Monday $99 Date Night menu is great - highly recommend!
We were celebrating my husband's birthday on a very cold and blustery evening. The waiter was very friendly and knowledgeable. The food was good and beautifully presented. My husband's desert was presented with a birthday greeting - a lovely touch. Would love to see the view in the spring, summer or fall.
The food was great and the service was excellent. The ambiance is great for a romantic date.
This was an unexpected find. We expected a nice meal and ended up having a wonderful experience. The meal was delicious, service was great along with the atmosphere. You can't beat having dinner while watching a beautiful sunset. Thank you for a wonderful experience.
The food, service and ambiance set the stage for a lovely brunch to celebrate friends' nuptials. As well, our server kindly took time to answer questions about the paired wines and she actually knew enough about aging, barreling and grapes. She even hand wrote the list of wines. We also appreciated the quality of the foods sourced locally. The wine was very good, especially the Late Harvest.
Food and service were excellent. We drive from London and try to get here a few times a year.
Fabulous food and great service.
Wines were exceptional also!
we been visit couple time ,we are very happy with the food and the excellent service
Our experience was phenomenal. We did the 5 course with wine pairing and would highly recommend it to get the full experience. Our server Peter was fun and very knowledgeable.
Fantastic venue. Great staff. The burger was AMAZING!
Always a pleasure dining here which is why we drive an hour and a half to get to this restaurant . Food is incredible extremely delicious and the presentation is top notch . I always order showcase pairings absolutely fantastic .
We make the trip from Ottawa a few times a year and always stop at Trius for dinner. We always have the tasting menu with paired wines. It is always a very special dinner that we look forward to. The service is amazing and the food and wines always spectacular!
Our dinners at Trius are the best dinners out we have all year and we look forward to our next visit.
If you haven't had dinner at Trius you must go, you will not be disappointed!
The food was amazing, presentation, service and dining space were 5 star. Special occasion dining well worth the cost.
The tasting menu with the Showcase wine paring was absolutely fabulous! The meal was creative journey and we were pleasantly surprised throughout the evening with different flavors, artistic plating, and wonderful pairings. The vegetarian option - the Ontario Farmers bowl was amazing!!! I have been a vegetarian for 28 years and this is one of the best meals I have been fortunate enough to enjoy. My favorite wine was the wild ferment Chardonnay which paired wonderfully with the butternut squash soup, we purchased a bottle to enjoy at home. We will be visiting again.
Great restaurant, with beautiful decor, comfortable chairs, attentive staff. They accommodated my gluten free diet. And the food was fantastic. Expansive wine list from their own winery. No loud music, enough room between the tables. The waiters are highly professional.
We had the best waitress, Michaela, the most delicious dinner, and the food presentation and flavours were outstanding. We came to celebrate and you helped us do it in style! We will consider this an unforgettable night! Merry Christmas team!
Exceptional as usual. Here the emphasis is on quality food and service. You won't get huge servings but you will go away very satisfied. I especially like that regardless of a party of 2 or 10, all of your courses will arrive at your table at the same time. No one will have food sitting in front of them waiting for someone else in the party to get their's. Even if it takes 6 servers to bring the courses all at once then that is what they do. And each server will describe what is on the plate in front of you. This is an excellent, elegant place to dine.
Good food, good service, good ambiance. Our family, party of 4 adults, enjoyed very much.
Enjoyed the members brunch immensely. Selection and quality were terrific. The mushroom appetizer with the fried egg was exceptional. Try the creme brûlée you won’t be disappointed.
Always amazing experience!!!! Loved the duck egg with mushrooms and white fish.
Excellent service and the food was great! Nice environment and the wine was amazing! Definitely returning, great spot for date nights!
Birthday, and small family grouping of 5.
Very good service and well presented meals. Complimentary glass of sparkling wine
Would like to see a few simpler options on the menu.
All enjoyed the meal very much.
Fantastic! From beginning to end. Best service all around. Love this place!!! Our favourite restaurant!
Super food and great service. Thanks Jennifer! (Our server)
We celebrated our engagement at Trius! The food was outstanding, the service was wonderful and we could not have asked for more.
Amazing! Ashely and Peter made us feel SO welcome. The food was delicious. The wine Devine and the people were delightful. Love, love, love this place :)
A memorable evening. We did the tasting menu and it did not disappoint. Service by Peter was perfect. Thank you, Trius!
Food was great, excellent service as well. It was perfect for brunch
Trius Winery Restaurant offers a wonderful dining experience for anyone who values exceptional food and wine that's paired with very personal service. My wife and I have never been disappointed by any of our many visits to this fine establishment.
For our annual trip to Niagara on the Lake this year we decided to try one of the wineries for dinner. We were all happy we went to Trius. The food, presentation of the food, the service and the ambiance was exceptional. The wine was wonderful. We all agreed one of the best Rieslings we ever had. Looking forward to another visit.
Trius is always great. We had another wonderful lunch and the lamb shanks (main) were perfect. Tender and tasty. Always great wine and wonderful service. One of the best restaurants in Niagara on the Lake!
We loved the fact that the wine was 50% off that evening (Wednesday Nov 21). We were disappointed because the menu on line did not reflect what was available that evening. The chick pea falafel's were no longer on the menu and my sister is vegetarian and was expecting to order them so she was disappointed. We were there for her 50th birthday so that was unfortunate. The chocolate cake was not available either. Both of these items were on the menu on line.
Top notch food paired with their showcase wines is one of the meals you will enjoy anywhere! Every dish was tasty and appropriately sized and exquisitely presented. It was a spectacular dinner enjoyed over 2 hours. It's an expensive meal, no doubt, but if the best in fine dining and wines is what you want and are willing to pay for, this is it!
Manager took care of us well. Are waiter was very ignorant when we all sent are meals back. To bad very nice table an atmosphere
first time in the resturant for the members weekend - excellent choices and the staff were increditable, absolutely loved it and can't wait to go again
Amazing food, very good service but when they get busy is not easy to get their attention, on the expensive side
The quality of the food and service was average for fine dining standards. My date and I felt that the final bill, cost of the dinner was quite exorbitant. For that reason we will select other fine dining restaurants in the region for excellent service, and food quality, and superior value.
We were in town visiting and were recommended this restaurant and it was amazing! Great atmosphere, great service, and delicious food. We also did a wine tasting which was great and the store has so many cute items! Highly recommend!!
Lovely restaurant surrounded by vineyards. Food was amazing. Servers very attentive. Overall experience was very memorable.
The fabulicious lunch menu was tempting. We both ordered the butternut squash soup. It was delicious and had a wonderful presentation (waiters arrived with a bowl with nuts and muffin bits on the bottom, then they poured the soup on top). It had small bits of carrot muffin swimming in a smooth rich soup. It really did not need the muffin bits at all.
I ordered the Trius fish and chips, recommended by the waiter. The menu said “Lake Erie white fish”. I found the fish rather dry, so I asked the waiter what was the white fish. He told me it was Lake Huron fish. Then he returned a few minutes later he arrived to tell me it was halibut. My date had the ribeye beef burger, which he enjoyed. Both meals came with russet fries. Nothing special there.
For an additional $8 you could order dessert so we decided to split the hazelnut chocolate beignets. 3 small “Timbit-like” balls filled with chocolate and a small bowl of chocolate sauce. Not really worth it.
