Trius Winery Restaurant celebrates the relationship between our land, our people, our wines and our food. 2010 Toronto Gold Medal Plates winner, Chef Frank Dodd showcases locally inspired cuisine made with ingredients from the bounty of Niagara Wine Country and Winemaker Craig McDonald pairs them with wines made from grapes that grow in the same soil.

Delicious but expensive. Attentive service. Gift of bubbly to celebrate a birthday. Outdoor seating overlooking vineyards and indoor seating with AC.

Today we were celebrating two birthdays but the although I specified the occasion on my reservation, the occasion was overlooked during the meal. We were let down by the portion size but the food quality was there so we still enjoyed. Loved the scenery and the service was great.

Two of us and two friends came for dinner as we had done a couple of years ago. The food and wine were great and we were seated in the dining room because it was too cool to sit outside. It was quite noisy (a table of six younger people were next to us) and while their conversation was not overly loud it did affect our ability to converse. Last time we were there we were outside on the patio and it was much better.
Overall, the experience was very good and our waitress was excellent.

Amazing food. Eyes roll back in your head level food. 5/6 of us got the tasting menu and felt so bad for the one friend of ours who didn't but he seemed perfectly happy with all of his choices. Great staff, friendly and informed, great food, great wine.

I didn´t know that Niagara on the Lake was a wine area until we drive nearby. When we arrived at the restaurant, we had a very good impression. It looks very sophisticate, but the service was so kind and gentil that we felt totally comfortable.
the food. The starters were delicious, well presented and very unique.
The main course, however, wasn´t big enough to share, at least when you have more men on the table... The only disappointment was the fish & chips. although it wasn´t "dry", the aspect and taste didn´t please. No problem; next time we will choose another course and it will be perfect, for sure!

Great food and services. The combination of corn soup and smoked salmon is a Ted special to my wife's liking. Other than that, would not hesistate to recommend people to go.

I think the bread with your wine butter was a good start. the salad was not what I expected two little bites should be more we waited quite a while for our next main when I got the main their was basically meat one little potato very little sides it needs more vegetables more substance potatoes savor to balance out the food experience.We order Ed desert received an icecream bar with some blueberries it did not taste any different than a Chapman's ice cream bar.l paid over 200.00 with tip you asked me that's my opinion thanks Roger 🇨🇦

A fantastic evening, 5 courses of the chef’s gastronomical delights, paired exquisitely by Brad our sommelier. Brad & Brad made the evening the clear highlight of our Niagara stay. We can’t wait to go back.

Beautifully appointed, indoor/outdoor winery restaurant with a wonderful view.
Decor is particularly attractive.
Service excellent-staff attentive and well informed.
Food imaginative, flavorful and beautifully presented.
Have dined here three times since last summer and will definitely return.

We dine at Trius almost every time we visit NOTL, which is about 4 times per year. Typically, a great meal is a standard expectation which is why we visit so consistently. Unfortunately, this was the first experience we had which just wasn’t good. Overall, the service was fine, but the food was not. The menu has become way too heavy on eggs (a top everything) and goat cheese (which I can’t stand). I ordered the steak with a horseradish popover. At $60 per plate I expected to have it cooked as requested which was medium-well. The steak arrived “grey” well done, bone hard and flavorless. The popover, supposedly horseradish infused, was full of goat cheese which was not listed on the menu. Our server was kind enough to remove the dish from our final bill, but that experience left me disappointed overall.

Was here to celebrate a birthday...the food was amazing and the service was informative and attentive. Chose also to pair the wines with the meal... what a great option..also did the black glass tasting challenge which was fun...highly recommend

Brought friends from Vancouver to this restaurant. The food and service and ambience as usual was amazing. What we didn’t know is that in Sunday’s the brunch menu is served all day and it’s three courses for around $40.00 without wine so the menu is more limited on Sunday’s. Also we reserved on Open Table and could only get a reservation at 2:00 pm...when we went to the Winery and checked out the restaurant around 1:00 pm it was empty! What’s with that?

We were here for a second time, this occasion was my husband’s birthday. The service, food and wine were outstanding. Great decor, and they really spoiled my husband. Whitefish and ribeye steak just melted in your mouth. Wine pairings were perfect, food and wine portions generous. We will be back!

The presentation and the taste of the food were excellent! Our server was great. However, the girl who explains our dish was super impolite. She was rude. She explained the dish so fast and turned away her head immediately while saying “enjoy your food”. She gave us a feeling that she just wanna finish her line and leave us.

My date and I were extremely happy with the ambiance, service, and cuisine. The “Showcase” selection of wild fermented Chardonnay was fabulous. I can, without hesitation, highly recommend this restaurant.

We had lunch on the outdoor patio overlooking the vineyards. What a beautiful setting! It was also quiet and the weather was pleasant which added to the ambience. The wait staff were helpful and friendly and answered our questions accurately which made our food choices tailored to each of our needs. The presentations of food were beautiful and the tastes of everything were outstanding. We can highly recommend the outdoor dining at Trius Winery without hesitation.
