Tucci Ristorante Ratings and Reviews
We took out-of-town guests to Tucci this week and were so glad we chose this restaurant! One friend is Italian and seeks out great Italian food wherever he goes. He and his wife were both thrilled with the atmosphere, the food and the attentive and friendly service. We all had such an enjoyable meal with great wine and cocktails...even dessert. Thanks Tucci for making our restaurant choice the right selection...we'll all be back!
Great location for my friends and I was to meet in halfway. Great food & place to eat. Friendly environment. Waiter was very helpful and friendly. Did replace a glass of red wine right away without asking for a reason as the first wine tasted blah. I would recommend you to try it out for yourself.
Our first visit to Tucci and what a wonderful surprise. We sat in the bar area and the atmosphere was very cozy and inviting. Our server was excellent and allowed us to eat and drink at our pace. The calamari appetizer, the beet salad, the rockfish special and the filet were all excellent. We will be going again...
My Lady Friend and I have been going out to dinner once a week to a different restaurant for the last 5 months. We are both in agreement that Tucci Ristorante is by far the best one yet. The wait staff were all friendly and knowledgeable the food was excellent, neatly served and hot.

My husband and I went toTucci for our 1st wedding anniversary and had a very enjoyable experience. He is a chef and is very hard to please and so even he said that we will definitely be coming back! The cheese platter was done very well and I loved how the menu describes the differences between each cheese. My filet mignon was cooked to perfection. Portion size was just right. The coffee was delicious and our server always made sure we had a full cup. He brought out decaf for me and regular for my husband every time. Our server was very pleasant and food came out in just the perfect timing. I enjoyed the special service and added details such as always making sure a fresh set of silverware was brought out for each course and filling our waters for us while leaving the bottle on the table for us. The room had just enough lighting, not too dark, not too bright. With beautiful, sophisticated decor. Elegant lighting fixtures. I especially liked all the small strings of lights that hung in the outdoor seating area which reflected through the window at night--very romantic. The music was good (contemporary hits) and set to a proper volume so we could enjoy our conversation. There were so many delicious looking choices on the menu and I want to try them all so I can't wait to come back!
Comfortable outdoor seating area on a warm summer evening. Had caprese with fresh mozzarella which our party of three loved. Bone in pork chop was cooked and seasoned perfectly. Seafood pasta dish was delicious as was the margharita pizza. Our server, Michael, was the best. Very knowledgeable about the food and wine list. Even though he was the only server waiting tables outside, he never appeared to be rushed when we requested something and always checked in regularly to see if we needed anything. A great experience overall!
They dont have a clue about their wine list. This lead so bizar discussions.
Opening a prosecco bottle was a first - so they spilled some of the bottle. It was discounted by 50%, 20% would have been enough though.
The steak was medium to well done instead of medium rare.
Of the 4 fish dishes they had only one available (at 20.00)

So not great, but not bad either. Too expensive though.
Tucci's recently changed their menu, adding a number of pasta main courses to their Dinner Menu. We tried a number of items. Their Bay Shrimp Wedge is a very pretty salad, and they split it for us beautifully. I would have liked the Green Goddess dressing to have been a little richer. The artisan breads they serve are outstanding. We ordered spaghetti carbonara and linguine with basil pesto. Both were terrific, and we can't wait to return to have them again. I thought their meatball was not memorable, but the pomodoro sauce in which it arrived had character. Their tiramisu strikes me as having been the best we have tasted in greater Portland - a must-do for those who love tiramisu!
The food was great this last time we were there, and we have been often. My only complaint is that on some items, they add too much salt. If you order the steak, for instance, ask for no added salt. The salads are excellent and the deserts were also great - tiramisu and berry cobbler. We enjoy eating outside in the summer.
We chose Tucci Ristorante for a family dinner on the last night we were in Lake Oswego. The food was excellent, the service was great, and we were not rushed at all, despite our dinner being scheduled a bit too close to closing time. Even the admitted "picky eater" at the table raved about his meal. So kudos for that! We will definitely return the next time we visit our family in OR!
This was our first time at Tucci. Years of driving by, and always trying to check it off our list, finally led us here with an elevated level of anticipation. We read all of the negative reviews but knew it just couldn't be that bad; but it WAS that bad. The portions are small (one thin, over cooked pork chop) and the flavored are muddled and bland (chicken, salmon and lamb). I so much wanted to write a good review but am sad to say we'll never go back. Oh well, another $225+tip down the drain and lesson learned. Pay attention to the negative reviews!
I had never been to this restaurant before and was pleased with the experience. Our server (who's name is escaping me) was attentive and polite. Our dishes came out quickly and were AMAZING minus the appetizer (calamari) which needed a little bit of work. The aioli needed more flavor and the dish itself was lacking in salt but not a bad dish by any means. I got the risotto, oh my goodness YUM! My husband got the steak which was also tasty. We ended the evening with dressert, I got the chocolate polenta cake and my husband a lemon dessert. We both enjoyed them a lot. The chocolate polenta cake was not overly rich and the polenta added a nice texture. We sat on the patio and it had a nice ambiance. I would definitely go back again.
The occasion was parents 56th wedding anniversary and we came for the quiet ambiance and it is less than 5 minutes from home. The service is excellent but I do wish the food could be better considering the price. It was good but not great. We had a wonderful dinner nonetheless and we truly appreciate the excellent service from Justin.
So happy we chose to dine here! I was feeling the pressure choosing our Mother's Day dinner destination, but what a great find! Our server was awesome!! Very helpful and she checked on us often. She even covered my mom's drink (it was a little strong) even though she had already drank half of it. SUPERB customer service. The food was OMG AMAZING! Everything looked smelled and tasted phenomenal. We will absolutely be back to Tucci!
