Tucci Benucch Ratings and Reviews
The man that sat our group of 5 put us in the small room with the sliding door. Not sure if he did it on purpose because we had a little monster with us and he didn't want us to disturb other customers or what, but it was so awesome. We were able to close the door and have her run around while we enjoyed our meal and conversation.
Food was excellent as always. As well as service. Our server took it in stride, trying to fend off a 2 year old as he was trying to do his job. Props to him! Wish I had caught his name.
We celebrated our daughter's eleventh birthday at Tucci Benucch. We hosted 6 - 10/11 year old girls. They all loved the food and service which were excellent. I think they appreciated having something other than the usual fast food. The restaurant really went out of their way to make everything pleasant for us. I would highly recommend.
The baked spaghetti was outstanding. The roasted garlic chicken classico was very good. The calamari is usually outstanding, but the most recent serving was not quite as good. The red sangria was outstanding as usual. The service time was much longer than usual, but the service staff was tremendously supportive.
Great find in a mall atmosphere. Happy Hour is excellent. We enjoyed it so much that we went back the next evening for dinner. Fettuccine and Chicken Parmesan were outstanding. Bruschetta was the only disappointment as all toppings were cold, including cheese. Their house special Ruby drink is totally over the top-fantastic. Warm bread and oil that comes with meals is delicious as well. Servers and the one Manager Natalie were incredible.
Next time we visit Mall of America, we will visit again for sure.
I have been a faithful Tucci patron since they opened 20+ years ago. Recently they changed the menu and removed some of our favorites... chicken Stostanza and the wedge salad, just to name a few. But we continued to come in almost on a weekly basis.. This time we invited friends ... and we had terrible service, one of the reasons we continue to come in weekly basis is mostly because of the service from Jane, Mavis and Jana ... just to name a few. I was embarrassed because I had said so much good about the restaurant and it did not even come close to my expectations. I know the name of the server and will share that information if requested. I think Tucci can do better!
I brought my girlfriend to Tucci Benucch for our homecoming dinner. We were dressed somewhat fancy and didn't feel out of place, though we could wear very casual clothes and fit in as well. Service was great! I ordered the penne with spicy tomato cream sauce and I thought it was absolutely delicious. She ordered the fettuccine alfredo, which was disappointing- it was very average. However, we both agree that dining at Tucci Benucch was a good experience overall and we'll definitely be back someday!
I absolutely love this place! I had a server who was on it with water refills, giving recommendations, and most importantly very friendly. The best thing I ate was their Baked Spaghetti with Alfredo Sauce; it would make your mouth water. In comparison to other sit-down restaurants at Mall of America, it was worth every penny! If you love Italian food, you must give this place a try!
Good food and atmosphere. We had an exceptionally good wait staff individual who made our trip there even more enjoyable. They were very helpful with any modifications that we had to the menu choices. Pasta, of course, was delicious as was their fish options. Would definitely return when at the MOA.
The waiter asked the chef to accommodate a special menu request which they did for me and my sister. That was very nice. The restaurant kind of stinks like everything in the place needs a solid wipe down with some Pine Sol. Otherwise my family and I really like the restaurant. A bit pricey for noodles however.
This was a wonderful experience for a special get-together with long-time friends. Changes in the reservation were cheerfully coped with; a perfect table was set and ready for us. Our server Charles paced our order perfectly, served individual portions of salad cheerfully, and was attentive to empty drinks and plates. The food here is always wonderful, and the chopped salad is one of our favorite dishes anywhere. (The dessert profiteroles were spectacular also.) And the staff was kind enough to turn the music down so we could have a nice visit. The group of us have dined at Tucci for special occasions for many years, and hope to go on doing so for many more!
