a reservation and we still had to wait even though the restaurant was not even close to being full once we were sat We had to get up and find a server a to take our drink orders because no one ever came. And had to get up again because they never brought the bread out. Seriously bad experience and i do no see how people have reviewed this place so well. The restaurant is just old and dirty. If you want some actually good Italian food try Valters Osteria. Or just stick with olive garden!
Awkward experience. Host was eating when we arrived and acted annoyed we came in. Seemed very informal. Waiter didn’t if we needed anything to drink. It was just okay.
Everything was great except one of our party found a hair in their salad right off the bat. Then when our server brought a new salad it was half the size as the first one.
My wife and I went here for our last meal in Salt Lake City before heading back to the East coast. Service and ambiance were both very good, but since we were eating earlier than normal, I don’t know how it would be if it were busy. The food was a bit mixed...some items very good while some , in my opinion, needed a bit of correction. Those that needed improvement were the spinach/artichoke dip (the cheeses used wasn’t melted and fluid so it was hard to pick up) and my risotto and seafood was drier than normal requiring the addition of olive oil. The bread, calamari, my wife’s steak with tomatoes and capers and the spumoni for desert were all great.
This was our first visit to Salt Lake City and I went on the internet to find a restaurant open on Sunday evening. We were pleasantly surprised. Both the service and food was very good. They have a very good menu with lots of choices for everyone. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for dinner.
We made a reservation for 4 people at 5:30 on a Friday. It wasn't very busy when we entered and we were sat immediately. There is a large menu from which to choose and each person at our table ordered something different. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Service was great too. As we left an hour later the restaurant was filling up and definitely busier.
The chef did a fantastic job in preparing our meal. Was our first time at Tucci’s on a recommendation of a friend from Provo. My wife had chicken piccata and I had risotto prepared with shrimp, scallops, clams, mussels and calamari. Both of these had excellent flavors, were prepared perfectly, and everyone that enjoys true Italian food should have a meal at Tucci’s.
Great food! Our waitress made a couple of great suggestions, which we obviously took. Attentive without bugging us every 5 minutes. Made a reservation as it was Friday night, but it was not terribly busy and we would have gotten a table if we would have just walked in. Patio looked nice, just a little chilly the evening we went.
I’ve always enjoyed Tucci’s at this location. It’s relaxed and unfussy but the staff is attentive. I rate the food 4 out of 5 but only because I’d like more mushrooms in the Bottoni and more “heat” in the Puttanesca. Otherwise, cheers! A very nice dinner
We went there for Father's Day and enjoyed it so much we will be going back soon.
The service was wonderful! Our waitress was so awesome and it was fun to have Papa Tucci himself come over and talk to us. The food on the other hand was pretty disappointing . While we didn’t care for the food, the service and ambiance were perfect and we still had a wonderful night
The food is good, not great. The service was slow.
Pappa Tucci is the best!!! He sang a beautiful birthday song for my friend. So great!
We eat here a lot, when we are downtown attending different events. Service is good. Nice ambience. Food is good. The last time we were there, we ordered an appetizer from the daily special. It was grilled asparagus with prosciutto and parmesan cheese. My boyfriend isn't big on vegetables, but decided to try a little. End result: we both devoured it all. It was sooo good.
I've had much better Italian food elsewhere. I was disappointed.
I came to Tucci's for my bachelorette dinner. I had heard really good things about this restaurant, so I was excited to try it. I was very disappointed to say the least. Our server was good, she got us drinks promptly and was all in all fine. However, the food was horrible! It was cold and mushy. I had a group of 8 and no one was satisfied with their food selection. I got the fettucine alfredo and it looked like a big white slop in a bowl. I am giving it two stars because the service was good, and the ambiance of the restaurant was very nice, the food was just a huge let down.
server brought my husband a second beer even though he did not order and charged us. I told him it was my daughter's birthday and he did not do anything but say happy birthday. All other restaurants we celebrate at will bring a little something at the end. I will not be back.
My whole family had such an amazing time!!! What a great place - we'll be back soon!
Excellent attention received by the server . It was my first time , we will be back soon.
Totally enjoy my nite at Ticci’s From the food to the service and friendliness of the staff. The big joy was when papa Tucci sang happy birthday to my wife in Italian. Made the night!
Wait staff was great. All aspects of the meal were perfect. Had a great evening.
