   Solid Mediterranean food that's great for sharing, or individually. The salmon skewers were perfectly cooked with a nice spicy rice underneath. Interesting wines from some different places, and nice servers. Overall nice local spot that wasn't very busy (but food is good enough it should be!). Also, a lot of vegetarian options beyond standard salad or pasta (veggie sides, mains, etc)

   They're doing it right here. I think the menu is a bit abbreviated but still plenty of choices. Great for those that aren't eating meat. Pro tip, try the Turkish wines.

    Excellent Lamb Shoulder! Two of us had the Lamb Shoulder bowl ( served with rice) and one had the Quinoa Salad with the lamb shoulder as an add-on.

    Troya is a special experience! They have great options for vegetarians as well as gluten free folks, and their staff are always so friendly and attentive. The food is fresh and delicious. I love the vegetarian moussaka and the cauliflower starter 😋

    We had to be on California Street for an event, and, as we are unfamiliar with restaurants in that area, did some research and assessment and randomly selected Troya. We were not disappointed. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Service was pleasant and not rushed. We arrived early and, after completing our meal, we were allowed to linger longer as another table for four was not needed at that time on a Monday evening. We do not live near the restaurant, but if we are in that area again, would definitely go back.

    Great restaurant. We had an early dinner on a week night. We have two kids, ages 9 and 10. We ordered the lentil soup, chicken and lamb dinners. The food was excellent and the staff friendly. The children are light eaters and generally have trouble finishing their food, however this restaurant was a hit with the kids. We will definitely be back again.

    We brought friends who love ME food and had enver been to Troya. We arrived after them and they exclaimed that they loved the menu. We ordered 4 or 5 appetizers and we all thought that everything was delicious. Fortunately we ordered only a salad and 2 entrees because we were getting full. The entrees were very good. Service was excellent and we ended up closing the restaurant. It was a very good meal and I strongly recommend this restaurant.

    Waitress was barely around after seating. They left the door and windows open even though it was 40 degrees out and when we said we were cold they just brought a little heater out. They were moving a bunch of their renovation material in through the front door and the worst part is that they were moving their large trash cans from the back through the dining area which was very unpleasant

    Drove all the way over from Berkeley for a special dinner out after reading rave reviews about this place. Boy was it worth it. The food was excellent and the wait staff was exceptional. Genuinely looking forward to coming back here to eat again

    Absolutely LOVED Troya and would choose it again over its down the street neighbor, Noosh. Terrific small plates and entrees that left me feeling healthy and satiated. It might seem like a hole in the wall from the outside, but the service, setup, ambiance, and taste were all excellent. Would highly recommend the restaurant itself , in addition to the Brussel sprouts, cauliflower, and lamb skewer.

    What a gem!!! My friend and I were looking for a Mediterranean place and saw this online and decided to check it out for dinner. We ordered the Brussel sprouts to start and each got a dish of falafels. The pita that came with it was SO fresh and delicious- I think it’s one of the best pita I’ve had in my life. I would highly recommend dining here. Staff is friendly and the outdoor seating was great.

    My wife really enjoyed the lentil soup and roasted cauliflower she ordered. I ordered the manti, which was delicious, but unevenly and not thoughly heated. Portions of the serving were below room temperature while others were at least room temperature warm.

    Modest but excellent menu. Service and responses to requests were very good. Decor is somewhat minimalist; however, it works to create a comfortable and pleasurable place to dine. Food was well-prepared, tasty and presented in attractive manner We would recommend Troya to others without hesitation.

    Terrific, low-key atmosphere. My friend and I both got the salmon kebabs and they were so delicious, so perfect, beautifully presented on cuts of wood. The Brussels sprouts and cauliflower were great, too. Staff was super nice. I get tired of all the shi-shi places in SF and Troya really hit the spot.

    WoW! Troya surpasses “Excellent” and creates an entirely new category for FANTASTIC! The vegetarian dinner for two was superb in every way. The lamb with hummus was divine. The skewers are tender and flavorful. This was our best meal out in years. The price is right. The service is attentive and helpful. The food is highest quality and flavor. The atmosphere is cozy and contemporary. The owners are OFF THE CHARTS - Kind, talented, hard working, diligent, lovely… We love Troya!!

    Troya is the best! The food is absolutely delicious. We would recommend the combo of dips, brussels sprouts, cauliflower and Turkish manti. The restaurant has wonderful indoor and outdoor dining options, and the staff is always so kind and welcoming. It's one of the best restaurants in San Francisco!

    Food , service, fast and very good. Friendly people and tasty, and well presented plates. My only small criticism would be that the restaurant felt a bit cold inside? Could be that it wasn't super busy at the time we went, but just could use some warm wood additions, just didnt have that warm buzz. But other wise, a very good experience. I would def go back
