Excellent service and the stone crabs were delicious. Overall to notch experience.

We went for my Wife's Birthday. From the moment we walked in we were treated like we were the most important couple dinning there that night. We had a Shrimp Cocktail, Oysters on the half shell, a Bowl of Lobster bisque and the Premium King Crab leg and a bottle of our favorite wine. The crab leg was 1LB by itself.

Since it was her birthday they treated us to Baked Alaska. Wonderful flavor with a great flaming presentation.

This is not a Budget Crab Restaurant but a great place to go when you want to eat the best quality seafood in town.

Brian took charge of our dinner from the start and did not disappoint! We were able to sample stone crab claws, oysters Rockefeller, a crab cake, salmon with bernaise, yellowtail- and some great sides. Sautéed garlic spinach and an order of the crab fried rice. We brought food back with us along with some carrot cake to enjoy tomorrow. The restaurant is lovely and we were given a wonderful curved booth to enjoy our meal. The two ladies providing piano and vocals were great. So glad we chose Truluck’s for our memorable seafood dinner!

The Service was incredible! From the bartenders to the wait staff, everyone was attentive and thoughtful. This is definitely our go-to place for anniversaries and celebrations.

Sammy was our server and he was wonderful. He made us feel very comfortable with taking our time in ordering, offered input on dinner selections and wine pairing. We enjoyed him very much and we’ll ask for him when we come back. Great guy and an asset to your restaurant.

Expensive but everything was outstanding

Came here for my anniversary. Was not disappointed. Steak was perfect, lobster was marvelous. Braised short ribs appetizer was the best thing ever.

Great meal! Quality seafood, large portions, great setting. I came here based on the reviews I had read and this did not disappoint! Skip the crab fried rice though, a bit overrated. Everything else was a home run.

Food and service were superior and will be a destination location in future trips to the area.

The food and service were excellent. Everything was delicious. We came here for our anniversary and they helped with the celebration by giving us the best seats in the restaurant, flowers on the table, and a free dessert that was set on fire. Would definitely come here again.

We went to Trulucks for my husband's birthday. We had a wonderful dining experience. The food was outstanding and the service attentive without being intrusive. The stone crab appetizers were great and the lobster bisque was the best we've ever had. For dinner we enjoyed the miso glassed sea bass dish that was prepared to perfection. Our waiter totally surprised us with a complimentary baked Alaska for my husband, and even put little glitter right pieces on the table! If you live near a Truluck's you are lucky indeed. (We would be regulars if we did). If you visit a city where they're located be sure to treat yourself to a meal at this impeccable restaurant. They even called us the next day to ask how we enjoyed our dining experience there.

This was our first visit to Truluck's, but definitely not a last. It may jyst become our new favorite spot for special occasions. Andrew was taking great care of us with a nice sense of humor and anticipating all our requests. Wonderful food, creative and delicious!

Good food and cheerful, attentive service. Excellent cocktails. However, very pricey for what you get—we paid over $125 per person for a basic steak and seafood dinner with wine. I would not go back except for a very special occasion—or if soneone else was paying

Enjoyed our first visit here. The salmon and scallops were excellent. Very attentive, engaging service at the outset, but it appeared our waiter forgot us later on. We had to flag someone else down to talk about dessert...after a wait so long that some diners who had arrived after us had completed their meals and had left. Perhaps an innocent oversight, but it left us with a bit of a downer at the end of what had been a great meal, service, and experience.

Fiancé and I had an amazing experience at trulucks. Food were amazing and were explained in details so that we know what we’re getting. The seafood was delicious and fresh never frozen. My fiancé got the salmon and I got the steak and lobster. We indulge in the greatness of food and were so stuff that we almost passed up on dessert. Surprisingly, our waiter came out with an amazing display of lighting up our dessert with flame with a “happy anniversary “ on the plate. Our celebration could not have gotten better than this. Truly felt the experience at dining at Truluck and will definitely come back again. Also live music really set the mood, just wish we could’ve seen it as it was more in the bar scene than dining area.

Great find while visiting San Diego. All you eat stone crab claws on monday night's is fantastic. Service was great. Restaurant was top notch. Seabass was also excellent. Wish there was a trulucks in Seattle.

The atmosphere and service were impeccable; the crab cakes were the best I've ever had and the scallops too. One of my best dining experiences in San Diego.

Food was meh and pricy. The value that we got was much worse than expected. The waiter was great though.

Matt was an amazing waiter and the jumbo stone crab claws were to die for.

Excellent service, ambience and food. Food was served hot on warm plates. I had the yellowtail which was altered to take away the "sweet sauce" and loved it. All of the other diners at my table enjoyed their choices too. The mushrooms were wonderful. The crab rice was delicious.

A great time was had by all. Our waiter facilitated our fun. When we are in town, we always make a reservation.

Excellent experience for dinner on a busy Friday eve. Great WARM bread basket. Delicious entrees beautifully plated. Attentive, knowledgeable, eager to please server. The manager even called the next day to inquire about our satisfaction. Another manager stopped by our table to check on us. Very impressed. Will be back.
