Variety was less than expected for $27 senior price. Tea did not come with meal at that high price. Prefer bacon on brunch to be cooked more and not mushy. Would like deserts to not be mostly pastries. Would like cheese cake as dessert. Waiter could have filled water more often.
We went there for Mother's Day brunch. The service and food were excellent. My husband is gluten free and there were plenty of options for him to pick from.
Regular customer will not return way to much salt there chef has a real ego problem To times now some one in are group could not eat there dinner because of salt they did nothing but commented others had complain there working on it
Makayla was out standing my only complaint is way to much salt in the food So not sure if we can continue dining
Everything was fine. Some of our food came out a
Service and our food was very good
Food was great and reasonably price. Our server Marketa was wonderful and prompt.
Absolutely wonderful! Beautiful location, amazing food, weight staff are stellar!!!
We were very happy with our dinner at The Trophy Room! The food was absolutely delicious. These were the kinds of dishes that you really savor every bite and unashamedly take pictures of before eating because they look so darn good! We sat in the dining area that overlooks the ice skating rink. The temperature and volume were both very comfortable and we enjoyed watching the skaters throughout the evening. The service was amazing. We had an appetizer, entree, dessert, and drinks and were just blown away at every turn. This is THE date night destination.
We decided to eat at the Trophy room for Valentines day. They had three couples specials to choose from but they were out of the one my wife and I ordered. The dinning room was not over crowded and we were seated right at our reservation time of 7:15. The food we did order took over an hour to arrive to the table. It was clear the kitchen fell behind. Our server was not very attentive either. When the food did arrive my staek was under done but I ate it anyway. No way was I going to send it back and wait even longer. We have eaten at the Trophy room 4 times now and they have done well in the past. I was very disapointed this trip.
Slow night which means we had the dining hall all to ourselves. Staff was attentive and laid back. The fire pits going outside, the fresh food, and ice skaters floating around the rink made the evening enjoyable and pleasant.
Our server did an excellent job! They just need a better wine selection.
Great atmosphere, good service and delicious entrees. Love this place.
Anniversary date – staff was very kind and made note of dairy intolerance. Wished us happy anniversary several times and brought us free dessert. Beautiful view!
We eat at the Trohpy Room occasionally but we have had our anniversary dinner there for the last three years
The room itself us amazing and we love sitting on the deck by thr firepit watching the skaters wobble around
The service is impecable ,the food outstanding and the desert to die for!
We will continue our yearly visit and may even have to get out there more often
Thanks for a great evening
Very enjoyable evening. Happy with all aspects. Will be back.
Wonderful food, as always. One of our favorite places to visit when we come to Ozarks for vacation.
The Trophy Room never dissapoints. Great food and service, and this time we even sat out by the fire pit and watched hockey happening at the Ice rink below the patio.
We always expect a wonderful dining experience at the Trophy Room, and, as usual, we enjoyed great atmosphere, wonderful service, and top notch dining.
Had a great meal. Our server, Mikala was very attentive and friendly.
We asked who was the chef as the food was delicious. His name was Steve. We eat there often as the food and atmosphere is wonderful.
My husband and I had the specials. Delicious! Our server was attentive and polite. Very Romantic for our anniversary.
I had made reservations a week in advance so we could see the Mizzou skaters and were seated in the back. Not a problem if that was all there was left at the time. Our waitress was wonderful, the shining star through it all. I don’t know whether you were short on plates that night but the table clearer barely let us finish before clearing plates. In fact at one point my son in law had a fork of food lifted and clearer was clearing his plate. I have always enjoyed the manager and feel he does a great job but that night, I guess they were soda distributors ,he and the man and woman started discussing business right by our table beside my chair! The venue and waitress made our night wonderful anyway. We usually eat here about 3-4 times per year and usually have a bill of $400+ dollars plus tip when we leave. We were 10 min. late and I did call and tell them due to grandson needing to stop along the way.
Recommend making reservations. Food was Amazing. Prices right on point for quality of food and quantity of food.
Had limited menu since it was Thanksgiving Day. Was hoping we could get a Thanksgiving dinner.
Had the Thanksgiving Buffet and it was wonderful. Service and drinks, perfect. Then a big surprise on the check — an unexpected senior discount! This buffet offered fresh oysters on the half shell, cold smoked salmon, and shrimp cocktail in addition to the traditional Thanksgiving menu items. Watched skaters on the rink below. Just a lovely experience.
Holiday buffets are always very good. Great family setting with good cocktails for adults. Got table by window so could see golfers and ice skating.
Celebrated my wife’s birthday and had a great meal. All four of us were very happy with the food and service. We were seated next to a large group at first but the waitress reseated us due to the noise.
The salmon was OK, but the sea bass that I've had there is great. The steaks and posture there were good as well. I would go back again.
Everything was wonderful! Good was outstanding, the building and scenery were beautiful, and our server Molly was knowledgeable and outstanding. Definitely will come back for another try. ALSO recommend the sea bass and their Rasputin cocktail.
My wife and I thought we would try The Trophy Room out and were delighted. We were served well by a very nice young lady. Her name starts with an M... I can’t remember it now! It is a pricy restaurant. Specialty mixed drinks and wine by the glass were $9-10 each. I had the ribeye which wasn’t even on the menu but our server knew the chef had them available. It was just OK but my wife had the filet and it was outstanding and so were the vegetable served with it. We had the Cinnamon Toast Crunch ice cream for dessert and it too was stellar. We sat at a table overlooking the ice rink which was cool. No skaters until November 23rd though.
Food was amazing and our waiter, Ryan, did an excellent job!
The service here was not very attentive, however the food was pretty good and the view was gorgeous!
Enjoyed everything about Trophy Room--fun atmosphere, friendly servers, great food! While the dinner specials were a little pricey, the blackened sea bass special was excellent.
We had only game day items but they were are good! Lovely surrounding and clean. Looking forward to going back for a dinner.
Visiting from Colorado. Had the New Orleans shrimp n' grits, my wife had the twin filets. Chef Steve did an awesome job on these dishes. Marika was our friendly and efficient server. This is our second visit. We'll be back.
This was an excellent experience and we will come again and will also strongly recommend. Ryan, our waiter, was warm, friendly, informative, and very professional. The food was outstanding. We enjoyed ourselves immensely.
Took my family to The Trophy room on Labor Day Monday when many fine dining restaurants were closed. Because much of their help was off that day(many being high schoolers who had school the next day) they offered us free appetizers due to being understaffed. The view is great and the food was excellent. The Shrimp and Grits as well as the tuna and steaks were outstanding. Love this place.
As usual fantastic meal and great service. Weve been here 5 times wince buying a vacation home in the ar a and every time has been great.
We have a lake house at Lake of the Ozarks and Old Kinderhook is about 15 minutes away. We enjoy stopping there for a quick and enjoyable dinner on our way to the house on Friday evenings. It is close enough that we know once dinner is over we are almost home. Great location for us.
The evening was outstanding Marikee answered the phone and she made it seem like we had been there a 100 times friendly and very polite. Our guest service Lucretias was not only attentive but went above and beyond for a group of our size. She earned every dollar of her 25 % tip. We even tried to offer them both positions with our company but alas they seemed to have a high level of loyalty to Old Kinderhook.
