The food & service is always exceptional and consistent. What we truly enjoyed this time was the incredible music duo in the bar. Klay & Maegen were unbelievable. Truly. We stayed as long as they played & wished they could have stayed later. Thanks for the incredible all around experience!
The calamari is always a great starter!
Truluck's is truly one of the best seafood restaurants in Dallas. Service is very attentive and all dishes served promptly. The crab claws are a must try for appetizers or a main dish. The crispy trout and salmon were also excellent. Do try the Baked Alaska for a delicious dessert.
Best salads and appetizers we’ve ever eaten and best service too! Sashimi Salad was over the top
We had a nice dinner with 7 folks and it was excellent!! Our server was fantastic and made our experience top notch all around.
Wir sind begeistert , es war fantastic
Best restaurant in town! I wanted to take my best friend to a nice place for her birthday while we were in Dallas and I am so glad I picked Truluck! Good seafood menu and impressive wine list. Everyone at the restaurant welcomed us and provided great service.
David was amazing. Food was delicious and they made my birthday extra special.
They did everything they could to make it a great evening for our anniversary. We arrived early and they worked to accommodate the change. The food was VERY good (loved it all from the house salad! to the crab claws), our server - Skyler- was informative and helpful, the music was live but unobtrusive, the view with buildings and trees in the sunset was picturesque. Seriously, it was a great choice for a romantic evening.
Service and food was excellent. Sad to see the stone crab claw season end.
Excellent food and service. We will definitely come back.
Great date night place. Good place to celebrate special occasions. Hard to find good seafood in Dallas.
If you have room best desserts in town.
My server was amazing !
Friendly attentive service coupled with delicious food well presented and served at appropriate intervals.
Great atmosphere, good food.
Excellent as usual. Great food and service. Had the trout and redfish and both were great. Salads could easily be split.
The restaurant as a whole was amazing. The waiter and front desk was very welcoming and the food was great. I'd recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants a great experience.
Attentive service. Waitperson was familiar with gluten-free dishes and made helpful recommendations. The food was excellent.
Went to TruLucks to celebrate my birthday. Leslie (our waitress) made this night enjoyable. The band was really good also. I will be back soon and I loved my carrot cake.
Incredible food and great service!
My Mediterranian Seafood Salad, was lousy - deplorable. A bit embarrassing for an establishment like Truluck's. Rock crab was missing and way too many olives. I really pounder, since it is the first time I had such a bad experience over lunch. Maybe the place is having issues!
Everything was absolutely 5 star service and food. Amazing! Will definitely be back!
We went for the all you can eat Monday stone crab. The first plate of crabs was delicious. The second plate of only 4 claws was old, frozen, mushy & tasteless. The sides were old & the hollandaise that accompanied the asparagus must have been sitting under the warmer since the day before. Our table was designated by the "lead" for a birthday dessert which never arrived, though we waited for 30 minutes for our check.
I was celabrating my wifes birthday. She always wanted to try trulucks crableg special. It was also my first time dining at trulucks. It was a very enjoyable experience ! We treat ourselves to a good dining out every once in awhile. I love dining at fine resturantes . I appreciate good service, and food quaility.
I myself as a young man many years ago worked in a fine resturante called Brennans . We, will certainly visit again.
The food was very good. A standout was the Kung Pao Cauliflower - it was absolutely amazing. The Sea Bass and Ahi Tuna were very good as well. I really enjoyed the food. The service was not great. We waited several minutes to even place a drink order. The appetizers came before our cocktails. The oysters were represented to be medium size and many were very small. The waiter didn't write anything down and completely forgot our ceviche. When we realized it, our main course was about to be served, so we just let it go. My last experience there was great and I was excited to go back, but I was not as impressed this time.
It was my birthday. They brought out a celebratory Baked Alaska— it was amazing!
Food was great. Perfect setting for a Mother’s Day dinner. How ever our server was nor friendly and seemed disinterested in our table.
Experience was great dining upstairs! Once we finished dinner we thought it would be nice to go downstairs and listen to the music in the bar. The female that approach us at our bar table was snotty and openly irritated that we had already had food and drinks. She made it clear that we were not welcome!! This brought an abrupt ending to our 6th Anniversary evening! I would fire this female if she were my employee.
This was my second opportunity to visit Truluck's. I am impressed by everything about that restaurant. The food, the service, the Ambiance and every other little thing was done to perfection. It definitely goes on my list of one of the very best places I've ever eaten.
Service was very slow. Dinner took 3 hours and had we had to wait most of the time for each portion of our meal. My main entrée when served was luke warm at best. Generally Trulucks is very good so will try again.
Alex was incredible. He made the experience wonderful for us and our friends. Will be back real soon
Absolutely wonderful! Would definitely eat there again!
Food, service, staff and management are all excellent. A special occasion place!
Wonderful 56th anniversary dinner for my in-laws. Father-in-law rated it as one of his overall top 5 meals in his life.
I took my 79 year old mother for an early Mother's Day lunch. It's always nice to have valet parking, an elevator for the mobility impaired, and excellent service. We both had the power lunch and we both really enjoyed it. I've been there several times before and I wanted to take my mom somewhere nice to celebrate her.
We called at 8 PM after picking up out of town guests and got 9:15 reservations. Greeted by name, great waiter, excellent food. Never felt rushed even tho we were among the last to leave.
Went to Truluck’s for a business dinner with 5 colleagues. The waiter, Michael, was very helpful and great with serving our needs. However, food was a problem. The escargot was sandy and inedible. The bone-in ribeye was ordered medium-rare and came out medium well. The replacement ribeye came out rare/blue. I didn’t try a third time. Not a good sign when a steakhouse cannot get the temperature of a steak correct. Ultimately, Michael made things right and didn’t charge for the steak or the escargot.
My mom and brother loved it! The food, ambiance, and live music added to the experience. We had very attentive service staff
