Troy Mediterranean Cuisine
Sunday - Thursday: 11:00am - 9:30pm
Friday & Saturday: 11:00am - 10:00pm
This was a great local restaurant. Greek food is their specialty. We both had the chicken and lemon soup which is a light soup with loads of chicken and a subtle lemon flavor. Spinach pie was excellent. The herbs complimented the spinach with only a hint of feta cheese. Baklava was to die for. Had to bring some home since the serving was so big. Again this is a local almost neighborhood restaurant. Prices very reasonable and our server who is from Hawaii was outstanding.
Delicious Greek food that hits the spot. My salad was huge and the Lamb Kabobs were cooked to perfection. We had a group of 8 friends that enjoyed ourselves. Everyone loved their excellent meals. Our server was attentive with a fantastic memory of each of our different wines for refills. We will all definitely go again to Troy's.
Delicious, fresh, visually appealing--everyone in our party of 6 loved their meal. Will definitely be back !
Troy always comes through. The PEI Mussels were great.
Food and service was amazing! Will definitely be back
Hidden Savannah gem! Great food at great prices!!
Will be back!
I made a reservation on Friday night at 8:30 pm for 9:30. Even though we were out of city, we were there before our reservation time (cost us uber). When we came in, server told us that they just closed. I told him I had a reservation and he asked (it was blaming more than asking) if I did my reservation right before I came in the restaurant. I told him I made it one hour ago, he tried to check but he didn't see it right away because they didn't check the reservations probably for a long time. He told me that my reservation just pumped up. I know how to use open table, that's why I showed him what time I did my reservation ON THEIR IPAD and ON THEIR SYSTEM! He said he was sorry but chef is already left!! Chef left before reservations are done! Seriously! It is not in the middle of the city, people spend their time and their money to arrive there. This was the worst restaurant experience for me ever!
We've been to Troy many times and this experience was similar to all the others. Everyone enjoyed the food and the service was pretty good. Our waitress had some trouble getting the correct items on everyone's bill, but other than that she did a good job.
Bland food, the baba ganush was a watery mess, the kind of food that you can find in a food truck
Always reliable for good service, excellent food and reasonable prices. One of the best values in Savannah.
Another great meal at Troy, one of many over the last 11 years, we will be back.
They easily accommodated a group of 10. Our waitress was outstanding and made our evening so enjoyable. The food was delicious and everyone raves about their meal We plan on visiting there again in the future.
The staff were very helpful . Chris our waiter was excellent. The food was very good.
Pros: We were quickly seated and were brought our food very, very quickly
Cons: The chicken kebab tasted very cheap and like rubber. We sent it back and had a fresh plate brought out, and it only tasted slightly better. I ordered a salad with gyro meat added and asked if all of the ingredients were gluten free. We also asked about the chicken kabab, as we intended to share our meals. We overheard our waitress only ask about the salad but not about the kebab. When my salad arrived, there was a large crouton served on the same plate as the salad, despite my having ordered gluten free. The server then offered to pick it off with her fingers. Finally, when I later asked her for a refill of my water (the restaurant was not busy and my glass had been empty for several minutes and she had walked by several times), she rolled her eyes at me.
Excellent food, excellent service, great wine list
Bus lunch. Perfect atmosphere
Pleasant Mediterranean Restaurant. We enjoyed our meal of an antipasto platter and the chicken kebab dinner. They were both fine, though nothing exceptional. The exterior of the restaurant doesn't look very promising as it appears to be a modest strip mall place. When you get inside, it is nicer than that, with tables spaced fairly far apart. The restaurant was mostly empty when we were there, from about 6-7, so it was nice and quiet.
The food was great, service was excellent. Specials were very interesting and I would like to see them on the menu. I particularly like the seafood risotto.
Great food and service. I love this restaurant, one of my favorites in Savannah.
Great food in a quiet atmosphere. We love Greek cuisine and this feels authentic. The lamb shank was so tender it slid off the bone. Our waitress was very accommodating and checked on us regularly.
Noise depends on how busy or filled it is. Food is always great and tables are available quickly!!
The food was absolutely amazing. It was just perfect.
Troy is one of our "go to" restaurants. The food is always great. We had friends visiting and took them. Our meals were delicious. Chris, our server, always does a great job. Knowledgeable and very attentive.
Hristo....excellent server, friendly, charismatic, and professional! Food reccomendations/ choices was delicious!!
Our first visit, we plan to return soon. Maybe try it for lunch one day.
Amazing as always!
Food was authentic and exceptionally priced. Service was very friendly. Agree with all other good reviews, but the one thing no one has mentioned and can not go without being highlighted is the desserts. Hands down, the most amazing and masterful Baklava that I have ever had. Somehow the desert chef has elevated a much loved favorite into a more delicate and flavorful, mind blowing dish that must be experienced; be forewarned that once you taste it, you will never look at Baklava the same and you will hold any other Baklavas to a higher standard! (Really, it’s that good)
Awesome ! Delicious!
Our go-to nice dinner out with out of town friends. Good healthy food options, done well.
Very nice atmosphere and good food. Service was friendly and speedy.
So good it is on a par with the best restaurants in Savannah. Every item tried has been fabulous. Steak as good as Elizabeth's.
Don't let the location/outside facade fool you. We were passing through town and read the reviews so decided to try it. We pulled up and were a little worried by the location...in a somewhat rundown looking strip mall. But based on the reviews we decided to go inside and give it a try. Sooooo glad we did...this place was amazing! Incredibly warm and cozy atmosphere. Super friendly and attentive wait staff. Incredibly fresh and delicious food and generous servings that were so reasonably priced. What a gem! Definitely worth a return visit next time we are in town.
Totally awesome! Loved lunch so much for business dinner, I couldn't wait for my husband to get home so I could take them to dinner that night at Troy. Our favorite new go to restaurant. Wine list excellent too!
Wonderful food, quiet and good for conversation, cozy booths and great great service.
Very pleasant comfortable setting. Good service. Diverse wines reasonably priced. Extraordinary hummus and pita. Other apps very good. Land shame excellent. Mixed grill flavorful but dry.
Although we've lived in Savannah over 10 years we never dined here; the outside of this restaurant is verrry unassuming, in a strip mall with a lottery store and a few other odd places. However once you get in, while not fancy or lavish, it is cozy and inviting. Very good service (can't remember the very friendly waiter's name), bread with a garlicky spread with dinner, decent wine and beer prices, and an array of Greek food. We've had the mixed appetizer which includes a little of everything, spanakopita, moussaka, entree salad and baklava. All delicious. If you're not into Greek/Mediterranean food there are enough other more generic options on the menu. This is a hidden Savannah gem - since we first went a month ago we've been back twice!
My friend and I had a most pleasant dining experience. First, our waitress was very accommodating and friendly. Our choice of the spicy ground lamb kebabs was spot on--the dish reminded me of the kebabs I enjoyed in Turkey years ago! The red wine choice of pinot noir was quite delicious with the lamb. Overall, we had a wonderful meal.
We had a lovely meal, the grouper special prepared by the chef. Very tasty and a very nice serving size. Our waiter was especially helpful.
