I’ve been there twice. Got the Cobb salad both times due to how good it was the first time. Also, I’ve gotten the Teriyaki bowl and the cauliflower purée. Both were quite good and very flavorful. One of my favorite aspects about this place is the customization they let me do to the meals by swapping certain ingredients for others. It was very nice of them. Would recommend.
Great restaurant for families to enjoy great, tasty and fresh food. The staff was friendly and helpful.
Always delicious! Always healthy! Always fun to watch the kitchen prep! Always pristinely kept! Always lively and filled with jovial banter! Always attentive staff!
Always coming back!
the food is very good, the service can be very slow. and the noise level can be very high
Very good , excelent
Wonderful healthy food choices and fun sparkly drinks like a lemonade tonic...nice service - not hovering, attentive enough and friendly. I will for sure go again!
Food and service are always spot on, but they allow dogs on the patio... SMH... It would be a good business practice if the hostess warned customers that there were dogs on the patio before sitting down. One table had 3 dogs (2 medium sized and 1 lap dog)... The dogs were barking and doing that body shake thing (as if shaking off water), sorry just not fan of dogs when I’m eating at a restaurant. To me, True Food doesn’t give off the pub/beer/backyard bbq vibe that IMO would be a more acceptable environment for customers to bring their dogs. The patio is
Great food always! Food choices allow for a healthy lifestyle individual to each person and attentive to dietary needs. True Food is my favorite restaurant!
Our waitress was very knowledgeable of the menu and made our first time at True Food Kitchen one to remember. With refreshing cocktails, plenty of seasonal specials, and delicious vegetarian/vegan options this place is a go to for both meat and non-meat eaters alike.
Service was great! Food exceptional.
Was told I needed to stop in during a quick visit to Houston. Menu selections were great and hard to choose. Had the gf lasagna and it was quite good!! Filled me up!
Our waiter was great dealing with 9 women at a birthday dinner!
Food is consistently great quality, well prepared and tasty. Service was erratic, but other servers saw the slow service and assisted.
Food is delicious and there are plenty of options to choose, my concern would be about the portions. I don't find them big enough.
The food is very good but after dining there 3x within last 2 weeks, the service is slow
Not a very clean place. The food ranged from pretty good to barely edible.
Being healthy has never been so delicious. Can’t wait to come back.
Salad was great as well as the service! I wish they did unlimited refills on the drinks!! They are super yummy!
Our waitress was amazing!!
I have been to this location multiple times, the food is usually quite good. However in this instance the Pad Thai was bland and without flavor. Definitely will give them another try but hoping quality is not slipping.
Amazing and loved it is based on the wild diet!
We always go to this restaurant and have tried all desserts. Great experience, but when you get to the dessert, there is nothing good to pick but the flourless chocolate cake. I do not recommend any of the other desserts. Also, this restaurant is very cold. wear your jacket!
Great restaurant but too loud. However, the aumbiance is otherwise nice; trendy clean design.
Great healthy choices that taste great! Loved the special wine option to include dessert.
I usually love True Food Kitchen but unfortunately on this trip the waiter messed up my order. He didn’t write down what I ordered then repeated back the wrong thing to me - which I corrected. When our food came it was not what I had ordered. At this point I was hungry & didn’t want to waste the food so I didn’t send it back. Please have your waiters write down the orders!!
Very healthy options and seasonal menu items, so there's something new every once in a while. I had been several times for breakfast, but I was just as impressed with dinner. Even the 14-year-old liked the pizza.
We enjoyed a good lunch--the chopped salad and the turkey burger. True Food also boasts nice coffee and teas. Service is competent. One gripe--it is quite noisy inside. Luckily the weather was cooperative so we could sit outside--much more pleasant. I'm sure I'll visit again--it is a good and reliable lunch spot.
Incredible array of wholesome
(no bones about it) good food.
Great server and great food!!!
Great healthy food with taste! You feel that every bite is good for you!
Have been to several True food kitchens and this one ranks lowest. Food was ok but portions were smaller than at other TFK locations i have been to in the past. To be specific i am referencing the Curry order that 3 of us ordered. Parking was a problem and got forced to valet park with no restaurant validation.
Went here for a business lunch. A bit loud and parking a pain, but food was great. Will go back again.
Food was good but service waas BAD and slow. I may go back again but only if there is a reason.
We visited on an exceptionally cold day in Houston. However, it was colder inside the restaurant than on the outside. We were told several times that they were trying to adjust the heat, to no avail. We were there for a business meeting and by the end of our meeting we were all feeling sick and our feet were frozen. I frequent this restaurant often and was very disappointed in the management and saddened that my business associates had to experience severe cold conditions inside a restaurant.
Waited 40 minutes for the food. Waiter said it would be ready in 10.
The food was OK. True Food Kitchen is consistent. The coffee is terrible and tastes like instant coffee. The Mediterranean cauliflower was soggy and seemed to have too much of an acidic taste. You could not taste the harissa or dill at all. The Dashi ramen bowl had some flavorful taste but was lacking. I got the bowl with tofu, and it had an excellent char to it. However, the broth was flat and had too much oil. Plus, despite the dish being scalding hot, the soup was lukewarm. Overall it was just OK and far too overpriced for average food.
I was not impressed with the portion of my plates of food that was served. I have come in the pass and always had left overs. I guess that it’s the chef
Absolutely love the food here. I can’t get enough of the edamame dumplings!
Great selection here to please all eaters. Edamame dumplings always a fave. Healthy choices abound. Tasty cocktails too.
Amazing food and service!
