Terrific food. Choices for all types of eaters -- vegans, vegetarians, omnivores, etc. Our waiter was terrific. Food came out quickly. Water glasses were never half-empty.
Only downside is that the restaurant is loud. Don't go there for an intimate dinner date...
Amazing food! Healthy and delicious. Every calorie was a good calorie. Service was attentive and. It smothering.
It was too loud inside the restaurant which gave me a headache. The waitress was not friendly.
Excellent food and service and great variety of foot items with reasonable prices given the quality of food.
The place needs to improve on the reception personnel as they often mix up the waiting list and delay providing us with a table.
One of my favorite places... love the healthy food & drink options & I always have a great time there!
The food is always great. I travel for their kale salad.
Always a great experience at true food! It’s a little loud when it’s full, not great if you’re looking for an intimate setting, but for a casual brunch with friends it never disappoints.
Our group consisted of two celiacs, one vegetarian and three full range diners. We read about the science behind True Food Kitchen’s approach and saw the wide range of GF and vegetarian options - driving 40+ minutes to dine here. The experience did not disappoint. The service was friendly/knowledgeable/funny, range of options / flavors / styles of food had creative options for everyone (some basic, many adventurous), and the food quality was outstanding. We left with take out orders for later in the evening. Highly recommend and look forward to the opening of a location close than 40+ minutes away. (Worth the drive)
Delicious and incredibly fresh tasting, minimally processed. Great plant based options. Love this place for family dinners!
I love True Food. I made the reservation more than a week in advance, confirmed it with open table the day before and when we arrived right on time, our table had been given away. VERY disappointed as we had a large group and we had to wait. They were not very accommodating.
Really healthy food and the waiter was awesome! This is now my favorite place!
The. vegan experience was well represented at True Food and the food was delicious. The spacing of the tables was tight and the noise level was high but conversation was possible, but it was a Friday night. We will return and would recommend.
Food was terrific. Nice wine selection. Tons of food choices for the healthy eaters in your group, without sacrificing taste for the foodies. Service was very slow... but we did go on the first warm day of the season, so chances are they were caught out by the nice weather and perhaps a little light on staff. Will definitely go again to try some of the other yummy looking dishes on the menu.
Great vegan and vegetarian options! Love the atmosphere here.
There is no ambiance because you are literally sitting on top of your neighbors. So if you plan on having any private conversations this is not the place. We ordered two cups of soup but they delivered the larger bowls. My ramen dish was extremely salty. The noise level is very high. Not suitable for any romantic outings. The server was friendly and attentive.
One of our favorite places! Food tastes healthy and fresh. Wish there was a closer location.
Our reserved table was given to someone else just because they claimed it before we could answer. We sat at the bar area.
Food is very tasty, but service was just okay. Had to flag down our waiter several times to get refills, place more orders.
Noise level needed to be more appropriate for birthday party of three. Request for a quiet table was ignorred....
We arrived on time , waited for 10 minutes and were led to a table for 4 people but my reservation was for 6 people. Being able to put 6 sets of silverware doesn’t mean you can seat 6 large adults for dinner. I told them that table wasn’t going to work. Then we stood there for another 5-10 minutes and finally they gave us a table for 6 people. They really looked like they had no clue. Our waiter was good and the food was good so really helped the initial unpleasant experience.
Delicious flavors and options that never disappoint. Love the freshness of their offerings.
We love to go there all the time, the food is very healthy, most of the time the service is excellent . I would like to see the kids menu with more choices. true food kitchen is my favor restaurant in Mosaic mall.
Get Bobby as your waiter. Bets is great too... The Ancients Grains bowl and the Thai main courses are awesome, as Booby had recommended... Jusy Go!
I really like this restaurant. All the food is clearly “labeled” as far as calories, dairy, etc.
It makes it very easy to Maintain my dietary restrictions while eating out.
Overall, we had a pleasant meal albeit the noise level was quite unbearable. Given the promotion about healthy dishes, I was surprised about the very salty broth that was served with edamame dumplings. The matcha drink was also too sweet. I had to add hot water to dilute it. Perhaps it would be good to give patrons the option of adding unsweetened soy or almond milk instead.
it was fun
Food was soooo good! Service was great!
I have much appreciation for accommadations for my special needs.
Great food. Fine service. I had soup and the fig and onion tart with the ginger limeade. Our server was friendly and helpful. Occasionally hard to hear my luncheon partner, but I knew that would be the case. Is always noisy. A fun place for lunch.
Always good food with healthy choices
The food has gone horribly down hill. From presentation to appearance of the plate to taste. So disappointed. I used to be a regular. Have a meeting at the Bethesda installation next week. Hope it’s not as bad. Service and ambiance still good. But the food used to really be something special as well.
Excellent place to dine in we enjoy it every time we go there.
The food and service are always incredible! One of my favorite places to eat.
Great service and good food! I love going here, and my firmed has never been and wanted to try it. We wanted to try a bunch of the food, so we got some things to share.
I always order the Ancient Grains with shrimp. Inconsistencies occur with quality at times. My bowl on Sunday was the best ever! Whoever was in the kitchen that day prepared it beautifully. Also, the staff up front is always so warm and welcoming. It was super busy that day and it wasn’t affecting their high level of service. Our server was great. Thanks so much!
Always a treat to enjoy their fresh flavorful foods!
Delicious food, thoughtful and very helpful service. Aaron was our server and he did an outstanding job of making me feel at ease with my multitude of dietary restrictions.
True Food never disappoints! The food is excellent, creative and healthy. We tried the cauliflower appetizer and loved it. We actually ordered another one for our table - it was that good. I love having healthy options at True Food while still having an awesome restaurant meal.
One of the best menus around. Love all the fresh food options. My wife eats gluten-free and they have many options. Good selection of affordable wines. I had the Lasagne Bolognese and it was fantastic. Always recommend the roasted brussel sprouts as well. Service is absolutely excellent.
The food was vey good. I liked the vegan options very much. The price was fair because the food was so good. I was happy that you could make a reservation. My only complaint was that it was pretty loud in the restaurant. But I will come back.
This was our fourth or fifth trip to True Food. A wonderful experience. Our favorite is the ancient grains bowl. The roasted sweet potatoes in this dish are especially good. Reservations are desirable especially on weekends. The high quality of the ingredients and the innovative way so which they are cooked sets this restaurant apart.
