I really do enjoy the True Food Restaurant, and it was lunch time, so I realize it is busy.
However, when I am paying for a nice birthday luncheon for someone, I would prefer there to be a
little bit more room between tables and the nose level was quite loud in there.
Ambience definitely counts along with good food and good service.
The server was very good and explained drinks and menu well. The meals were rather disappointing, though. Combination fish and steak tacos were good, but the portions were very small. Dashi Bowl topped by shrimp was too salty - I could only eat the shrimp. I complained and the charge was taken off the bill. Special occasion of anniversary mentioned in reservation was not recognized.
The food was nutritional and sooo tasty. Ambiance was very relaxing
Great food, great location and great vibe. Highly recommended
My wife and I visited True Food Kitchen to celebrate Valentine’s Day. We were excited and grateful to see the many vegan options available on the menu! The service was very warm and welcoming. The food was excellent! I had the Tempeh Lettuce and Tomato sandwich with sweet potatoes, and my wife ordered the Ancient grains bowl. Both were well seasoned and balanced! Our only complaint is that there isn’t a location in Woodbridge! :-)
Came here to meet up with some friends I had not seen in a very long time. Food was delicious but did feel a bit pricey for what it was. Overall ambience was very casual yet intimate. We were able to catch up and talk without feeling like we had to talk over anyone even though the place was very busy. Service was so-so but I think our guy may have been a newbie. Overall, enjoyed ourselves. Would recommend.
The food is tasty and health and it's a fun place especially in the outer area
Awesome. Gluten free dairy free options. I would recommend to anyone. Great service and super good food!
I thoroughly enjoyed the food and the environment set during the lunch I had with my coworkers. We had not gone before and decided off a whim to go to True Food Kitchen. It was a great decision and I would highly recommend for someone looking to either grab a quick bite or have a nice sit down. I look forward to dining here in the evening rather than during lunch.
Very good food! Very good!!!
Great food and atmosphere too. They always serve consistently tasty dishes. I'm never unhappy with my experiences there.
My date and I had a wonderful experience. The food was delicious. We will come back.
Like it so much I just love it love it love it love it. It is a super duper place to eat great food!
Servers and food were excellent, but the noise level is very high. But when I requested a quieter table, they did find me one that was tolerable as far as sound goes.
We had a birthday diner for our 17yo and True Food was her pick. We shared the brussels sprouts & edamame dumplings and both were delicious. We also recommend the Dashi Ramen with steak, Panang Curry with chicken, Lasagne Bolognese.
Great food, very quick and friendly staff
Carefully and well prepared food; lots of vegetarian/vegan options; wine overpriced; little loud; waitstaff helpful and knowledgeable. Overall solid and good.
I love the food here and we had a great time. We did however have to wait to be seated for 20 minutes after our reservation time, the place was packed! Once my meal was delivered I realized my poke bowl was missing the fish, one of the managers noticed me looking around and quickly fixed the issue and got me a new dish! I’ll probably choose a different time next time but otherwise I still love this place!
Extremely loud and crowded. Acoustics were terrible.
Incredible food. Can’t wait to come back.
As always every thing was very good. My wife and I are both vegetarians and we never have trouble finding a dinner that suits us.
Love the food. Always a little loud and crowded but usually is worth this. We love to come eat here
Was a little more expensive than I anticipated, but service and good was good
So awesome - Delicious and fun
I love the food! I feel good about it’s health properties and it’s so tasty.
Sunday brunch at True Foods was fun! The service was friendly, patient, and helpful. The food was delicious. We got there at 1030, before the brunch rush. It was packed by noon when we left, with a diverse clientele, including lots of families with young children. Thanks for a great brunch!
Delicious food. Lots of options.
I made a reservation for two and we showed up a little earlier. The place was full but we were seated right away.
Service was great, they explained us everything and helped us decide what to order.
Food was amazing, I ordered the Ancient grain bowl and the tulsi tea (I’m a big fan of it now).
The place was a little loud, but it was lunch time on a Saturday...
Overall a great experience!
The food was incredibly delicious. Loved it. However, the tea was subpar. The water was not hot enough so that the tea never properly brewed. Very disappointed in the tea.
Wonderful food and drinks that taste good and feel good too.
Health code violation. Bird flying around in the ceiling rafters over OPEN CONCEPT KITCHEN and our food. Server joked that there was a hole in the roof and the bird got in all the time.
we went here for lunch so we could have choices of low-carb green salads, but were surprised that all the "salads' had lots of non-greens ingredients like cheeses, nuts, quinoa and other higher carb ingredients. Both ended up getting the poke bowl (pricey end of the menu), which had cucumbers, snow peas, fish and quinoa rice (carb but we just had a little). Server could've been more attentive. we had to flag another server down to ask for water refills.
Easily one of my favorite restaurants in the area
Food and drinks overpriced.
We love this place but it is noisy, which many people enjoy, but we prefer quiet restaurants. Nevertheless, we still consider this one of our favorite places to eat.
Good chain. Healthy food. Really big servings.
The food was so incredible that I’m still thinking about it days later! Service was awesome, making a reservation was quick and easy, all around great experience here— will definitely be back!
This was my first time to True Food. The food was great, the service was terrific. One person in our party of us is vegan and it was no problem finding dishes that he was interested in. We will definitely return.
True Food is a treat without the guilt - whole, healthy foods. The place is hopping even at 5pm for dinner - vibrant, fun, energetic scene. I ordered ancient grains bowl and it arrived two weekends in a row without the “add shrimp” as requested ... unfortunately the place is so hopping it was hard to get our wait staff’s attention back right away. Makes for an awkward table sitch with everyone staring hungrily at their plates, wanting to dig in. But the staff couldn’t be nicer.
