Absolutely wonderful and memorable time at Tuba! We were looking for something new/different and we came upon this Turkish gem on the outskirts of the Mission. Super-attentive service, outrageously fresh and delicious food (no hint of leftover ingredients), and to top it off, the tab was incredibly reasonable. You get huge, disproportionate value for your money, and the Turkish wine was fantastic! Can I really tell the difference between Turkish and Greek food, I’m not gonna lie, I cant. However, here’s what I do know, if love one you’ll very likely love the other (no intent here to disrespect those that can have grown up with either food and have developed a sufficiently nuanced palate to tell the difference). All’s I’m saying is, please do yourself a huge favor and try it!! You will not be disappointed.

We enjoyed a variety of dishes we have never tasted before and they were all scrumptious. Pistachio covered shrimp. A walnut crouton. I don’t remember the Turkish names of course, but I do remember that it was delicious and fun. The staff was friendly, gracious and attentive. The ambience is very comfortable. I look forward to going back someday to sample a few things we didn’t get to.

The wait staff is amazing. Friendly, engaging, and very knowledgeable about their menu.....not afraid to give suggestions. There is a very wide variety of food selections and everything we had was not just good, it was delicious. AND, it was served piping hot even though we were eating outdoors. I will definitely return.

Good place to take a date for Valentine’s Day, the restaurant was well decorated, every woman received a rose on the way out, food was great as usual. Staff was very attentive. Prix fix menu was a great value and we both left completely satisfied.

Food is fresh and well prepared. The Turkish salad is simple but well composed and dressed. The shrimp with garlic and lemon is delicious and not a bad value for the money The kibbeh-like meatballs were a very pleasant surprise. The service is welcoming, professional and very friendly. The stuffed eggplant dish was well seasoned. I was a little surprised that a hummus appetizer wouldn’t automatically come with something to eat it with, but the hummus was tasty. I am not familiar with the salmon dish, but it appeared too saucy for the amount of fish was in the dish. We had to remind the staff of prior requests in order to get the items.
