Excellent meal and excellent service. Our first time there and it won’t be our last.
TS Steakhouse was a wonderful experience. The service was exceptional, the food and ambience were outstanding. It is pricey, but for a special occasion, you cannot do much better. We certainly got what we paid for…..an outstanding experience! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
Very good restaurant. Great food, ambiance and service. Staff very nice and accommodating. Went for my parents 65th birthday. Only one small issue was that we ordered mushrooms as a side and never got them but it didn't dampen our experience. Just a little disappointed because I am sure they would have been delicious as everything else. Overall Had a wonderful experience, I would highly recommend this restaurant and would definitely come again.
Can't compare to the best in NYC... Brought out wrong plate brought out, it was corrected. Wait time was long to wait for check.
One of our favorite restaurants with the best view in Upstate NY. The food is top notch and the service is a step above most of what you'll experience north of NYC.
The room is surrounded by windows and we were pleased to see the beautiful sunset. The food was so good! The filet was cooked perfectly and melt in your mouth delicious. Side dishes were excellent, too.
We enjoyed an after dinner drink in the lounge. It was a perfect evening.
A great experience as always. Relaxing atmosphere on a Sunday evening. Just what we needed.
This place use to be good and have an amazing dinner experience and quality steak. It has taken a turn for the worst.
We celebrated my husband’s birthday with a wonderful dinner. Our entire experience exceeded our expectations! Our servers were exceptional and the food delicious.
We celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary here. Our waiter was Ken, and he was outstanding! The meal was delicious and the views were spectacular! I would definitely recommend the TS Steakhouse to anyone who enjoys a fine dining experience.
We stayed at Turning Stone overnight for a concert and wanted to have a fine dining experience. Friends had recommended the steakhouse so we gave it a try. I am a huge meat lover, my husband...not so much. He said he is dreaming about his steak it was so good. I have had many fine dining experiences and love steak and this was among the top 5. We were too full for dessert but the choices looked great. We ordered the mashed potatoes to share which were delicious! I had the outstanding, huge, and delicious shrimp cocktail and my husband almost melted with delight over his French onion soup.
Excellent restaurant, wait staff was very attentive, food was delicious cooked perfectly. One complaint was that we made a reservation a few weeks ahead of time. When we arrived at the time of our reservation, we were told that our table would be ready shortly. It took 45 minutes for our table to be ready and for us to be seated. Not what we expected from a restaurant of this caliber. This needs to be corrected.
Our anniversary dinner was very memorable. The service was outstanding. The meal was equally outstanding.
The food was beyond expectations
Awesome seafood! Excellent food and waiter was attentive. Our only issue was the hostess was brand new and had no clue what to do. We had 5pm reservations and were 8 minutes early so she told us to sit in bar and she would come get us. After waiting until 5:10pm I had to go ask and we weren’t seated until 5:15pm. Other than that, I would highly recommend!
Waite Staff is amazing! Personal touch and fabulous service. Food is way above great!
Great dinner and drinks! Great view! Would def go again
We ate dinner here 2 nights in a row. First night we had an outstanding waitress Teresa , probably the best I’ve ever had. Food and atmosphere were excellent. Second night we had a rookie waiter that started reading us the specials but didn’t finish because the water boy came to our table. The food was still good.
Celebrated a belated Wedding Anniversary and chose TS Steakhouse from multiple previous dining experiences there. The cuisine, service, and ambiance is truly an incredible dining experience. Be sure to catch the beautiful sunset after dinner while enjoying a robust cigar and glass of Cognac.
It was absolutely fantastic
We had a late family dinner here and had a lovely evening and dining experience. Our waiter, John, met all our dietary needs and went above and beyond.
I took my adult son, who was visiting from out of town, to give us an outstanding dining experience together. We were treated to everything we hoped it would be and more. From the beginning were both blown away by the friendly, considerate, attentive, and knowledgeable service by every employee, especially our server. The huge windows surrounding us brought the stunning (countryside and sunset) views as promised. Then there was the food-even more spectacular. We both loved our salads (one Caesar, one with arugula, fig and cheese), our 2 different steaks were tender, succulent, and perfectly grilled. We shared a baked potato with amazing toppings. We appreciated the surprise present of an amuse bouche shooter and a delicious chocolate ganache at the end of our meal. Can’t wait to go back with my husband for our anniversary!
John was an outstanding waiter. He treated us royally and treated us with a special add on dessert for our anniversary and my husband’s birthday. We weren’t really celebrating but we love coming to the steakhouse. Our dinner was delicious, ribeye, mashed potatoes, and asparagus. All cooked to perfection and tasted even better! We enjoyed our favorite chocolate banana cream pie. Fabulous night at TS Steakhouse as always!
Service was outstanding. Renee was terrific. Creative presentation. Will tell everyone I know to try it. Wil definitely come again. Thanks for making our anniversary special!
This was the first time we have been a bit disappointed in TS Steakhouse. It has always been our "go to restaurant" for a beautiful dinner, whether for a special occasion or entertaining customers. This time things were just off....
1) we requested a window seat 3 weeks prior, and we were placed in a back booth
2) the wait staff seemed too busy with other guests to attend to us
3) the calamari was good, but undercooked :(
4) the steaks were good, but nothing special this time
5) the vanilla sundae dessert covered in chocolate was very bland and dry
That special fine dining experience just wasn't there for us. I think we will start trying other restaurants on site.
We have been there before and typically love it, which is why we chose to go there for a birthday dinner for two. We didn't have a great experience this time. A couple came in the same time as us at 5:45pm, (theirs was a 6pm reservation and ours was 5:45pm). They were slightly in front of us, so the Hostess asked what time their reservation was and they responded 6pm and they seated them first, without asking what time our reservation was... they were seated at a nice comfy rounded booth of to the side. They returned to seat us and put us in the middle of the room next to a large pillar with no view when there were several 2 person tables open at the window with a nice view. We chose not to say anything because we don't trust the food when you complain before you eat. We watched to see where they sat others and sure enough an older distinguished looking couple came in and they seated them at the window. The ended up seating another couple next to us (other side of the pillar but you could see each person perfectly and they were pretty close) and the lady ordered seafood and proceeded to sneeze the entire time she ate. I hate germs and I couldn't even relax and enjoy my food because all I could picture was her germs making their way to my food. When they brought out our salads, they proceeded to give us the salads for the couple in the booth, instead of our salads, which brought attention back to the fact they were seated where we should have been. There was also a very large table next to us and they were extremely loud and overpowered our conversation. The environment was completely not enjoyable this visit. I will know next time to ask for a booth or window in advance.
Hands Down, BEST of the BEST at TS Steakhouse at Turning Stone Resort & Casino!
Service was great and when a mistake was made by the kitchen, the waitress did an excellent job of keeping us informed.
Filet was excellent but will never get short ribs like I said in previous review that you never responded too!
Everything on the menu looks great, it’s hard to choose. The servers are always friendly and helpful.
My fiance and I went there for the first time to celebrate his birthday. Finding the elevator in the main lobby was easy. It is very quiet when you step off the elevator and are seated. The waitstaff is fantastic. Very polite and well-trained. The food was delicious but SO over-priced. I've had dinners in NYC, Boston, DC, London, Paris that have cost less for higher quality. I don't think the food or view justifies the outrageous price. Don't get me wrong, the meal was delicious but, in my opinion, there are other restaurants that are just as nice/fancy without spending $300 on dinner for 2.
Our dinner was exactly what I wanted - a nice, well paced 2+ hour affair to catch up with old friends in a nice, laid back setting with delicious food. I’d go back in a heartbeat. Great service as well.
Only minor complaint was sound carries a bit in the restaurant- the group next to us were 4 middle aged men likely doing the same thing my friends and I were doing, but probably with 10 more bottles of wine with the volume dial turned way up
We enjoyed our dinner very much. I especially loved the vegetarian “meatloaf”. The service was exceptional....friendly and efficient. We will definitely return the next time we’re at Turning Stone.
I decided on TS Steakhouse as the place I would propose to my now fiancé. When we got to the restaurant the hostess found us a lovely window table in a quiet section. I met really quick with the manager to hand over the ring and he shared that he was going to have a complimentary dessert brought over with the ring hidden under a tray. And Hostess even took some pics of the big moment for us to have for memories. In the end they even took additional pics of us on the balcony. It was simply beautiful! I say all this to show how much they went to extra mile to accommodate my request and to not only meet but exceed it.
About the restaurant:
The service was excellent from beginning to end. The waitress was by our table within moments took our appetizer and drink order.
Appetizer & Drinks: The Crab cakes are definitely in my top 3 favorites I’ve had. The ratio of crab to breading was easily over 75%. She had the Lemon drop Martini and I had a Gotham (whisky based drink). The drink is brought over to the table and prior to pouring, the waitress smoked some charred wood to get a rich Smokey flavor in the drink. As a Whiskey drinker, I thought it was absolutely delicious.
Entree’s: I had a 26oz Porterhouse (Red wine Demi-Glacé) - Medium was easily achieved even on this very thick cut. The flavoring was spot on. The meat was seasoned perfect and overall taste was amazing. The sauce was a delightful addition.
She had the New York Strip (Signature Steak sauce)- This cut was very tender and while well done was her preferred cook the seasoning and overall flavor was delicious.
Dessert: Crème Brûlée and a cookie. She enjoyed these the next day said it was deliciously smooth and tasty.
All in all: I thought the ambience was nice, the service was impeccable and they exceeded expectations. I would definitely go again!
Great place for dinner Only thing didn't like was someone dropped a whole try of chef recommendations and no one came back to clean the carpet even after I pointed it out to another staff member
Good for special occasion, had the porterhouse, it was ok, I've had better. I would suggest trying something different, maybe the sea food.
Fine dining; very pleasant and efficient staff and outstanding food - as good as top restaurants in Las Vegas.
Food, service and atmosphere was exceptional. View and drinks on the patio just added to the night.
