First time at True Food Kitchen and I was very impressed. The decor is open, airy and cheery. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable but not intrusive. The menu is large, very creative and everyone will find something to enjoy. My party of three had the lasagna bolognese with kale and chicken sausage, turkey burger and quinoa bowl. We started with a mezze platter for the table featuring herb hummus, kale guacamole and a black bean dip served with carrots, cucumbers, pita and lavash. Delicious! And the cocktails were among the best (and I love me some cocktails). I will return.

This place is great every time I go! I took the in-laws here for dinner and they loved it too! Poke bowl is my go to, but we tried several other dishes, lasagna, ancient grains, polenta, all delicious!

I've gone to this establishment since shortly after it opened. The service has steadily declined, to the point that when they seated us the last time we waited...and waited...and waited. After 15 minutes without so much as an acknowledgment from a staff member. We went across the street to Alta Strada, were seated immediately, and had our order taken in less than five minutes. Guess where I'm going in Mosaic District from now on?

Food was just ok, I have been there many times and had better. The sweet potato hash was under cooked
( hard bits and pieces) and cold. The Turkey Burger was good. The water glass was not clean, a bit greasy.
The server was not that great, nice guy but needs more training. Food took over twenty minutes to come out of the kitchen, yes I did time it, ex industry profesional, I used to hate to hear that also, sorry. Love that place, will be back, maybe an off day.

I generally like everything about True Foods, but we did not have the best experience on 4/10/19. We ordered the spinach and mushroom pizza as an appetizer. It took such a long time to be delivered to our table, and when it finally was, it had no mushrooms on it. A new pizza was delivered to our table in just a few minutes. I thought the lemon ricotta on the pizza was a little too lemony. When our food finally arrived at the table, all of it was cold. We were too hungry to complain. My normally delicious T.L.T. was very underwhelming. The chocolate cake was ok, but I ordered a coffee to accompany it that was not good at all (and also looked like it was a dirty cup?). Again, I'm normally a fan, but not sure what was happening that evening we went.

We had a great time- we always do- BUT It was sooooo cold in the restaurant the night we were there. It was beautiful outside 80 degrees and as a result they must have been blasting the AC. We were all freezing.

Excellent healthy food. Plenty of choice for vegetarians and vegans. And carnivores. Food and drink was local and good.
Dining area is big and wide. Great for families and friends. Not sure I’d recommend it for a date night.
Happily come here again

The food is always amazing here! They have very good customer service but they were a little overwhelmed this time. there was a street festival taking place that made them extra busy so it took a pretty long time to be greeted by our server and for our drinks to arrive. That being said, the food came out pretty quickly! I am gluten free and try to limit dairy so really appreciate a place that has everything labeled and I trust them knowing that they are focused on healthy food!

My date is vegan and I'm keto so there was enough on the menu to share an appetizer "For the Table" and eat our favorite foods. I had the lasagna and it was a little spicy but it had just the right amount of heat. I will definitely be back!

A very healthy and tasty menu. All of the appetizers we had were delicious from the grilled cauliflower and roasted brussel sprouts to the hummus and the fantastic endamame dumplings.

Our entree's included the chicken fennel lasagna in bolognese sauce, the squash spaghetti, quinoa burger and the tofu bowl were very good.

My only complaint would be to expand the beer selection menu slightly. Plenty of wines and cocktails (and mocktails too!) to enjoy but just a bit light on the offerings in the suds department.

Our waiter was outstanding, just the right touch of support and very helpful and attentive when he needed to be.

This is my favorite restaurant but it’s definitely gotten steadily louder and more chaotic over the years. They seem to put more tables in the restaurant than they have room for and it gets a bit frustrating.

Terrific food. Choices for all types of eaters -- vegans, vegetarians, omnivores, etc. Our waiter was terrific. Food came out quickly. Water glasses were never half-empty.

Only downside is that the restaurant is loud. Don't go there for an intimate dinner date...

We had a great meal within the outside enclosure (have always wanted to be seated out there, and Spring has now provided that opportunity!). The banana date shake I had was healthy, and kept me full all day (literally!). It wasn't until lunch with this friend that I realized there are multiple True Food Kitchen locations across the nation. That's awesome!

Excellent food and service and great variety of foot items with reasonable prices given the quality of food.

The place needs to improve on the reception personnel as they often mix up the waiting list and delay providing us with a table.

Our group consisted of two celiacs, one vegetarian and three full range diners. We read about the science behind True Food Kitchen’s approach and saw the wide range of GF and vegetarian options - driving 40+ minutes to dine here. The experience did not disappoint. The service was friendly/knowledgeable/funny, range of options / flavors / styles of food had creative options for everyone (some basic, many adventurous), and the food quality was outstanding. We left with take out orders for later in the evening. Highly recommend and look forward to the opening of a location close than 40+ minutes away. (Worth the drive)

I love True Food. I made the reservation more than a week in advance, confirmed it with open table the day before and when we arrived right on time, our table had been given away. VERY disappointed as we had a large group and we had to wait. They were not very accommodating.

Food was terrific. Nice wine selection. Tons of food choices for the healthy eaters in your group, without sacrificing taste for the foodies. Service was very slow... but we did go on the first warm day of the season, so chances are they were caught out by the nice weather and perhaps a little light on staff. Will definitely go again to try some of the other yummy looking dishes on the menu.

There is no ambiance because you are literally sitting on top of your neighbors. So if you plan on having any private conversations this is not the place. We ordered two cups of soup but they delivered the larger bowls. My ramen dish was extremely salty. The noise level is very high. Not suitable for any romantic outings. The server was friendly and attentive.
