About True Food Kitchen - Cherry Creek
At True Food, we have a simple philosophy: serve seasonal, honest food that tastes really good. We’re a group of health-minded people that care about what we put in our bodies, as well as the footprint we leave on the environment. The ingredients coming in the back door are clean, mostly organic (we follow the Dirty Dozen) and never fake or artificial. Whether you're into the latest superfood salad or just want a pizza and burger, you'll find it here. Want a blended juice or a martini? We've got both. The chefs make everything from scratch, which means you'll know what's in your food and where it came from. At the end of the day, it's all about great food and great service.

True Food Kitchen - Cherry Creek Ratings and Reviews
We eat at True Food Kitchen at least two to three times several times a year while visiting Denver. We noticed a markable difference in service and menu options this last weekend. Two nights in a row, Sunday and Monday by 5-6pm, they were out of Cauliflower for the appetizer, Kale Aid and Gluten free pita. A free desert was comped on the second night for not having GF pizza or bread.
So , if you have dietary restrictions you might want to check that they have what you want to order.
I go here every Saturday for lunch with my father. It's usually a lovely time... and I know from past experience that it gets really busy after noon. So I made a 12:30 reservation to avoid waiting... but big mistake. I wasn't sat until 1 pm and didn't get food until 1:30 even though I only ordered the crudite - which doesn't require cooking. If you're going, prepare to wait... even with a reservation.
We’ve visited True Food Kitchen many times and this was easily the worst experience ever. We eat here specifically for their gluten free menu items but apparently today almost nothing was available. There were no chips for the guacamole and no pita bread for the hummus, so the only appetizers were cooked vegetables. Entrees were very good, but when we asked for a dessert menu we were told they were out of everything but chocolate cake and vanilla ice cream. Overall it was a pretty poor experience. We’ll probably give it one more try because in the past it’s been really good, but it won’t be any time soon.
The noise level is way to high. There were screaming children, not crying, screaming! Juice machines, extraordinarily loud conversations, and bussing and kitchen racket. I am sure that some patrons are okay with the decibels. I am not, and will not be back.
Food for lunch was okay. $5.00 for tea is just too expensive for practical me. . Our lunch bill for 2 soup, 2 apps and a single cup of tea was well over$50. If you are fine with that then this restaurant is fine for lunch. Too casual for dinner. Tasty soup.
The bowls were great and the ginger marg was excellent. True food provides the types of food we like to eat on a daily basis. Fresh, healthy, vegan, clean food and beverage. Draft beer would be a nice improvement with local craft beers. Maybe even wine on draft.
This was my first experience at True Food. I will definitely return. The lunch menu was extensive, with several tasty, yet healthy options. I had a bowl and added a protein (tofu). The vegetables were cooked just right, and the bowl was delicious, not bland like other, similar selections I have had elsewhere. The serving size was perfect for me. The hot tea was delicious as well. I glanced at the dessert menu, although did not sample any. I noted a number of interesting options I might try when I am having dinner at True Food. All in all, my dining experience was very positive.
Love the natural and healthy approach to tasty food. They were pretty busy but the service was still great and the food was good. My only disappointment was that there was ginger in the teriyaki sauce, which is unfortunate since I don't care of ginger. But the desserts are all divine and the juices are fantastic.
We have eaten here several times and enjoy it each time. We do find it toooooo loud, it is difficult to hear those at table with you. The wait staff is most helpful and knows the menu and how the dishes are prepared , always a plus when trying a new dish. We had a vegetarian with us this time and she had no trouble finding several things to eat.
I love this place. It’s not quiet, but it’s fun. The food is always great and the wait staff are some of the most polite and professional you’ll ever experience. This is a very well managed restaurant.
If you’ve never been, make time to. It’s great. Oh, and the edamame dumplings don’t exactly suck. Just FYI. (They’re outrageous!)
Love the food here and come all the time. Great vegan/vegetarian options and always great service! If you have a group with different dietary needs there's something for everyone. While it's exciting that they're doing a lot of business, it's always way too loud and you can barely carry a conversation. Not sure there's anything that can be done about that but it's worth mentioning.
