TS Steakhouse at Turning Stone Ratings and Reviews
this is my second time I have eaten there and I had to send my steak back because it weas not done right. T he steak was dry and tasteless. We have eaten there several times before and the steak you could cut with a fork not this time. I am wondering if you changed chefs My husband ordered the mushrooms and they were tough. We always have ordered them before and they have been delicious. For the price the food should be excellent
For a couple that has traveled to many cities, dined at some incredible, and even some multiple Michelin Star restaurants, and even lived in NYC, I would put this fine dining experience up with most places we have been too. Our server John couldn’t have been more knowledgeable, had incredible tableside manner, and just super friendly and genuine conversation. We will ask for him every time we return. The pork belly was one of the best I have had anywhere...it was a great sized portion and it just melted in my mouth. My wife’s Chilean Sea Bass had really cool presentation and it rivaled some that we got in some of our favorite restaurants in NYC. The heart of the Wagyu Rib Eye was just perfectly done. Can’t say enough good things about it and it is what I will get every time I go back. And for drinks, my wife loved her Cosmopolitan. However, not many drinks I have had anywhere better than the Gotham. The smokiness of the whiskey was incredible. It is more than just a restaurant at a casino. It is a must visit for anyone looking for an incredible fine dining experience.
This was my first time at the Steakhouse. I was a little disappointed getting seated upstairs. I have bad knees and was told the tables downstairs were reserved. We made the reservation through my host a week early. The view was not good from the balcony. I brought 2 guests and wanted to impress them with the view.
Service was exceptional. Food was spectacular, though the Wagyu filet was not quite as good as I expected as the cut was thinner than I anticipated. Would definitely go again, but would not likely get that cut of filet. My wife had the standard filet and it was great.
Always amazing! This is our anniversary go to spot when in NY. I've recommended many friends and family to go at least once in their lives (We live hours away). We are impressed each time we go and have had some of the best meals of our lives here. The filet mignon and the lobster bisque are the best I've ever tasted! Even the mashes potatoes will have you in awe! It's not just a meal, it's an experience to dine here each time. Love it!
TS Steakhouse never disappoints. We had a wonderful date night out to Turning Stone on Saturday night. We enjoyed cocktails and great live music in the TS Steakhouse bar area for an hour or so. Then enjoyed a fantastic meal with excellent service. The crab cake (for me) and Arugula & Prosciutto Salad (for him) were fabulous starters leading up to the main event - the dry aged Cowboy Bone In Rib-Eye for two - which was by far the best steak we've ever had. The wait staff was friendly, attentive, and very knowledgeable. Can't wait to go back!
Wait staff was amazing and so was the food. I had the prime rib and my wife had the filet mignon. Both were prepared just as requested. If you are getting sides, 1 side is enough for 2 people and with an entrée and sides there is little room left for a appetizer or desert unless you don't mind taking it with you, or walking it back your car if you headed to the casino or a show after dinner.
My husband and I went to TS Steakhouse for our 3rd anniversary. We got escargot for an appetizer, which was delicious, but NOT filling in the slightest. I ordered the Lobster Bisque, also delicious & perfect sized! My husband got the New York Strip, it was very good sized, however was not cooked medium rare - it was warm and not much pink at all - he was not very satisfied. I ordered the prime rib which was very good & cooked correctly, also good portion. I also got scallops on the side and those were very delicious, huge scallops. For the side we got truffle chips. I was NOT impressed with at all. They tasted like bar chips. There was no truffle on them to be seen and barely any parmesan cheese as was described. They did bring a complimentary crème brulee dessert which was amazing!!!! Overall it wasn't a bad meal, however for the price we were expecting more. I wouldn't say it was bad, but not worth the $250 bill. However, the service was TOP KNOTCH! Our waitress was very nice, knowledgeable and accommodating the whole evening. We did wait a little too long for our main course, but they were busy.
I admittedly arrived 27 minutes late for a reservation made in Nov 2017. It was to be a fine dining experience for my daughter's 29th birthday. The hostess would not seat us in the dining room ,even though we reserved as a special occasion. We lost the reservation. we were seated in the lounge....the presentation of the meal and meal was far less than I experienced in the dining room...the service was good. I was not given credit for the reservation until I appealed ..
My last visit was not their finest hour....
I take full responsibility for being late...I should have left Syracuse an extra 45 minutes to allow for bad road conditions and crowded garage onsite.
The food was delicious. It may be the best in the region for steaks. The service was top notch although they forgot to bring out a few items most importantly the birthday girls treat that they said they would. That was rather disappointing, but overall a great experience and we'd go back for sure.
All four members of our party had steak (3 filet) that were amazing. We all had different sides that were wonderful too. We started with the calamari and escargot - both perfect as well, and you can't not love the bread they provide. The service is always top notch, although I laughed, when I actually needed something from our server he had to come back twice. No compliants though, everyone is so friendly, the food comes out very timely and the whole experience is fantastic. Not for the faint of heart with the wallet!
