Always a great evening! Eric, our server, was wonderful. It was a lovely evening celebrating our son’s birthday!
Trulucks was an excellent choice for our anniversary dinner. Especially since we are Catholic and it was Friday during Lent… Phenomenal seafood. The service was impeccable. Extremely happy with our choice for our anniversary.
Eric was great. King Crab was very fresh. Filet Oscar Royale was excellent.
Food and service is always the best. The calamari is some of the best in the DFW area
Again I great dinner experience at Truluck's. Only this time the lobster bisque had a burned taste but didn't want to say anything to your excellent waiter. Was no big deal as my wife was on a diet anyway.
Erik, our waiter, was outstanding! The food was awesomely delicious, as always. All you can eat crab claws....perfection! Love Trulucks!
Fantastic seafood. Shelley was the ultimate professional server and full of Southern hospitality. Good thing I don't live closer or they would get all my coins! Oh, and the desserts are incredible.
Had a great time. Great food and the service was wonderful. Some things a bit pricey but food was great.
Food and service was spectacular!!! This place is definitely highly recommend!
Everything was perfect
Great food , great customer experience
Service was outstanding. Our waiter, Marcus, was extremely helpful with our food allergies.
What a perfect setting for a romantic anniversary celebration! My husband searched for a quiet setting with a great menu to commemorate 30 years of love. We’d never been to Truluck’s but the reviews were good so we gave it a try. It was perfect in every way. We started the evening with happy hour cocktails in the bar, then moved to the dining room. Without knowing it was a special occasion, the hostess seated us in a very quiet, romantic booth ... but we noticed ALL of the tables were configured for privacy. And when the reason for our evening became known, the hostess sprinkled rose petals on our table and we received a lovely, complimentary baked Alaska for dessert. We splurged on fresh crab claws as a starter, followed by two delectable seafood entrees. Both were cooked to perfection with wonderful flavor, and so fresh! It was such a lovely evening we’ll be back for sure.
Our server was excellent most of the food was excellent except the tomahawk steak. It was extremely disappointing for a $150 steak.
This was a combo birthday and retirement dinner. Arranged with restaurant to deliver a gift I had dropped off earlier in the day when dessert was served. Excellent service, food was wonderful and they made the guest of honor feel special. Calamari, crab, scallops, baked Alaska all top notch. Another shout out to our server Alicia Quinn for another excellent experience!!!! This has quickly become a favored dining spot in the DFW area for us.
Our waiter was very personal with exceptional attention to details to ensure we had the highest quality of service. Upon entrance the receptionists were very warm and inviting to receiveing my wife and I. The live music were very soothing for the atmosphere and really made our meal more enjoyable.
Two different types of Steaks and the seafood special of the night were enjoyed by the four of us. All said that the food was done to perfection! We were able to find a good red wine that we could afford two bottles instead of just one (for the 4 of us) so that was good. Since we were celebrating a special occasion, the house gave us a special dessert, baked Alaska - their treat!!! Steve, our waiter, could not have been better...............very personable and great service! Even though we were there on a busy Sat. night, the noise level was such that we could carry on a nice conversation - unlike many Steakhouses. Great for a special occasion!!!
Seems its hard to get a steak cooked correctly. 2nd time this has happened out of last 3 visits. Love the Sea Bass though - it's always great.
Excellent service from server although it took a long time to get our main course.
I can not believe this is the same restaurant I have been to over 20 times. The food, except for the crab cakes was absolutely not worthy of the Truluck's I know. It was like bad pub food. It was so salty that is all we could taste. And the new bread is truly a huge mistake. It taste like something I suspect you might serve at a prison. I hate writing this review, because I have written so many 5 stars in the past, but WOW, I will not be in again until I here major changes have been made. Who is running this restaurant? The service was good, but the fact he couldn't see the weird looks on our faces is why he got 4 stars.
We had a great time. Food is good. Ambiance is very nice. Katherine is superb. She made us feels like special. Thank you so much 😊
They made “our Birthdays” a huge success!! Food, music and service great food
Delicious, service was impeccable, perfect way to celebrate my birthday! The dessert sampler was fabulous - Carrot cake is a must! Best I have ever eaten!
great FOOD FINALLY WENT ON A MONDAY DAY TO EAT THE STONE CRABS CLAWS. THE SERVICE FROM THE FRONT DESK TO THE SERVERS WERE OUTSTANDING. a GO TO FAVORITE OF MINE
Always great when you want a top notch dinner. Much quieter than Bob's Chop! Love Trulucks.
Everything was awesome! Food delicious! Austin our server was great! Wonderful personality!
Amazing evening. Service was awesome, food was incredible!
Great dining, Katherine was an amazing waitress. Most fun and best meal maybe ever. Definitely coming back next time we are in town.
The Truluck's staff made our anniversary a wonderful experience. From the time we were greeted by the hostess, to being shown to the booth with rose petals, to our server who took excellent care of us, to the Baked Alaska... Oh, did I mention the food? Outstanding... We will be back!
It was perfect! My parents loved trulucks! Such a great first experience for them! So happy we choose to celebrate it here!
Our server was amazing. Food was delicious.
It was very frustrating that I had received a gift certificate and I had the reference number pulled up on my phone to use and then I was told that my phone had to be taken physically to the back. My phone was returned and then I was given a sticky note with a very long email address to send my original certificate to. Then after 5-10 more minutes I was told they didn't receive my email. I pulled it up in my phone and was told the address was correct and they were very confused. I then had to text a screenshot from my personal phone to one of the staff (manager maybe?) Very unprofessional and had I been with anyone other than my boyfriend would have been extremely embarrassing because it was being treated as if it was fraudulent, which it was not.
Great service and food. Bartender and our server at the table were both spot on! Thanks for a nice evening!
Our 12 year anniversary dinner started in the bar for happy hour and the personal service AJ provided was amazing. Dinner @ 7p and once again our server was awesome, Cody had big shoes to fill but was up to the task. Amazing service both during happy hour and at dinner made our anniversary one to remember.
We have been there numerous times but, this past Sunday was the worst!
With all the great Steakhouses in the area, i doubt very much we will ever be back again.
Belated Valentine’s Day
Our dinner at Trulucks was a very disappointing experience. I'll start with the positives - our drinks were delicious and the wedge salad was the best of its kind I have ever had. Our booth was lovely and the ambience at the restaurant was nice. However, our server was inattentive and hard to get a hold of when we needed her. She convinced us to order the special fish of the day and the special market price ribeye. We've dined at fine steakhouses all over the country and have ordered market price items many times. I expected it to be significantly more than the price of the other items on the menu, and I was also expecting the quality to shine through. Unfortunately, this was not the case. Although the presentation was lovely, we were quite disappointed in the flavor and quality of both the fish and the ribeye. I was shocked when they brought us the bill and the price of the ribeye was $150, three times the price of any other steak on the menu. Honestly, this restaurant should be ashamed of handling things in this way. "Market price" shouldn't mean highway robbery, particularly for food that wasn't even very tasty. Thankfully, this was an expensive mistake and lesson for me, but not one that I couldn't afford to pay. I can imagine that for many people who come to this restaurant for a special night out, that may not be the case, and that it could be a real hardship for people in that position. I will never again order a market price item without asking the price, but I do think that in situations where they are charging this much, the restaurant should have a responsibility to let customers know that their market price is ridiculously high. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone else, the quality of food is not very good and the value is horrendous. This is the worst example of getting "southlaked" that I have ever experienced.
A wonderful place to go on a date! Live music, delicious food, and a romantic setting.
Overall it was very nice. I ordered a steak. I was not all that impressed with the steak but everything was good. My husband enjoyed his meal of stuffed lobster.
Our service was very slow and it was primarily from the bar. It seemed that the waiter was spending a good deal of time at the bar waiting on the drinks. Overall we were underwhelmed on this visit!
Great as always. Our favorite place in town
