Truluck's Seafood, Steak and Crab House - Boca Raton Ratings and Reviews
Still my number one restaurant in Boca Raton. Been coming here every year for the last 10 years when visiting my in-laws in Florida. It’s the only place I ever want to go!
The Stone Crab claws are amazing, love the mustard sauce and all the fixings. Fantastic service every time, yummy desserts, and always enjoy sitting on on outside terrace. Thanks to the Maitre’D Jordan for making it happen. Can’t wait to be back for our next visit in April...
I don't know why a lot of people talked about bad service in the reviews. Since the moment we walked in the door from the host/hostess to the bar tenders, and to the wait staff, everything was great. Everyone was all smiles, and we were not rushed. The noise was at a good lower level so the 4 of us could converse without screaming across a table. Even the piano player at the bar was not overbearing. Water was constantly refilled without us having to ask. The food was a good 4 stars. Less salt and crème on everyone's dish so you can taste the food more would make it better. Our waitress had a bunch of tables yet still managed to take care of us with kid gloves and great care. Overall the 4 of us would definitely go back.
The food was very good overall, though a bit pricey given the portion sizes. Service on the night of our visit was outstanding. We were seated promptly, the server was very attentive and the courses were spaced appropriately. It was a very enjoyable dinner. Barry Z
Trulucks is our go to place in Florida. Nothing tops of a day at the beach like a fantastic dinner at Trulucks In Boca. Coming from New York, we’re not easily impressed when it comes to steak and seafood, but Trulucks is world class. We can’t wait to enjoy it whenever we are down.
The food, service and setting are excellent. A great restaurant to enjoy with family and friends. We’ve never been disappointed.
Took forever to get our cocktails. This was the time for the rest of the night. I watched everyone at our table wait 15 minutes for their ordered cocktail to arrive.
Food took forever to come to the table, but it was prepared well.
-My wife wanted order a glass of wine and the server took forever to come back to the table
-Needed crackers for the stone crab had to put the ones I needed to break on side while I ate the other four claws waiting for the server to come back. I had to ask another server for crackers because I got tired of waiting.
Pound cake inside bag of chocolate was dry.
Overall the food was good, service was a disappointment especially when you spend that kind of money.
We absolutely enjoyed our dining experience at Truluck's. The wait staff was first class and very helpful. The stone crab claws are second to none. Well worth the price. The food was fabulous and the atmosphere was intimate. Looking forward to our next dining experience!
My wife's birthday is in December so we thought we'd give it a try since we had guests in town also. The first sign was them trying to seat us in a booth next to a kitchen crash cart---I asked to be moved to a table away from the kitchen. Secondly I asked for a very dirty martini and there was hardly any olive juice in the drink. Not off on the right foot I guess. Third, my wife ordered escargot and I oysters rockefeller for appetizers. Both were flat and tasteless. My entree was just ok, my wifeended the nite sick from either her scallops or escargot. We often dine at Abe and Louie's but wanted to try someplace different. What a mistake. For the prices Trulucks charges, which are somewhat less than A&E, they don't even come close to the quality of preparedness. Music was nice. I certainly would not recommend to anyone. I am a Boca resident and will stick with Abe and Louie or Dorsia from now on. the waiter was fine but service just took too long between courses.
Usually a great meal. Went to Truluck's last year for Thanksgiving and had great food, great service, and the added bonus of being seated next to Adam Sandler's table. This year, however, was a completely different story. The waiter service was almost non-existent (the support staff was good). The food came out cold. My wife's salmon was completely raw in the middle. I asked to see the wine menu just before the food was served and the waiter didn't even bring it to me until AFTER I had finished eating. Absolutely horrific experience. Doubtful that we'll be returning again.
