   Had a nice dinner here. The food, drinks and appetizers were really good. Service was excellent! Prices were a little high, but food costs we’re probably due to the location and quality of the food.

    I ordered a salad with a side of salmon and it was great but my friend ordered a burger with a side of kale and her kale was raw (not massaged and hardly dressed). Our waitress did not check on us until we were done with the meal but maybe other servers are better.

    It took an hour for our dishes to come out and the waiter never checked in with us after ordering. Asked for red pepper and received black pepper. Asked for a plain burger and received mayo on the bun.

    A couple of years ago, I had said I was done with TFK, after a horrific Mother's Day experience and a mediocre meal during the pandemic. My husband asked me to give it one more try and I have to say it was a thousand times better--the food was good, the service was SO much better than it had been the previous two times, and we had a really nice time. I still wouldn't go there on Mother's Day, but I'd be happy to go back on a non-holiday!

    Been to the Newport Restaurant 3 times and this one was just as good. Good food, great service! Love this option for my vegan daughter so we can enjoy a restaurant where she has lots of options and so do we!

    Good healthy choices on the menu. Edamame Guacamole was a tad bit salty. It hasn't been in the past when we selected it as an appetizer. The wait staff was friendly and attentive. All-in-all, a good dining experience.

    Food was fine but service wasn’t good last night. Requests for mustard/catsup never were fulfilled and wait staff removed my lemonade before I finished it and left me nothing to drink with dessert. Then we couldn’t find anyone for a while to bring us the bill. Maybe training new staff but it was oddly off last night.

    I have loved the food here for years. But they changed up their menu and I’m not sure I like it as well. Doubled the choices but maybe not the uniqueness of the dining experience. Seems to all run together now.

    Always fabulous food, nice sized drink portions and lovely table service. The hosts were great, we were checked on frequently and had a great time. Squash flatbread and sea bass were delicious!!

    The last two times I've eaten at True Food in Santa Monica, I've gotten gluten contamination. It is a severe allergy for me. I go there FOR the Gluten free items, ordered the GF Ramen and the GF Sea Bass, and both times, ended up with multiple symptoms from contamination. It was not fun. Someone is not being mindful of cross contamination in their kitchen. It's really disappointing, because I've ordered Gluten Free items in restaurants that do not profess to be as quality conscious as True Food and felt completely fine afterwards, but not at True Food.

    Enjoyed the food. Only disappointment was our waiter offered us one free piece of the vegan pumpkin pie which we accepted and split amongst the four of us. When the bill was delivered from another employee, the price of the dessert was included. We didn't want to question it but better communication between staff would have made this an excellent experience.

    Took my husband here for his birthday dinner (it's one of his favorite restaurants). Food was amazingly tasty, cocktails were balanced and delicious, and good service. We ordered one appetizer and a main for each of us and ended up in the loveliest food coma, haha. Would definitely come back!

    Love True Food. Usually try to find one when we travel. This one was really off. Brussels and cauliflower very over cooked. Main dishes just not the usual yummy. It was a rainy, quiet day. There was almost no one there as we had an early dinner before a concert. Service was totally fine. Disappointed because it’s a restaurant we rely on to consistently have good food. Oh well. Something off in the kitchen at this one.

    We were screamed at by a crazy homeless person who threaten to kill my husband. Nobody from restaurant came over to move us away from door or ask if we were ok
