Quick, informative service. Delicious food that leaves you feeling good.
One bowl (ancient grains) plus tofu and a tiny cup of soup cost over $22. That was pre-tip and just tap water to drink. I was shocked.
The valet parking is a complete rip off. $8 to park in Houston is highway robbery.
There were so many things on the menu that I wanted to try! I’ll definitely be back!
exquisite flavors beautifully blended with very fresh ingredients! a winner!
Live the delicious, healthy food but very loud!
Food and drinks were excellent! We had blueberry pancakes, sunrise bowl, and good earth kale salad!! And watermelon mimosas which were good and were not overly sweet.
Muy buena comida servicio bueno aunque un poco lento
Great ambiance, exceptional quality and taste of food. I usually get great service, but this time, it fell a bit short of my expectations. But it continues to be one of my favorite restaurants, particularly as a family place (since my family is pretty picky and we all have completely different tastes).
Service was excellent. Wish you didn’t put mushrooms in the panang curry. I’ve never heard of that and it’s my favorite dish but due to allergy made it inedible for me. I left very hungry
The food and options are very good. And so healthy.
I love all the fresh beverages, alcoholic, and non alcoholic.
It’s a very casual atmosphere, and not private at all.
Somnot a true dining experience. Especially if you want to have dinner there.
I think they should have some half walls, with booths for that.
Our waitress was great.
And the manager always comes by to check on us.
At our table we ordered the Turkey Burger and the Grilled Fish Tacos and let me tell you both were amazing! Also highly highly recommend the chia seed pudding or flourless chocolate cake for dessert!!! Seriously so good && made with the freshest ingredients!
Our new favorite place! Love the edamame dumplings!
We went in Sunday and it was wonderful! Great menu, friendly, fast. We were very happy!!! Nice to have a healthy place to go!
We had an excellent experience. The brunch was delivered quickly and our glasses re-charged. The meal was crisp and tasty, and my out-of-town guests were very impressed and satisfied with their meals.
The server rushed us, repeatedly asking for our entree order before our appetizer arrived. Once we finally placed our entree order, he disappeared and we waited and waited. Finally, a manager appeared to inform us our meal had to be remade. He did apologize and offered a cup of soup while we continued to wait. When our long-awaited entree finally arrived, we were disappointed. We both ordered the summer special Korean noodle based on the recommendation of the server. The dish lacked flavor, and instead tasted like tart mushroom broth. It didn’t help that while we were eating, another server broke a wine glass next to us and it splattered everywhere - in fact several servers broke several items during our dining experience. As a frequent diner, I was very disappointed by the service and quality of the food during this visit.
Although I thoroughly enjoyed my meal, one of our group found hers a little too spicy. The cocktails were yummy and we were allowed to stay and chat without having the wait-staff urging us to go.
The food was amazing and our waitress was so kind and helpful. Will definitely be back!
They accommodated our large party of 8 without any delay, they were ready for us and the service was excellent. We were in Houston for a wedding and several of my family had not been to a True Food before. Everyone enjoyed what they ordered and bites were shared. My cousin and I agreed we would do the edamame dumplings as a lunch entree in the future. I recommended the spaghetti squash casserole which I’ve always enjoyed at the Legacy West location, but now I know of the delicious protein additions available to add to it. Looking forward to more True Food 😊
I used to really enjoyed my dining experience at True Food, but not very much lately. The server took the order incorrectly and did not refill my water during dining. Other than that all is ok. Thank you
Poor service. They served main food while we were eating appetizers. We asked them to bring back when we were finished, there wasn’t even room on the table to drop dishes but they stacked our plates and dropped food anyhow with total attitude.
Price was high for basic food. I probably wouldn’t care if the service was better.
They sat us next to the bathrooms, HORRIBLE location to have dinner, especially when someone opens the door and the stench hits you while you are eating. Guacamole was overrated, our server was friendly but lacked giving our table attention, we had to continuously be tracking her down, our drinks were ok and our food was cold. The waitress got our food and bills mixed up so that took time to get fixed and then I come home and I get charged 2 different tabs on my card. Try calling them, no answer and I can't leave a voice mail. Definitely not a pleasant experience.
Food was great. Some really interesting options. Good sized portions. Staff was super friendly
Food was good. Definitely some confusion between the kitchen & servers. Overall good.
I went on a Saturday afternoon, sat outdoors and enjoyed the food and drink.
I was greeted and seat before my reservation time was which nice. Everyone enjoyed their food choices.
The hummus and the edamame dumplings are our regular appetizers here. My partner was pleasantly surprised and satisfied with his protein bowl (Korean noodle bowl w chicken), and the lasagne was a winner. I’ve had the flatbreads before and they are all good. Great place if you want nourishing, clean food.
Warning: no soda products here. Don’t bring people who require soda with their meal!
Extensive menu with lots of good options and service was excellent. Would go back and try more stuff :)
Normally, I love True Foods, and every once in a while, things can’t be perfect, but this time I ordered from the Seasonal menu. The Watermelon Lemonade was very good, but could have been a little tangier. The entire I selected was a seasonal polenta bowl with grilled veggies. The veggies were very good, but the polenta was runny and way too salty. I ate the veggies from the top, but couldn’t eat the polenta. Portions are good sized, and so I didn’t walk away hungry, but was unsatisfied. Normally, however, everything on the menu is outstanding. Disappointed.
The experience was all good, the service from our server was exceptional!
Our server was so friendly and helpful. Our food was delicious and well prepared. We love it every time.
The usher did not understand my request for a quieter table. She gave us a table right next to entrance and when declined she gave us a table at the far corner closest to the kitchen. I believe it was done intentionally. There was no courtesy extended. Waiter on the other hand was awesome!!! Please let your front desk usher understand what customer service is. Very disappointed.
Great service is the game here, consistent food, wonderful attention to detail in the presentation, superb in house made products!
I just love this place! There is not one thing I have ordered that has not been amazing. The waitstaff are friendly, knowledgeable and make the whole experience a pleasurable one !
It is difficult to chat when it’s busy here. You’re basically having to yell. However the food is great, location is great and service is great.
Food was really good,
The food and service were very good, but good grief it was loud! I don't like having to raise my voice to talk to my dinner companion or having to keep asking them to repeat what they said louder. Some of this was due to families with crying babies, and louder thsn necessary music, but the design of the place and its acoustics are just like so many "modern" open box type restaurants which only amplify sound. My low rating on ambience score relates to the noisiness.
The food is of excellent quality and is very delicious. and the staff was friendly and attentive. My only complaint was the noise level. It is expected that voices and sounds will carry in an open concept dining area, but the music was too loud, and it was difficult to talk to my tablemates.
Great service and food
