Trius Winery Restaurant celebrates the relationship between our land, our people, our wines and our food. Chef Frank Dodd showcases locally inspired cuisine made with ingredients from the bounty of Niagara Wine Country, and Winemaker Craig McDonald pairs them with wines made from grapes that grow in the same soil. Extend your stay in Wine Country, and allow us to arrange a private tasting in The Loft or another Winery Experience prior to your meal. Be sure to join us for Date Night, every Monday starting December 4th (Blackout dates: December 25, January 1, Feb 26, all of March, April 2). For $99 per couple enjoy a three course dinner and bottle of Trius Wine.

It is an expensive restaurant but service is excellent and well thought out.

The food, wine and atmosphere were amazing! The service was super busy and seemed stressed out over the events going on while we were dinning and because we were only two people we sometimes had to wait and abnormally long time for service. But the waiter was friendly over all an amazing experience.

This was a family occasion and unfortunately our food wasn’t up to par. My halibut was over cooked and dry, I chose not to complain as to not ruin everyone else’s meal. Unfortunately the fish and chips were cooked too fast and burnt the outside while not cooking through completely. Everyone that had it left the out battered part and none of the many waiters noticed. We were all not very impressed when they opened the second bottle of wine and poured it into everyone’s incomplete glass’ from the first bottle. The Caesar salad was good. Everyone enjoyed their desserts. My drip coffee tasted like dirty water. The French press looked a little better. Do not think I will be back as there are many more options in the county.

Amazing flavors off the a la carte menu, one of the best dinners I’ve had in awhile. Make sure to do a wine tasting prior to dinner!

Birthday. Much to expensive. Caesar Salad for $32.00 is ridiculous. Will not be back

The menu is misleading. My friend and I shared the Ontario mushrooms appetizer. The menu did not mention that it was on bread, even though every other component was mentioned. My friend does not eat bread! It was delicious however the menu led us to believe that we could trust it for ingredients and then failed to do so. Similarly I ordered Wine Cherries for desert and it included a cheesecake bar, according to the menu. What I actually received was an ice cream bar coated with chocolate and a few cherries. My friend's dessert was fabulous. Overall we had a lovely time together and great service. I suggest that patrons ask the server to describe exactly what will be brought to the table.

Crab, shrimp soup was excellent. I also had the scallops appetizer which was delicious. Wonderful dessert of white chocolate filled with liquid custard, sponge cake & strawberries-creative & yummy. Husband had charcuterie plate that was superb. Only hitch- all 3 bowls of soup came like warm. Waitress corrected problem immediately, h replaced all with new bowls of steaming soup. Beautiful ambience. Quiet.

The restaurant at Prius offers New York or Montreal quality food in a multi star Michelin presentation at a fraction of the price, and this in an ambiance unmatched by the off-the-scale Napa Valley restaurants with those Michelin stars. Bravo Canada!

We had a tour prior to dinner with Brie, she was awesome in every way. It was our wedding anniversary and it was a perfect evening thanks to Brie and the rest of the staff.

We visit NOTL annually for the Shaw Festival. We've been dining at Trius since it was Hilderbrand and have always found the food to be very good. Our last visit was no exception. That said, given the very poor service we experienced on our visit, we can only recommend it with reservations. Our first courses arrived before we had finished our aperitifs. Not horrible, but not expected. After those plates were cleared, we waited 30 minutes for our main courses. There was no explanation during that long interval from our waiter. In fact, we finally got the attention of another staff member and asked if she could check on our meals. When they were delivered, the waitress said the lamb had to be redone because it had been overcooked the first time. My husband's duck was tepid, undoubtedly due to the delay.

Very nice, but the wine pairings in the black glass were very small pours. Was expecting a bit more pour for the price punch. The food was very exquisite however. I would recommend a bottle purchase instead of a wine tasting with dinner meals.

Everything was delicious. The red pepper and tomato bisque was exquisite. Full of fresh flavor. The scallop appetizer also had surprising perfectly melded flavors. We must come back for the tasting menu.

Ordered drinks and reviewed the menu. Decided after reviewing extremely limited and overpriced menu not to eat there. Paid for the over priced drinks and left. Ambience was great but that is the extent of it. Will not be back.

Four of us from Virginia --thoroughly and completely enjoyed the whole experience-the look of the place, the charming service, the delicious food and the outstanding wine. We purchased enough to take back home to relive the memories. We will be back!

One of the best meals I have had this year. Each dish was bright and thoughtful. Consommé with Local asparagus and homemade gnocchi, lobster with melon and tea broth, ice wine smoked salmon, just beautiful food. Great chef.

Everything was great. From the main part of the dish, to everything on the side. I'm also not a wine person, but the Trius Brut was great. Give it a try if you don't like wine!

Everything was perfect; from the vineyard setting, food to wine pairing. But our server, Tyler, was the one that took this Sunday brunch over the top!
He’s the BEST!

My husband's and my experience were absolutely wonderful during our late night dinner on the outside terrace. The chef's tasting menu was delicious and they agreed so easily to substitute a dish due to a lobster allergy. All the dishes were tasty, having a great variety, served to perfection, beautiful presentation and the service was top notch. Our server who's name escapes me unfortunately, was perfect. The timing between courses was just right so we did not feel rushed, server was informative and most pleasant. Our server provided us a private tasting at our dinner table while we were discussing and debating wine. Thank you so much to her!!!

Celebrated our 37 year anniversary . Could not be more satisfied. Our sever, Sharee was outstanding. She made the experience extra special. My wife had the 5 course pairing and I ordered from menu. Each dish was unique and delicious. The wine was excellent and desert was a great way to end a beautiful evening.

Waitress never returned to our table for wine or water . Dessert came 25 minutes after we ordered it and had finished our coffee. Second coffee was not offered again until after the bill was requested. Sorry to have experienced this , Trius has been our special event and Niagara go to for celebrations and entertaining relatives from outside Ontario.

We went to Trius for lunch to celebrate my dad’s 82nd birthday on June 23, 2018. From the moment we arrived we were treated and provided with attentive and gracious customer service. As soon as we were all seated complimentary sparking champagne “Brut” was poured-a lovely and unexpected touch. Our meals were presented beautifully and provided a variety of delicious and fresh flavours and tastes. We couldn’t have had a better celebration. Thanks Trius Staff!
