We enjoyed a wonderful fall lunch outdoors. It was perfectly shaded. The waiter, Walter was very nice and explained every detail about our meals. We had sirloin, gnocchi, pb+j mille feuilles and everything was incredible. Highly recommend.

Enjoyed a fantastic anniversary dinner. The duck appetizer was wonderful as was the Pickerel. Both dishes had a fantastic variety of flavours textures and aromas Very well done Attentive but non-intrusive service

The chef managed to surprise all 4 of us with a completely unexpected variation on what the menu described in a way that far exceed expectation. We started sitting outside until the sun went down and staff quickly ushered us into the comfort and ambience inside. Definitely will return.

Overall a very pleasant dining experience. Myself and my party were impressed by the quality and presentation of the food and service. One comment made by those who had the duck appetiser was that more cracker would have improved the dish. Except for that, the entire experience was above our expectations. Thank you and we will see you again.

Absolutely perfect experience. We were celebrating our anniversary and were seated in a lovely, quiet area where we could talk and hear each other easily in spite of the restaurant being very busy. We had three courses (vegetarian/vegan) and would be hard-pressed to choose a favourite because everything, including the wine, was excellent. Highly recommend the gnocchi and both the pumpkin and pb&j desserts were delicious. The grilled romaine salad was light and flavourful. Thanks to Michelle and to Jonathan for a perfect evening.

We had a wonderful birthday lunch at Trius. The food was very good indeed; however, desserts featured pumpkin, peanut butter etc. which are not items liked by all. Suggest including something with chocolate, creme anglaise. Thought the explanation of what table d'hote is was a bit hokey and redundant. The service was just outstanding - attentive and very pleasant - in a beautiful room with nice, unintrusive, quiet music. All in all a really lovely experience.

Food and wine were good. We had the beet and chicken and cheese as dessert : my overall comment would be that everything had too much smoke tasting. Presentation of food in our plate was great and also descriptions of it by young servers: great idea to let them be présenter at our table. Unfortunately we had a van in front of us and blue fences that were cutting the view of vineyards. It is unfortunate that that detail is not taking in account in the ambience.

I was a little hesitant to go when I read the menu online. I wasn’t sure what I would actually be eating.😂. The restaurant is small and well laid out. The staff were very personable and friendly. They explained each dish and made recommendations. The crispy pork belly appetizer was a unique & delicious start. I had the halibut as the main and it hit the spot. I love the combination of the veggies and white wine sauce with the fish. I truly enjoyed the meal and would highly recommend an evening at Trius to everyone.

Went with wife and adult daughter for dinner on Monday September 11. All of us went for the 2 course meal. The Halibut was fabulous. The chardonnay sauce was incredible. The pork belly starter I had was very tasty. Could have dinned on that all night. Server Jennifer was great pairing the wines with the meal choices.

Exquisite fine dining and service. Our group of 6 thoroughly enjoyed the appetizers and main dish. However even though the group also had different desserts we all agreed the desserts were not up to the remainder of the meal and should be totally redone. That would have raised our rating to 5 stars.

Lunch was excellent. The food was excellent, particularly the Duck breast starter and the halibut and steak were also excellent. Walter, our server, was outstanding,,,he was very attentive and we thank him for making it such a memorable experience.

We celebrated our anniversary at Trius. At first it took awhile for the server to come to our table but we quickly forgave this delay when she brought us two glasses of sparkling wine to celebrate our anniversary. The rest of the evening was perfect. The food was excellent, particularly the halibut, and the service continued to be perfect. We would highly recommend Trius restaurant and will most certainly go back as we live very close.

Absolutely wonderful. The dishes were packed with flavor, and the attention to detail by the cook staff and the wait staff was of the highest quality. The wine pairings then took it all to a new level. I really can't say enough positive things, and will go out of my way to return.
