The stone crab was excellent as was the chef’s filet. If you are an escargot fan you will love then at Truluck’s! Our server, Kendall W. was first rate. Ask for him when you come here. Oh, the new rolls are so good I could make a meal out of them. Although pricey the meal and dining experience were worth every penny we paid.
the food and service was excellent. crab and lobster perfect
Dining experience was all that we expected. The food, service and overall dining experience was the best and met all our expectations.
We took my father for my parents 60th wedding anniversary. My mother passed 6 weeks ago. The staff was AMAZING to my father. I am VERY appreciative.
My parents had a great time celebrating my mom's birthday. Thank you so much for making their evening so great!
What a great experience! We dont get out often, but our dinner here was memorable. Can't wait to go back.
They had a table set for us in the back dinning room that was very quiet. The service was amazing and the food outstanding. I would highly recommend this establishment.
Food was fantastic. Our waiter Keith was very attentive. The piano player could have been better but it was entertaining!
Oyster app took 20+ minutes. Apparently food was ready for awhile because when entrees arrived everything was luke warm at best. We were excited to dine out at the restaurant but left defalated
Awesome Anniversary . My hubby and I really enjoyed ourselves. It was our first time there and the service was wonderful.
We had an awesome time and our waiter was the creme of the crop!
We enjoyed Thanksgiving dinner at Truluck's Arboreteum. I especially enjoyed it as I do not like turkey, so had some perfectly cooked scallops. My husband and grandsons said the turkey was great. I did get to taste a bit of their sides which were very good. Our waitperson was accompanied by two or three helpers and the service was good. We all love the Stone Crab so indulged in that appetizer although their Thanksgiving Dinner included an appetizer. We have been to Truluck's for other occasionas as well as just a fine dining out place.
Very nice remodel, great service....I had the surf n turf
Both the food and the service were absolutely fabulous. There was a brief problem when the volume of the ambient music shot up, but they quickly lowered the volume so that we could hear each other talk. Near the end of the meal, the lights suddenly dimmed. The 2 oldest people in our group (75 and 78 years old) thought there was something wrong with their vision. But other than that, fabulous. Definitely going back.
My husband and I had Thanksgiving at Truluck’s. It was absolutely wonderful. The food was great, came out hot, and was very tasty. The service was spot on, we were treated like royalty. It was the perfect place Thanksgiving. Especially since family is out of town, it’s sort of sad not to be celebrating with family. However, eating at Truluck’s made it a special day. Thank you Truluck’s.
$10 for a small side of spinach is absurd. The shrimp cocktail used to be much bigger. but the wedge salad was a good value.
Very nice. Everyone and everything was perfect.
Celebrating college admittance
Went for stone crab claws and they were very good although only medium were available. Great service and wonderful Baked Alaska for dessert. Prices were a little outrageous.
This was my second visit in two days. I love the restaurant. You can count on it to be consistently and excellent in all categories. Our waiter, Fred, was attentive, knowledgeable and personable.
Our only complaint, we were sitting next to a family with a screaming kid. This place is too nice for bringing little ones. We love Rigel Thurston, entertainer!
Your restaurant is at the top of my list for dining. The food, service and ambiance are all wonderful. Love the new yeast rolls. Fred was our wonderful waiter for the evening.
It was fantastic!!
Fabulous as always!
As always the food is great and so is the service. If your looking for good seafood in north Austin, this is the place to go.
Because this a fancy, very expensive, restaurant then I expected the plating of the food to be like a work of art! But it was just plain, old, regular plating. Also, the tables were too small and shoved way too close to each other! I felt like I was in the person's lap next to me. It was hard for the wait staff to move around, etc. awkward....
The food was really bland and just average, but the service and ambience were very and good.
Fabulous way to celebrate a family member’s birthday - we had flawless service, great drinks, delicious food, attention to detail throughout the meal. Top notch!
Crab cakes were slightly burned and filled with too much soggy breading. Way too expensive for mediocre food at best, for instance, sea bass dish. Pretentious restaurant that doesn't pull off fine dining.
Waiter was slow, wiped his nose several times at our table, when he was talking about specials he took offense if you interrupted him and just continued with his spearheaded and ignore you. Not a great night but food made up for his attitude.
Service was best part of evening and the food was perfect. Felt so welcomed and while pricey for two... would have paid more
Kindl was an awesome waiter!! We truly enjoyed the food and atmosphere!
Had our anniversary there Saturday night. Everything about the night was excellent. Best seafood I have had in many years. Will do this again soon.
Amazing! The food was great!
Simply AMAZING!!! 💕 I was beyond impressed and very happy with EVERYTHING! Jason was awesome! Great personality indeed!
The moment you enter through the door great service starts the Hostess, our Table Server, The Managers attention to details. It was our wedding anniversary dinner, we usually go to a high end Steak House but we wanted to try something different this year and Truluck's did not disappoint us.
Great server. The lobster bisque was shared, wish we could have licked the bowl it was so good. We ordered the crab Mac and cheese as one entree and a salmon topped with shrimp as another and shared both. Yum for both. Having the baked Alaska was excellent ending.
The fish on both plates was under cooked and tough in the middle. The fried rice that was supposed to come with it was barely there.
I ordered a bottle of wine from the menu and it took them twenty minutes to come tell me they couldn’t find it.
Overall, a disappointing and expensive experience. They comped one of the peices of fish although both could not be finished.
I’ve eaten at Truluck’s before and been pleased, but not this time.
We did have a good waiter.
Great service, Great Food, Great Place
Server was attentive and dinner was enjoyable
